Mica 1
1 Cuvântul DOMNULUI care a venit la Mica, morașitul, în zilele lui Iotam, Ahaz și Ezechia, împărați ai lui Iuda, pe care el l-a văzut referitor la Samaria și Ierusalim.
The word of Yahweh which came unto Micah the Morashtite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, —of which he had vision concerning Samaria, and Jerusalem: —
2 Ascultați, toți oamenii; dă ascultare pământule și tot ce este pe tine, și Domnul DUMNEZEU să fie martor împotriva voastră, Domnul din templul lui sfânt.
Hear ye peoples, all of you, Hearken, O earth and the fulness thereof, —and let My Lord Yahweh be among you for a witness, My Lord out of his holy temple.
3 Fiindcă, iată, DOMNUL iese din locul lui și va coborî și va călca în picioare înălțimile pământului.
For lo! Yahweh, coming forth out of his place, —that he may descend, and march along upon the high places of the earth.
4 Și munții se vor topi sub el și văile, ca ceara înaintea focului, se vor despica și ca apele turnate dintr-o râpă.
Then shall the mountains be melted beneath him, and, the valleys, be cleft, —as wax before the fire, as waters poured out in a steep place.
5 Toate acestea sunt pentru păcatul lui Iacob și pentru păcatele casei lui Israel. Care este păcatul lui Iacob? Nu este Samaria? Și care sunt locurile înalte ale lui Iuda? Nu sunt ele Ierusalimul?
For the transgression of Jacob, is all this, and for the sin of the house of Israel, —Whose is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria’s? And whose is the sin of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
6 De aceea voi face Samaria ca o movilă de pe câmp și ca plantații de vii; și voi rostogoli pietrele ei în vale și îi voi dezveli temeliile.
Therefore will I make of Samaria a heap in a field, the plantings in a vineyard, —and I will pour down, into the valley, her stones, and, her foundations, will I lay bare;
7 Și toate chipurile ei cioplite vor fi zdrobite în bucăți și toate darurile ei vor fi arse cu foc și toți idolii ei îi voi lăsa pustii, căci ea a adunat din plata curvei și se vor întoarce la plata curvei.
And, all her images, shall be beaten in pieces, and, all her rewards for unchastity, shall be burned in the fire, and, all her idols, will I make a desolation, —for, out of the reward of unchastity, she gathered [them], and, unto the reward of unchastity, shall they return.
8 De aceea eu voi boci și voi urla, voi umbla dezbrăcat și gol; voi face bocet ca dragonii și voi jeli ca bufnițele.
For this cause, will I lament and howl, I will go stript and bare, —I will make a lamentation, like the wild dogs, and a mourning, like ostriches.
9 Fiindcă rana ei este incurabilă; fiindcă a venit la Iuda; a venit la poarta poporului meu, la Ierusalim.
For dangerous are her wounds, —for she hath come as far as Judah, she hath reached as far as the gate of my people, as far as Jerusalem.
10 Nu spuneți aceasta la Gat, nu plângeți deloc; în casa lui Afra rostogolește-te în țărână.
In Gath, do not tell, in Accho, do not weep, —in Beth-l’aphrah, roll yourselves in dust.
11 Treceți! Tu locuitor al Safirului, având rușinea ta dezgolită; locuitorul lui Țaanan nu a venit la jelirea lui Bet-Ețel; el va primi adăpost de la tine.
Pass thou over (for you), thou inhabitress of Shaphir, of disgraceful disclosure, —the inhabitress of Zaanan, hath not gone forth, at the lamentation of Beth-ezel, shall he take from you his station,
12 Fiindcă locuitorul Marotului a așteptat cu grijă binele; dar răul a coborât de la DOMNUL la poarta Ierusalimului.
Though the inhabitress of Maroth waited for blessing, —yet there came down calamity from Yahweh, to the gate of Jerusalem.
13 O, tu locuitor din Lachiș, înhamă animalul iute la car, ea este începutul păcatului fiicei Sionului, fiindcă păcatele Israelului s-au găsit în tine.
Bind the chariot to the steed, O inhabitress of Lachish, —the beginning of sin, was she to the daughter of Zion, for, in thee, have been found the transgressions of Israel.
14 De aceea tu vei da daruri Moreșet-Gatului: casele lui Aczib vor fi o minciună împăraților lui Israel.
Therefore, shalt thou give a dismission, against Moresheth-gath, —The houses of Achzib, served for a deception to the kings of Israel.
15 Totuși eu îți voi aduce un moștenitor, locuitor al Mareșahului, gloria lui Israel va ajunge până la Adulam.
The time shall yet be when, the heir, I will bring unto thee, O inhabitress of Mareshah, —as far as Adullam, shall enter the glory of Israel.
16 Chelește-te și tunde-te pentru copiii desfătărilor tale; mărește-ți chelia ca acvila; fiindcă ei sunt plecați de la tine în captivitate.
Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair, for the children of thy pleasures, —enlarge thy baldness, like a vulture, for they are exiled from thee.
