Psalmii 125

1 O cântare a treptelor. Cei ce se încred în DOMNUL sunt ca muntele Sion, care nu se clatină, ci dăinuiește pentru totdeauna.

A Song of Ascents. They who trust in Yahweh, [are] like Mount Zion, which shall not be shaken, Age-abidingly, shall it remain.

2 Ca munții împrejurul Ierusalimului, astfel este DOMNUL împrejurul poporului său de acum înainte și pentru totdeauna.

Jerusalem! mountains, are round about her; and Yahweh, is round about his people, from henceforth even unto times age-abiding.

3 Căci toiagul celui stricat nu se va odihni în partea celor drepți, ca nu cumva cei drepți să își întindă mâinile spre nelegiuire.

For the sceptre of lawlessness shall not remain over the allotment of the righteous, —lest the righteous put forth—unto perversity—their hands.

4 Fă bine, DOAMNE, celor buni și celor integri în inimile lor.

Do good, O Yahweh, unto such as are good, even unto such as are upright in their hearts.

5 Cât despre cei ce se abat spre căile lor strâmbe, DOMNUL îi va conduce cu lucrătorii nelegiuirii, dar peste Israel va fi pace.

As for them who turn aside unto their crooked ways, Yahweh, will lead them forth, with the workers of iniquity, Prosperity on Israel!
