Mica 2
1 Vai celor ce plănuiesc nelegiuire și fac răutate pe paturile lor! Când dimineața se luminează, ei o împlinesc, fiindcă este în puterea mâinii lor.
How disastrous it will be for those who devise evil plans as they lie awake at night. They get up in the morning to carry them out, because they have the power to do just that.
2 Și ei poftesc câmpii și le iau prin violență; și case, și le iau; astfel ei oprimă pe om și casa lui, chiar pe om și moștenirea lui.
They seize any fields they want. They take any houses they want. They cheat people of their houses, and steal their inheritance.
3 De aceea astfel spune DOMNUL: Iată, împotriva acestei familii, eu plănuiesc un rău, de la care nu vă veți feri gâturile, nici nu veți merge trufași, căci timpul acesta este rău.
So this is what the Lord says. Watch out! I am planning to bring disaster on such families. They won't be able to escape. You will no longer walk around arrogantly, for this will be a time of disaster.
4 În acea zi, cineva va ridica o parabolă împotriva ta și va plânge cu plângere jalnică și va spune: Noi suntem prădați în întregime, el a schimbat partea de moștenire a poporului meu, cum a luat-o el de la mine! Întorcându-se, el ne-a împărțit câmpiile.
On that day they will make up a saying to taunt you. With a mocking lament they will say, “We are totally ruined! Our possessions are being sold off. They've taken everything away, and given our fields to your conquerors.”
5 De aceea tu nu vei avea pe nimeni în adunarea DOMNULUI care să arunce o funie de măsurat prin sorț.
Consequently at that time there will be none of you in the assembly of the Lord responsible for the division of the land.
6 Nu profețiți, spuneți-le celor ce profețesc: ei nu le vor profeți, ca să nu le fie rușine.
But you preach at me, saying, “Don't preach such things. Don't prophesy like this. Such a humiliation won't happen to us!”
7 Tu, cea numită casa lui Iacob, este duhul DOMNULUI strâmtorat? Sunt acestea lucrările lui? Nu fac bine cuvintele mele celui ce umblă cu integritate?
Should you talk like that, descendants of Jacob? You ask, “Can the Lord run out of patience? Is this what he does?” Are not my words good to those who do what is right? asks the Lord.
8 Chiar de curând poporul meu s-a ridicat ca un dușman: voi smulgeți roba cu tot cu cămașă de la cei ce trec în siguranță, ca și oameni care se întorc de la război.
Lately my people have risen up against me like an enemy. You steal the coats off the backs of those passing by, men returning from war who expect to be safe in their homeland.
9 Ați aruncat afară din casele lor plăcute pe femeile poporului meu; ați luat pentru totdeauna gloria mea de la copiii lor.
You drive the women of my people from their comfortable homes; you have robbed their children of my blessings forever.
10 Ridicați-vă și îndepărtați-vă; fiindcă aceasta nu este odihna voastră: fiindcă este întinată, vă va nimici, chiar cu o nimicire grozavă.
Get up! Leave! For this is not a place for you to stay. It is defiled and totally ruined.
11 Dacă un om, umblând în duh și în falsitate, minte, spunând: Eu vă voi profeți despre vin și băutură tare; el va fi profetul acestui popor.
If a false prophet should come to you and lie, saying, “I'll preach to you about the virtues of wine and alcohol,” he would be the perfect prophet for your kind of people.
12 Eu îi voi aduna negreșit pe toți ai tăi, Iacobe; eu voi strânge negreșit rămășița lui Israel; eu îi voi pune împreună ca oile lui Boțra, ca turma în mijlocul staulului ei, ei vor face zgomot mare din cauza mulțimii oamenilor.
I will certainly gather all of you, descendants of Jacob, I will certainly bring back together those who are left, Israel. I will place them like sheep in the fold, like a flock in its pasture. The land will be filled with people celebrating.
13 Cel care zdrobește a venit înaintea lor; au fost zdrobiți și au trecut prin poartă și au ieșit pe ea; și împăratul lor va trece înaintea lor și DOMNUL în fruntea lor.
The One who opens the way for them will lead them, breaking through the gate and going out. Their King will lead them; the Lord himself will be at their head.
