Psalmii 119
1 ALEF Binecuvântați sunt cei neîntinați pe cale, care umblă în legea DOMNULUI.
Blessed are those who are perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah.
2 Binecuvântați sunt cei ce țin mărturiile lui și îl caută cu întreaga inimă.
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart.
3 Ei de asemenea nu fac nelegiuire, ei umblă în căile lui.
Yea, they do no unrighteousness. They walk in his ways.
4 Tu ne-ai poruncit să ținem stăruitor preceptele tale.
Thou have commanded thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
5 O, de ar fi fost căile mele rânduite să țină statutele tale!
O that my ways were established to observe thy statutes!
6 Atunci nu mă voi rușina când voi respecta toate poruncile tale.
Then I shall not be put to shame when I have respect for all thy commandments.
7 Te voi lăuda cu o inimă dreaptă, după ce voi învăța judecățile tale drepte.
I will give thanks to thee with uprightness of heart when I learn thy righteous judgments.
8 Voi ține statutele tale, nu mă părăsi de tot. BET
I will observe thy statutes. O forsake me not utterly.
9 Cu ce își va curăți un tânăr calea? Ținând seama la ea conform cuvântului tău.
With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to thy word.
10 Cu întreaga mea inimă te-am căutat, nu mă lăsa să rătăcesc de la poruncile tale.
With my whole heart I have sought thee. O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Cuvântul tău l-am ascuns în inima mea, ca să nu păcătuiesc împotriva ta.
I have laid thy word up in my heart that I might not sin against thee.
12 Binecuvântat ești tu, DOAMNE, învață-mă statutele tale.
Blessed are thou, O Jehovah. Teach me thy statutes.
13 Cu buzele mele am vestit toate judecățile gurii tale.
With my lips I have declared all the ordinances of thy mouth.
14 M-am bucurat în calea mărturiilor tale, cât în toate bogățiile.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies as much as in all riches.
15 Voi medita la preceptele tale și voi lua seama la căile tale.
I will meditate on thy precepts, and have respect for thy ways.
16 Mă voi desfăta în statutele tale, nu voi uita cuvântul tău. GIMEL
I will delight myself in thy statutes. I will not forget thy word.
17 Fă mult bine servitorului tău, ca să trăiesc și să țin cuvântul tău.
Deal bountifully with thy servant that I may live, so I will observe thy word.
18 Deschide-mi ochii să văd lucrurile minunate din legea ta.
Open thou my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 Eu sunt străin pe pământ, nu ascunde poruncile tale de mine.
I am a sojourner in the earth. Hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Sufletul meu se frânge de dorința pe care o are pentru judecățile tale tot timpul.
My soul breaks for the longing that it has to thine ordinances at all times.
21 Tu ai mustrat pe cei mândri, care sunt blestemați, care rătăcesc de la poruncile tale.
Thou have rebuked the proud, who are cursed, who wander from thy commandments.
22 Îndepărtează de mine ocara și disprețul, fiindcă am păzit mărturiile tale.
Take away from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept thy testimonies.
23 Prinți de asemenea au șezut și au vorbit împotriva mea, dar servitorul tău a meditat la statutele tale.
Rulers also sat and talked against me, but thy servant meditated on thy statutes.
24 Mărturiile tale de asemenea sunt desfătarea mea și sfătuitorii mei. DALET
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.
25 Sufletul meu se lipește de țărână, dă-mi viață conform cuvântului tău.
My soul clings to the dust. Enliven thou me according to thy word.
26 Eu am vestit căile mele și tu m-ai ascultat, învață-mă statutele tale.
I declared my ways, and thou answered me. Teach me thy statutes.
27 Fă-mă să înțeleg calea preceptelor tale, astfel voi vorbi despre minunatele tale lucrări.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts, so I shall meditate on thy wondrous works.
28 Sufletul meu se topește de întristare, întărește-mă conform cuvântului tău.
My soul melts for heaviness. Strengthen thou me according to thy word.
29 Îndepărtează de la mine calea minciunii și dă-mi cu har legea ta.
Remove from me the way of falsehood, and grant me thy law graciously.
30 Eu am ales calea adevărului, am pus judecățile tale înaintea mea.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness. I have set thine ordinances.
31 M-am lipit de mărturiile tale, DOAMNE, nu mă da de rușine.
I cling to thy testimonies. O Jehovah, put me not to shame.
32 Voi alerga pe calea poruncilor tale, când îmi vei lărgi inima. HE
I will run the way of thy commandments when thou shall enlarge my heart.
33 Învață-mă, DOAMNE, calea statutelor tale și o voi ține până la sfârșit.
Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.
34 Dă-mi înțelegere și voi ține legea ta; da, o voi păzi cu întreaga mea inimă.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law, yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Fă-mă să merg pe cărarea poruncilor tale, căci în ea îmi găsesc plăcere.
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments, for therein do I delight.
36 Apleacă-mi inima la mărturiile tale și nu la poftire.
Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Abate ochii mei de la a privi deșertăciune; și dă-mi viață pe calea ta.
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, and enliven me in thy ways.
38 Întemeiază cuvântul tău servitorului tău, care este devotat temerii de tine.
Confirm to thy servant thy word, which is for the fear of thee.
39 Abate ocara mea de care mă tem, fiindcă judecățile tale sunt bune.
Turn away my reproach of which I am afraid, for thine ordinances are good.
40 Iată, am tânjit după preceptele tale, dă-mi viață în dreptatea ta. VAV
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts. Enliven me in thy righteousness.
41 Lasă de asemenea îndurările tale și salvarea ta să vină la mine, DOAMNE, conform cuvântului tău.
Let thy loving kindnesses also come to me, O Jehovah, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 Astfel voi avea cu ce să răspund celui ce mă ocărăște, căci mă încred în cuvântul tău.
So I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in thy word.
43 Și nu lua cuvântul adevărului cu totul din gura mea, pentru că am sperat în judecățile tale.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I have hoped in thine ordinances.
44 Astfel voi ține legea ta continuu pentru totdeauna și întotdeauna.
So shall I observe thy law continually forever and ever.
45 Și voi umbla în libertate, căci eu caut preceptele tale.
And I shall walk at liberty, for I have sought thy precepts.
46 Voi vorbi despre mărturiile tale de asemenea în fața împăraților și nu mă voi rușina.
I also will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and shall not be put to shame.
47 Și mă voi desfăta în poruncile tale, pe care le-am iubit.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 Mâinile mele de asemenea le voi înălța spre poruncile tale, pe care le-am iubit; și voi medita la statutele tale. ZAYIN
I will also lift up my hands to thy commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate on thy statutes.
49 Amintește servitorului tău cuvântul, în care m-ai făcut să sper.
Remember the word to thy servant, because thou have made me to hope.
50 Acesta îmi este mângâierea în necazul meu, căci cuvântul tău mi-a dat viață.
This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word has revived me.
51 Cei mândri m-au luat mult în derâdere, totuși nu m-am abătut de la legea ta.
The proud have had me greatly in derision, yet I have not swerved from thy law.
52 Mi-am amintit de judecățile tale din vechime, DOAMNE, și m-am mângâiat.
I have remembered thine ordinances of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.
53 Groaza m-a cuprins din cauza celor stricați care părăsesc legea ta.
Hot indignation has taken hold upon me because of the wicked who forsake thy law.
54 Statutele tale au fost cântările mele în casa călătoriei mele.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Noaptea mi-am amintit de numele tău, DOAMNE, și am ținut legea ta.
I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, and have observed thy law.

This I have had because I have kept thy precepts.

Jehovah is my portion; I have said that I would observe thy words.

I entreated thy favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to thy word.
59 M-am gândit la căile mele și mi-am întors picioarele spre mărturiile tale.
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
60 M-am grăbit și nu am întârziat să țin poruncile tale.
I made haste, and delayed not, to observe thy commandments.
61 Cetele celor stricați m-au jefuit, dar eu nu am uitat legea ta.
The cords of the wicked have wrapped me around, but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 La miezul nopții mă voi scula să îți aduc mulțumiri datorită judecăților tale drepte.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee because of thy righteous ordinances.
63 Sunt tovarăș tuturor celor ce se tem de tine și celor ce țin preceptele tale.
I am a companion of all those who fear thee, and of those who observe thy precepts.
64 Pământul, DOAMNE, este plin de mila ta, învață-mă statutele tale. TET
The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy loving kindness. Teach me thy statutes.
65 Tu te-ai purtat bine cu servitorul tău, DOAMNE, conform cuvântului tău.
Thou have dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according to thy word.
66 Învață-mă judecată bună și cunoaștere, căci am crezut poruncile tale.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I have believed in thy commandments.
67 Înainte să fiu chinuit am rătăcit, dar acum am ținut cuvântul tău.
Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I observe thy word.
68 Tu ești bun și faci bine; învață-mă statutele tale.
Thou are good, and do good. Teach me thy statutes.
69 Cei mândri au născocit o minciună împotriva mea, dar voi ține preceptele tale cu întreaga mea inimă.
The proud have forged a lie against me. With my whole heart I will keep thy precepts.
70 Inima lor este grasă ca unsoarea; dar eu mă desfăt în legea ta.
Their heart is as fat as grease, but I delight in thy law.
71 Este bine pentru mine că am fost chinuit, ca să învăț statutele tale.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn thy statutes.
72 Legea gurii tale este mai bună pentru mine decât mii de bucăți de aur și argint. IOD
The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Mâinile tale m-au făcut și m-au modelat, dă-mi înțelegere, ca să învăț poruncile tale.
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me. Give me understanding that I may learn thy commandments.
74 Cei ce se tem de tine se vor veseli când mă vor vedea, deoarece am sperat în cuvântul tău.
Those who fear thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hoped in thy word.
75 Știu, DOAMNE, că judecățile tale sunt drepte și că tu în credincioșie m-ai chinuit.
I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness thou have afflicted me.
76 Fie, te rog, bunătatea ta milostivă mângâierea mea, conform cuvântului tău față de servitorul tău.
Let, I pray thee, thy loving kindness be for my comfort according to thy word to thy servant.
77 Să vină la mine îndurările tale blânde, ca să trăiesc, fiindcă legea ta este desfătarea mea.
Let thy tender mercies come to me that I may live, for thy law is my delight.
78 Rușinați fie cei mândri, căci s-au purtat pervers cu mine fără motiv, dar eu voi medita la preceptele tale.
Let the proud be put to shame, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on thy precepts.
79 Să se întoarcă la mine cei ce se tem de tine și cei ce au cunoscut mărturiile tale.
Let those who fear thee turn to me, and they shall know thy testimonies.
80 Inima mea să fie desăvârșită în statutele tale, ca să nu mă rușinez. CAF
Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes that I be not put to shame.
81 Sufletul meu se sfârșește după salvarea ta, dar eu sper în cuvântul tău.
My soul faints for thy salvation. I hope in thy word.
82 Ochii mei se sfârșesc după cuvântul tău, spunând: Când mă vei mângâia?
My eyes fail for thy word, while I say, When will thou comfort me?
83 Căci am devenit ca un burduf în fum; totuși eu nu uit statutele tale.
For I have become like a wine-skin in the smoke. Yet I do not forget thy statutes.
84 Cât de multe sunt zilele servitorului tău? Când vei face judecată asupra celor ce mă persecută?
How many are the days of thy servant? When will thou execute judgment on those who persecute me?
85 Pentru mine au săpat gropi cei mândri, care nu sunt după legea ta.
The proud have dug pits for me, who are not according to thy law.
86 Toate poruncile tale sunt credincioase, ei mă persecută pe nedrept; ajută-mă.
All thy commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help thou me.
87 Aproape că m-au mistuit de pe pământ; dar eu nu am părăsit preceptele tale.
They had almost consumed me upon earth, but I did not forsake thy precepts.
88 Dă-mi viață după bunătatea ta iubitoare; astfel voi ține mărturia gurii tale. LAMED
Revive me according to thy loving kindness, so I shall observe the testimony of thy mouth.
89 Pentru totdeauna, DOAMNE, cuvântul tău este întemeiat în cer.
Forever, O Jehovah, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Credincioșia ta este spre toate generațiile, tu ai întemeiat pământul și el dăinuiește.
Thy faithfulness is to all generations. Thou have established the earth, and it abides.
91 Ei dăinuiesc până astăzi conform rânduielilor tale, căci toți sunt servitorii tăi.
They abide this day according to thine ordinances, for all things are thy servants.
92 Dacă legea ta nu ar fi fost desfătările mele, atunci aș fi pierit în necazul meu.
Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in my affliction.
93 Nu voi uita niciodată preceptele tale, căci cu ele mi-ai dat viață.
I will never forget thy precepts, for with them thou have enlivened me.
94 Eu sunt al tău, salvează-mă, fiindcă am căutat preceptele tale.
I am thine. Save me, for I have sought thy precepts.
95 Cei stricați m-au așteptat pentru a mă nimici, dar eu voi lua aminte la mărturiile tale.
The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider thy testimonies.
96 Am văzut un sfârșit a toată perfecțiunea, dar porunca ta este foarte întinsă. MEM
I have seen an end of all perfection. Thy commandment is exceedingly broad.
97 Cât de mult iubesc legea ta! Ea este meditația mea toată ziua.
O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
98 Prin poruncile tale m-ai făcut mai înțelept decât dușmanii mei, căci ele sunt totdeauna cu mine.
Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.
99 Am mai multă înțelegere decât toți învățătorii mei, fiindcă mărturiile tale sunt meditația mea.
I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 Înțeleg mai mult decât bătrânii, pentru că eu țin preceptele tale.
I understand more than the aged because I have kept thy precepts.
101 Mi-am înfrânat picioarele de la fiecare cale rea, ca să țin cuvântul tău.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might observe thy word.
102 Nu m-am depărtat de judecățile tale, pentru că tu m-ai învățat.
I have not turned aside from thine ordinances, for thou have taught me.
103 Cât de dulci sunt cuvintele tale pentru cerul gurii mele! Mai dulci decât mierea pentru gura mea!
How sweet are thy words to my taste, than honey to my mouth!
104 Prin preceptele tale obțin înțelegere, de aceea urăsc toată calea mincinoasă. NUN
Through thy precepts I get understanding. Therefore I hate every false way.
105 Cuvântul tău este o lampă pentru picioarele mele și o lumină pentru cărarea mea.
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and light to my path.
106 Am jurat că voi ține judecățile tale drepte și le voi împlini.
I have sworn, and have confirmed it, that I will observe thy righteous ordinances.
107 Sunt foarte nenorocit; dă-mi viață, DOAMNE, conform cuvântului tău.
I am afflicted very much. Revive me, O Jehovah, according to thy word.
108 Te implor, DOAMNE, primește ofrandele de bunăvoie ale gurii mele și învață-mă judecățile tale.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah, and teach me thine ordinances.
109 Sufletul meu este continuu în mâna mea, totuși eu nu uit legea ta.
My soul is continually in my hand, yet I do not forget thy law.
110 Cei stricați mi-au întins o capcană, totuși nu m-am rătăcit de la preceptele tale.
The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I have not gone astray from thy precepts.
111 Mărturiile tale le-am luat ca pe o moștenire pentru totdeauna, fiindcă ele sunt bucuria inimii mele.
I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 Mi-am aplecat inima să împlinesc statutele tale întotdeauna, până la sfârșit. SAMEC
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes forever, even to the end.
113 Urăsc gândurile deșarte, dar iubesc legea ta.
I hate those who are of a double mind, but I love thy law.
114 Tu ești ascunzișul meu și scutul meu, eu sper în cuvântul tău.
Thou are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in thy word.
115 Plecați de la mine, voi făcători de rău, căci voi ține poruncile Dumnezeului meu.
Depart from me, ye evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.
116 Susține-mă conform cuvântului tău, ca să trăiesc; și nu mă lăsa să fiu făcut de rușine datorită speranței mele.
Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 Susține-mă și voi fi în siguranță și voi respecta statutele tale continuu.
Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe, and shall have respect for thy statutes continually.
118 Tu ai călcat în picioare pe toți cei ce rătăcesc de la statutele tale, pentru că înșelătoria lor este falsitate.
Thou have set at nothing all those who err from thy statutes, for their deceit is falsehood.
119 Tu pui deoparte precum zgura pe toți cei stricați ai pământului, de aceea eu iubesc mărturiile tale.
Thou put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love thy testimonies.
120 Carnea mea tremură de teama de tine; și mă tem de judecățile tale. AYIN
My flesh trembles for fear of thee, and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Eu am făcut judecată și justiție; nu mă lăsa la voia opresorilor mei.
I have done justice and righteousness. Leave me not to my oppressors.
122 Fii garant pentru servitorul tău pentru bine, nu lăsa pe cei mândri să mă oprime.
Be surety for thy servant for good. Let not the proud oppress me.
123 Ochii mei se sfârșesc după salvarea ta și după cuvântul dreptății tale.
My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.
124 Poartă-te cu servitorul tău conform milei tale și învață-mă statutele tale.
Deal with thy servant according to thy loving kindness, and teach me thy statutes.
125 Eu sunt servitorul tău; dă-mi înțelegere, ca să cunosc mărturiile tale.
I am thy servant. Give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
126 Este timpul să lucrezi, DOAMNE, pentru că ei au făcut legea ta fără efect.
It is time for Jehovah to work. They have made void thy law.
127 De aceea iubesc poruncile tale mai mult decât aurul; da, mai mult decât aurul pur.
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
128 De aceea socotesc toate preceptele tale ca fiind drepte; și urăsc toată calea mincinoasă. PE
Therefore I esteem all precepts concerning all things to be right. I hate every false way.
129 Mărturiile tale sunt minunate, de aceea sufletul meu le ține.
Thy testimonies are wonderful, therefore my soul keeps them.
130 Intrarea cuvintelor tale dă lumină; ea dă înțelegere celui simplu.
The opening of thy words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.
131 Mi-am deschis gura și am sorbit, căci am tânjit după poruncile tale.
I opened wide my mouth, and panted, for I longed for thy commandments.
132 Uită-te la mine și fii milostiv cu mine, așa cum ai obișnuit să faci celor ce iubesc numele tău.
Turn thee to me, and have mercy upon me, as thou used to do to those who love thy name.
133 Rânduiește-mi pașii în cuvântul tău și nicio nelegiuire să nu domnească asupra mea.
Establish my footsteps in thy word, and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Eliberează-mă de oprimarea omului, astfel voi ține preceptele tale.
Redeem me from the oppression of man, so I will observe thy precepts.
135 Fă să strălucească fața ta peste servitorul tău; și învață-mă statutele tale.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
136 Râuri de ape curg din ochii mei, pentru că ei nu țin legea ta. ȚADI
Streams of water run down my eyes, because they do not observe thy law.
137 Drept ești tu, DOAMNE, și integre sunt judecățile tale.
Thou are righteous, O Jehovah, and upright are thy judgments.
138 Mărturiile tale, pe care le-ai poruncit, sunt drepte și foarte credincioase.
Thou have commanded thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
139 Zelul meu m-a mistuit, pentru că dușmanii mei au uitat cuvintele tale.
My zeal has consumed me, because my adversaries have forgotten thy words.
140 Cuvântul tău este foarte pur, de aceea servitorul tău îl iubește.
Thy word is very pure, therefore thy servant loves it.
141 Eu sunt mic și disprețuit, totuși nu uit preceptele tale.
I am small and despised. I do not forget thy precepts.
142 Dreptatea ta este o dreptate veșnică și legea ta este adevărul.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.
143 Tulburare și chin m-au cuprins, totuși poruncile tale sunt desfătările mele.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me. Thy commandments are my delight.
144 Dreptatea mărturiilor tale este veșnică, dă-mi înțelegere și voi trăi. KOF
Thy testimonies are righteous forever. Give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 Am strigat cu întreaga mea inimă; ascultă-mă, DOAMNE, eu voi ține statutele tale.
I have called with my whole heart. Answer me, O Jehovah. I will keep thy statutes.

I have called to thee. Save me, and I shall observe thy testimonies.
147 Am întâmpinat răsăritul dimineții și am strigat, am sperat în cuvântul tău.
I anticipated the dawning of the morning, and cried. I hoped in thy words.
148 Ochii mei întâmpină gărzile nopții, ca să meditez la cuvântul tău.
My eyes anticipated the night-watches that I might meditate on thy word.
149 Ascultă-mi vocea conform bunătății tale iubitoare, DOAMNE, dă-mi viață conform judecății tale.
Hear my voice according to thy loving kindness. Enliven me, O Jehovah, according to thine ordinances.
150 Se apropie cei ce urmăresc ticăloșie, ei sunt departe de legea ta.
They draw near who follow after wickedness. They are far from thy law.
151 Tu ești aproape, DOAMNE; și toate poruncile tale sunt adevăr.
Thou are near, O Jehovah, and all thy commandments are truth.
152 Referitor la mărturiile tale, am știut din vechime că tu le-ai fondat pentru totdeauna. REȘ
Of old I have known from thy testimonies that thou have founded them forever.
153 Ia aminte la necazul meu și eliberează-mă, căci nu uit legea ta.
Consider my affliction, and deliver me, for I do not forget thy law.
154 Pledează în cauza mea și eliberează-mă, dă-mi viață conform cuvântului tău.
Plead thou my cause, and redeem me. Enliven me according to thy word.
155 Salvarea este departe de cei stricați, căci ei nu caută statutele tale.
Salvation is far from the wicked, for they seek not thy statutes.
156 Mari sunt îndurările tale blânde, DOAMNE, dă-mi viață conform judecăților tale.
Great are thy tender mercies, O Jehovah. Enliven me according to thine ordinances.
157 Mulți sunt persecutorii mei și dușmanii mei; totuși nu mă abat de la mărturiile tale.
Many are my persecutors and my adversaries. I have not swerved from thy testimonies.

I beheld the treacherous, and was grieved because they do not observe thy word.

Consider how I love thy precepts. Enliven me, O Jehovah, according to thy loving kindness.

Rulers have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of thy words.
162 Mă bucur la cuvântul tău, ca unul ce găsește mare pradă.
I rejoice at thy word, as he who finds great spoil.
163 Urăsc și detest minciuna, dar iubesc legea ta.
I hate and abhor falsehood. I love thy law.
164 De șapte ori pe zi te laud datorită judecăților tale drepte.
Seven times a day I praise thee because of thy righteous ordinances.
165 Multă pace au cei ce iubesc legea ta și nimic nu îi va poticni.
Great peace have those who love thy law, and they have no occasion of stumbling.
166 DOAMNE, eu am sperat în salvarea ta și am împlinit poruncile tale.
I have hoped for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and have done thy commandments.
167 Sufletul meu a ținut mărturiile tale și le iubesc peste măsură.
My soul has observed thy testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.

Let my cry come near before thee, O Jehovah. Give me understanding according to thy word.
170 Să ajungă cererea mea înaintea ta, eliberează-mă conform cuvântului tău.
Let my supplication come before thee. Deliver me according to thy word.
171 Buzele mele vor rosti laudă, când mă vei învăța statutele tale.
Let my lips utter praise, for thou teach me thy statutes.
172 Limba mea va vorbi despre cuvântul tău, pentru că toate poruncile tale sunt dreptate.
Let my tongue sing of thy word, for all thy commandments are righteousness.
173 Mâna ta să mă ajute, pentru că am ales preceptele tale.
Let thy hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen thy precepts.
174 Am tânjit după salvarea ta, DOAMNE, și legea ta este desfătarea mea.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and thy law is my delight.
175 Lasă sufletul meu să trăiască și te va lăuda; și lasă judecățile tale să mă ajute.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee. And let thine ordinances help me.
176 Am rătăcit ca o oaie pierdută; caută pe servitorul tău, pentru că nu uit poruncile tale.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek thy servant, for I do not forget thy commandments.
