Psalmii 146
1 Lăudați pe DOMNUL. Laudă pe DOMNUL, suflete al meu.
Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
2 Cât timp trăiesc voi lăuda pe DOMNUL, voi cânta laude Dumnezeului meu cât voi fi.
I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
3 Nu vă puneți încrederea în prinți, nici în fiul omului, în care nu este ajutor.
[You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
4 Suflarea lui iese, el se întoarce în pământul lui; chiar în ziua aceea gândurile lui pier.
And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
5 Ferice de cel ce are pe Dumnezeul lui Iacob ca ajutor al său, a cărui speranță este în DOMNUL Dumnezeul său;
But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
6 Care a făcut cerul și pământul, marea și tot ce este în ea, care ține adevărul pentru totdeauna.
He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
7 Care face judecată pentru cei oprimați, care dă mâncare celor flămânzi. DOMNUL dezleagă prizonierii;
He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
8 DOMNUL deschide ochii orbilor, DOMNUL ridică pe cei încovoiați; DOMNUL iubește pe cei drepți;
Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
9 DOMNUL păzește pe străini; el ușurează pe cel fără tată și pe văduvă, dar calea celor stricați o răstoarnă.
Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
10 DOMNUL va domni pentru totdeauna, chiar Dumnezeul tău, Sioane, din generație în generație. Lăudați pe DOMNUL.
Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
