Psalmii 126

1 O cântare a treptelor. Când DOMNUL a adus înapoi din captivitate pe cei ai Sionului, eram asemenea celor ce visează.

A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. When the Lord brought his people back from captivity to Zion, it was as if we were dreaming!

2 Atunci gura noastră s-a umplut cu râs și limba noastră cu cântare; atunci au spus cei dintre păgâni: DOMNUL a făcut lucruri mari pentru ei.

We laughed so much, we sang for joy. The other nations said, “The Lord has done wonderful things for these people.”

3 DOMNUL a făcut lucruri mari pentru noi, de aceea suntem veseli.

The Lord certainly has done wonderful things for us. How happy we were!

4 Adu înapoi pe ai noștri din captivitate, DOAMNE, ca râurile în sud.

Please return and help us again, Lord. Renew us like streams of water that renew the Negev desert.

5 Cei ce seamănă cu lacrimi vor secera cu bucurie.

Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy!

6 Cel ce merge înainte plângând, purtând sămânță prețioasă, se va întoarce fără îndoială cu bucurie, aducându-și snopii.

Those who weep as they go out to sow their seed will be singing in celebration when they carry the harvest home.
