Psalmii 124

1 O cântare a treptelor, a lui David. De nu ar fi fost DOMNUL de partea noastră, să spună Israel;

2 De nu ar fi fost DOMNUL de partea noastră, când oameni s-au ridicat împotriva noastră,

If not Yahweh who was for us when rose up on us anyone.

3 Atunci ei ne-ar fi înghițit de vii, când furia lor s-a aprins împotriva noastră;

Then alive they had swallowed up us when burned anger their on us.

4 Atunci apele ne-ar fi copleșit, pârâul ar fi trecut peste sufletul nostru;

Then the waters they had overflowed us a torrent it had passed over self our.

5 Atunci apele umflate ar fi trecut peste sufletul nostru.

Then it had passed over self our the waters raging.

6 Binecuvântat fie DOMNUL, care nu ne-a dat ca pradă pentru dinții lor.

[be] blessed Yahweh who not he has given us prey to teeth their.

7 Sufletul nostru a scăpat ca o pasăre din plasa păsărarilor, plasa s-a rupt și noi am scăpat.

Self our like a bird it has escaped from a snare of fowlers the snare [has been] broken and we we have escaped.

8 Ajutorul nostru este în numele DOMNULUI, care a făcut cerul și pământul.

Help our [is] in [the] name of Yahweh maker of heaven and earth.
