Psalmii 121

1 O cântare a treptelor. Îmi ridic ochii spre munți, de unde îmi vine ajutorul.

A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?

2 Ajutorul îmi vine de la DOMNUL, care a făcut cerul și pământul.

My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

3 El nu va lăsa să ți se clatine piciorul, cel ce te păzește nu va dormita.

He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.

4 Iată, cel ce păzește pe Israel nu va dormita, nici nu va dormi.

Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 DOMNUL este păzitorul tău, DOMNUL este umbra ta peste dreapta ta.

Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.

6 Soarele nu te va lovi ziua, nici luna noaptea.

The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 DOMNUL te va păstra de la tot răul, îți va păstra sufletul.

Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.

8 DOMNUL va păstra ieșirea ta și intrarea ta, de acum înainte și pentru totdeauna.

Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.
