Psalmii 141

1 Un psalm al lui David. DOAMNE, strig către tine, grăbește-te înspre mine; deschide urechea la vocea mea, când strig către tine.

A Psalm of David. O Lord, I have cried to you; hear me: attend to the voice of my supplication, when I cry to you.

2 Să se îndrepte rugăciunea mea înaintea ta ca tămâia; și înălțarea mâinilor mele ca sacrificiul de seară.

Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; the lifting up of my hands [as] an evening sacrifice.

3 Pune o gardă, DOAMNE, înaintea gurii mele; păzește ușa buzelor mele.

Set a watch, O Lord, on my mouth, and a strong door about by lips.

4 Nu înclina inima mea la niciun lucru rău, pentru a face fapte stricate cu oameni care lucrează nelegiuire, și nu mă lăsa să mănânc din lucrurile lor plăcute.

Incline not my heart to evil things, to employ pretexts for sins, with me who work iniquity: and I will not. let me not unite with their choice ones.

5 Să mă lovească cel drept, va fi bunătate; și să mă mustre, va fi untdelemn ales, care nu îmi va sparge capul; căci rugăciunea mea de asemenea va fi continuă în nenorocirile lor.

The righteous shall chasten me with mercy, and reprove me: but let not the oil of the sinner anoint my head: for yet shall my prayer also be in their pleasures.

6 Când judecătorii lor vor fi doborâți în locuri stâncoase, vor auzi cuvintele mele, căci ele sunt dulci.

Their mighty ones have been swallowed up near the rock: they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.

7 Oasele noastre sunt împrăștiate la gura mormântului, ca și când cineva taie și despică lemne pe pământ. (Sheol h7585)

As a lump of earth is crushed upon the ground, our bones have been scattered by the [mouth of] the grave. (Sheol h7585)

8 Dar ochii mei sunt spre tine, DUMNEZEULE, Doamne; în tine este încrederea mea; nu lăsa sufletul meu pustiit.

For mine eyes are to you, O Lord God: I have hoped in you; take not away my life.

9 Păzește-mă de capcanele pe care le-au pus pentru mine și de cursele lucrătorilor nelegiuirii.

Keep me from the snare which they have set for me, and from the stumbling blocks of them that work iniquity.

10 Să cadă cei stricați în propriile lor plase, în timp ce eu deodată scap.

Sinners shall fall by their own net: I am alone until I shall escape.
