Psalmii 128

1 O cântare a treptelor. Binecuvântat este oricine se teme de DOMNUL și umblă în căile lui.

A Song of degrees. Blessed [is] every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

2 Căci vei mânca din munca mâinilor tale: vei fi fericit și îți va fi bine.

For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.

3 Soția ta va fi ca o viță roditoare lângă marginile casei tale, copiii tăi ca ramuri de măslin în jurul mesei tale.

Thy wife [shall be] as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Iată, astfel va fi binecuvântat omul care se teme de DOMNUL.

Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

5 DOMNUL te va binecuvânta din Sion; și vei vedea binele Ierusalimului toate zilele vieții tale.

The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 Da, vei vedea pe copiii copiilor tăi și pace peste Israel.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, [and] peace upon Israel.
