Neemia 7
1 Și s-a întâmplat, după ce zidul a fost construit și eu am așezat ușile și portarii și cântăreții și leviții au fost rânduiți,
And it came to pass, when the wall was built, that I set up the doors; and then were appointed the gatekeepers and the singers and the [other] Levites [to their office].
2 Că am dat fratelui meu Hanani și lui Hanania, conducătorul palatului, sarcina asupra Ierusalimului: pentru că era om credincios și se temea de Dumnezeu mai mult decât alții.
And I gave my brother Chanani, and Chananyah the commander of the fortress, charge over Jerusalem; for he was esteemed a faithful man, and one that feared God these many days.
3 Și le-am spus: Să nu fie porțile Ierusalimului deschise până soarele nu va fi arzător; și în timp ce ei stau acolo, să închidă ușile și să le zăvorască; și să rânduiască gărzi dintre locuitorii Ierusalimului, fiecare la garda lui și fiecare să fie în dreptul casei lui.
And I said unto them, The gates of Jerusalem must not be opened until the sun be hot; and while ye stand by, let them shut the doors, and do ye bar them; and station watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one opposite to his house.
4 Și cetatea era întinsă și mare, dar poporul era puțin în ea și casele nu erau construite.
But the city was roomy in space and large: while the people therein were few, and the houses were not yet built.
5 Și Dumnezeul meu a pus în inima mea să adun pe nobili și pe conducători și pe popor, ca să fie socotiți prin genealogie. Și am găsit un registru al genealogiei celor care se urcaseră întâi și am găsit scris în el,
Then did my God put it into my heart, and I assembled together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might give in their genealogy; and I found a register of the genealogy of those who were come up at the first, and I found written therein:
6 Aceștia sunt copiii provinciei, care s-au urcat din captivitate, dintre cei care fuseseră duși în captivitate, pe care Nebucadnețar, împăratul Babilonului, i-a dus, și care s-au întors la Ierusalim și în Iuda, fiecare la cetatea lui;
These arc the children of the province, that came up out of the captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried into exile, and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his own city;
7 Care au venit cu Zorobabel, Ieșua, Neemia, Azaria, Raamia, Nahamani, Mardoheu, Bilșan, Misperet, Bigvai, Nehum, Baana. Numărul, spun eu, al bărbaților poporului lui Israel era acesta:
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua', Nehemiah, 'Azaryah, Ra'amyah, Nachamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Misspereth, Bigvai, Nechum, Ba'anah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was:
8 Copiii lui Pareoș, două mii o sută șaptezeci și doi.
The children of Par'osh, two thousand one hundred and seventy and two.
9 Copiii lui Șefatia, trei sute șaptezeci și doi.
The children of Shephatyah, three hundred seventy and two.
10 Copiii lui Arah, șase sute cincizeci și doi.
The children of Arach, six hundred fifty and two.
11 Copiii lui Pahat-Moab, dintre copiii lui Ieșua și ai lui Ioab, două mii opt sute optsprezece.
The children of Pachath-moab, of the children of Jeshua' and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
12 Copiii lui Elam, o mie două sute cincizeci și patru.
The children of 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
13 Copiii lui Zatu, opt sute patruzeci și cinci.
The children of Zatthu, eight hundred forty and five.
14 Copiii lui Zacai, șapte sute șaizeci.
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
15 Copiii lui Binui, șase sute patruzeci și opt.
The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.
16 Copiii lui Bebai, șase sute douăzeci și opt.
The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.
17 Copiii lui Azgad, două mii trei sute douăzeci și doi.
The children of 'Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.
18 Copiii lui Adonicam, șase sute șaizeci și șapte.
The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and seven.
19 Copiii lui Bigvai, două mii șaizeci și șapte.
The children of Bigvai, two thousand sixty and seven.
20 Copiii lui Adin, șase sute cincizeci și cinci.
The children of 'Adin, six hundred fifty and five.
21 Copiii lui Ater din Ezechia, nouăzeci și opt.
The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.
22 Copiii lui Hașum, trei sute douăzeci și opt.
The children of Chashum, three hundred twenty and eight.
23 Copiii lui Bețai, trei sute douăzeci și patru.

24 Copiii lui Harif, o sută doisprezece.

25 Copiii lui Gabaon, nouăzeci și cinci.

The men of Kiryath-ye'arim, Kephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty and three.
30 Bărbații din Rama și din Gheba, șase sute douăzeci și unu.
The men of Ramah and Gaba', six hundred twenty and one,
31 Bărbații din Micmas, o sută douăzeci și doi.
The men of Michmass, one hundred twenty and two.
32 Bărbații din Betel și din Ai, o sută douăzeci și trei.
The men of Beth-el and 'Ai, one hundred twenty and three.
33 Bărbații celuilalt Nebo, cincizeci și doi.
The men of the other Nebo, fifty and two.
34 Copiii celuilalt Elam, o mie două sute cincizeci și patru.
The children of the other 'Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty and four.
35 Copiii lui Harim, trei sute douăzeci.
The children of Charim, three hundred and twenty.
36 Copiii Ierihonului, trei sute patruzeci și cinci.
The people of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.
37 Copiii lui Lod, ai lui Hadid și ai lui Ono, șapte sute douăzeci și unu.
The people of Lod, Chadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty and one.
38 Copiii lui Sena, trei mii nouă sute treizeci.
The people of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

The priests: the children of Jeda'yah, of the house of Jeshua', nine hundred seventy and three.

41 Copiii lui Pașhur, o mie două sute patruzeci și șapte.
The children of Pashchur, one thousand two hundred forty and seven.

The gatekeepers: The children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of 'Akkub, the children of Chatita, the children of Shobai, one hundred thirty and eight.

The temple-servants: The children of Zicha, the children of Chassupha, the children of Tabba'oth,
47 Copiii lui Cheros, copiii lui Sia, copiii lui Padon,
The children of Keross, the children of Si'a, the children of Padon,
48 Copiii lui Lebana, copiii lui Hagaba, copiii lui Șalmai,
The children of Lebana, the children of Chagaba, the children of Salmai,
49 Copiii lui Hanan, copiii lui Ghidel, copiii lui Gahar,
The children of Chanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gachar,
50 Copiii lui Reaia, copiii lui Rețin, copiii lui Necoda,
The children of Reayah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda.
51 Copiii lui Gazam, copiii lui Uza, copiii lui Paseah,
The children of Gazzam, the children of 'Uzza, the children of Passeach.
52 Copiii lui Besai, copiii lui Meunim, copiii lui Nefișesim,
The children of Bessai, the children of Me'unim, the children of Nephishessim,
53 Copiii lui Bacbuc, copiii lui Hacufa, copiii lui Harhur,
The children of Bakbuk, the children of Chakupha, the children of Charchur.
54 Copiii lui Bațlit, copiii lui Mehida, copiii lui Harșa,
The children of Bazlith, the children of Mechida, the children of Charsha,
55 Copiii lui Barcos, copiii lui Sisera, copiii lui Tamah,
The children of Barkoss, the children of Sissera, the children of Thamach,
56 Copiii lui Nețiah, copiii lui Hatifa.
The children of Neziach, the children of Chatipha.
57 Copiii servitorilor lui Solomon: copiii lui Sotai, copiii lui Soferet, copiii lui Perida,
The children of Solomon's servants: The children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 Copiii lui Iaala, copiii lui Darcon, copiii lui Ghidel,
The children of Ya'ala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 Copiii lui Șefatia, copiii lui Hatil, copiii lui Pocheret-Hațebaim, copiii lui Amon.
The children of Shephatyah, the children of Chattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebayim, the children of Amon.
60 Toți netinimii și copiii servitorilor lui Solomon, erau trei sute nouăzeci și doi.
All the temple-servants, and the children of Solomon' servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
61 Și aceștia au fost cei care au urcat de asemenea de la Tel-Melah, Tel-Harșa, Cherub, Adon și Imer; dar ei nu au putut arăta casa tatălui lor, nici sămânța lor, dacă erau din Israel.
And these were they who came up from Thel-melach, Thelcharsha, Kerub, Addon, and Immer, but they could not tell their family division and their descent, whether they were of Israel.
62 Copiii lui Delaia, copiii lui Tobia, copiii lui Necoda, șase sute patruzeci și doi.
The children of Delayah, the children of Tobiyah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
63 Și dintre preoți: Copiii lui Hobaia, copiii lui Hacoț, copiii lui Barzilai, care a luat pe una dintre fiicele lui Barzilai galaaditul, de soție, și a fost numit după numele lor.
And of the priests: The children of Chobayah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai who had taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gil'adite, and was called after their name.
64 Aceștia și-au căutat înregistrarea printre cei care au fost socotiți prin genealogie, dar ea nu s-a găsit; de aceea au fost îndepărtați din preoție, ca întinați.
These sought for their family register, but it was not found: wherefore they were excluded, as unfit, from the priesthood.
65 Și Tirșata le-a spus să nu mănânce din lucrurile preasfinte, până nu va sta în picioare un preot cu Urim și Tumim.
And the Thirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with the Urim and Thummim.
66 Toată adunarea împreună era de patruzeci și două de mii trei sute șaizeci,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty:
67 În afară de servitorii lor și de servitoarele lor, dintre care erau șapte mii trei sute treizeci și șapte; și aveau două sute patruzeci și cinci de cântăreți și cântărețe.
Besides these were their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred and forty and five singing men and singing women.
68 Caii lor, șapte sute treizeci și șase; catârii lor, două sute patruzeci și cinci;
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
69 Cămilele lor, patru sute treizeci și cinci; șase mii șapte sute douăzeci de măgari.
[Their] camels, four hundred thirty and five: [their] asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
70 Și unii dintre mai marii părinților au dat pentru lucrare. Tirșata a dat pentru tezaur o mie de drahme de aur, cincizeci de oale, cinci sute treizeci de haine preoțești.
And a portion of the chiefs of the divisions gave unto the work. The Thirshatha gave to the treasure, of gold one thousand drachms, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty coats for the priests.
71 Și unii dintre mai marii părinților au dat pentru tezaurul lucrării douăzeci de mii de drahme de aur și două mii două sute de mine de argint.
And some of the chiefs of the divisions gave to the treasury of the work, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand and two hundred manehs.
72 Și ceea ce restul poporului a dat a fost douăzeci de mii de drahme de aur și două mii două sute de mine de argint și șaizeci și șapte de haine preoțești.
And what the rest of the people gave was, of gold twenty thousand drachms, and of silver two thousand manehs, and priests coats sixty and seven.
73 Astfel preoții și leviții și portarii și cântăreții și unii din popor și netinimii și tot Israelul au locuit în cetățile lor; și când a venit luna a șaptea, copiii lui Israel erau în cetățile lor.
So the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and some of the people, and the temple-servants, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities: and so came round the seventh month, while the children of Israel were in their cities.
