Matei 22
1 Și Isus a răspuns și le-a vorbit din nou prin parabole și spunea:
Yeshua [Salvation] answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying,
2 Împărăția cerului se aseamănă cu un anumit împărat, care a făcut nuntă fiului său;
“The Kingdom of Heaven (God) is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,
3 Și a trimis pe robii săi să cheme pe cei invitați la nuntă; dar aceștia au refuzat să vină.
and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come.
4 Din nou a trimis alți robi, zicând: Spuneți celor ce au fost invitați: Iată, am pregătit prânzul meu; boii mei și dobitoacele îngrășate sunt tăiate și toate lucrurile sunt gata; veniți la nuntă.
Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!”’
5 Dar, fără să le pese, au plecat, unul la câmpul lui, altul la comerțul lui.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
6 Și ceilalți au pus mâna pe robii lui; și i-au ocărât și i-au ucis.
and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
7 Dar când a auzit împăratul, s-a înfuriat; și și-a trimis oștirile și a nimicit pe acei ucigași și le-a ars cetatea.
When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 Apoi a spus robilor săi: Nunta este gata; dar cei ce au fost invitați nu au fost demni.
“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
9 De aceea duceți-vă la drumurile mari și chemați la nuntă cât de mulți veți găsi.
Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.’
10 Și acei robi au ieșit la drumurile mari și au adunat pe toți câți au găsit, deopotrivă răi și buni; și nunta a fost umplută de oaspeți.
Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
11 Și când împăratul a intrat să vadă oaspeții, a văzut acolo un om care nu era îmbrăcat cu haină de nuntă.
But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding clothing,
12 Și i-a spus: Prietene, cum ai intrat aici neavând haină de nuntă? Dar el era fără cuvinte.
and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
13 Atunci împăratul a spus servitorilor: Legați-i mâinile și picioarele și luați-l și aruncați-l în întunericul de afară; acolo va fi plânsul și scrâșnirea dinților.
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
14 Fiindcă mulți sunt chemați, dar puțini aleși.
For many are called, but few chosen.”
15 Atunci fariseii s-au dus și au ținut sfat cum să îl prindă în cuvinte.
Then the Pharisees [Separated] went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
16 Și au trimis la el pe discipolii lor cu irodienii, spunând: Învățătorule, știm că ești adevărat și [îi] înveți pe oameni calea lui Dumnezeu în adevăr și nu îți pasă de nimeni; fiindcă nu te uiți la fața oamenilor.
They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you are not partial to anyone.
17 Spune-ne atunci: Ce părere ai? Este legiuit a da taxă Cezarului, sau nu?
Tell us what you think: Does Torah ·Teaching· permit paying taxes to Caesar [Ruler], or not?”
18 Dar Isus pricepând stricăciunea lor, a spus: De ce mă ispitiți, fățarnicilor?
But Yeshua [Salvation] perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
19 Arătați-mi moneda pentru taxă. Și i-au adus un dinar.
Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius [one day’s wage].
20 Iar el le-a spus: Al cui este acest chip și inscripție?
He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
21 Iar ei i-au spus: Al Cezarului. Atunci el le-a spus: De aceea dați Cezarului cele ale Cezarului și lui Dumnezeu cele ale lui Dumnezeu.
They said to him, “Caesar’s [Ruler]’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar [Ruler] the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
22 Când au auzit, s-au minunat și l-au lăsat și s-au dus.
When they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went away.
23 În aceeași zi au venit la el saducheii, care spun că nu este înviere și l-au întrebat,
On that day Sadducees [Morally-upright] (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him hard questions,
24 Spunând: Învățătorule, Moise a spus: Dacă moare un bărbat neavând copii, fratele lui să se căsătorească cu soția lui și să ridice sămânță fratelui său.
saying, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, Moses [Drawn out] said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up offspring for his brother.’
25 Și erau cu noi șapte frați: și primul, după ce s-a căsătorit, a murit; și neavând sămânță a lăsat pe soția lui fratelui său.
Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
26 Tot așa și al doilea și al treilea, până la al șaptelea.
In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
27 Și la urma tuturor a murit și femeia.
After them all, the woman died.
28 La înviere așadar, căruia din cei șapte îi va fi ea soție? Fiindcă toți au avut-o.
In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
29 Isus a răspuns și le-a zis: Vă rătăciți, necunoscând nici scripturile, nici puterea lui Dumnezeu.
But Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 Fiindcă la înviere nici nu se vor însura, nici nu se vor mărita, ci sunt ca îngerii lui Dumnezeu în cer.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
31 Dar în legătură cu învierea morților, nu ați citit ce v-a fost rostit de Dumnezeu, zicând:
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
32 Eu sunt Dumnezeul lui Avraam și Dumnezeul lui Isaac și Dumnezeul lui Iacob? Dumnezeu nu este Dumnezeul celor morți, ci al celor vii.
‘I am the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], and the God of Isaac [Laughter], and the God of Jacob [Supplanter]?’ God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
33 Și când mulțimile au auzit, au fost înmărmurite de doctrina lui.
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 Dar când au auzit fariseii că a astupat gura saducheilor, s-au adunat împreună.
But the Pharisees [Separated], when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees [Morally-upright], gathered themselves together.
35 Atunci unul dintre ei, un învățător al legii, l-a întrebat, ispitindu-l și spunând:
One of them, a Torah-expert, asked him a question, testing him.
36 Învățătorule, care este marea poruncă în lege?
“Rabbi ·Teacher·, which of the mitzvot ·instructions· in the Torah ·Teaching· is the most important?”
37 Iar Isus i-a spus: Să iubești pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău cu toată inima ta și cu tot sufletul tău și cu toată mintea ta.
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “‘You shall have agapao ·total devotion love· to MarYah [Master Yahweh] your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 Aceasta este prima și marea poruncă.
This is the greatest and most important mitzvah ·instruction·.
39 Și a doua, asemenea ei: Să iubești pe aproapele tău ca pe tine însuți.
A second likewise is this, ‘You shall show agapao ·total devoted love· to your neighbor as yourself.’
40 De aceste două porunci atârnă toată legea și profeții.
All of the Torah ·Teaching· and the Prophets depend on these two mitzvot ·instructions·.”
41 Pe când fariseii erau adunați, Isus i-a întrebat,
Now while the Pharisees [Separated] were gathered together, Yeshua [Salvation] asked them a question,
42 Spunând: Ce gândiți voi despre Cristos? Al cui fiu este? Iar ei i-au spus: Al lui David.
saying, “What do you think of the Messiah [Anointed one]? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David [Beloved].”
43 Iar el le-a spus: Cum atunci David, în duh, îl numește, Domn, spunând:
He said to them, “How then does David [Beloved] in haRuach [the Spirit, Breath] call him MarYah [Master Yahweh], saying,
44 DOMNUL a spus Domnului meu: Șezi la dreapta mea, până fac pe dușmanii tăi sprijinul piciorului tău?
‘Yahweh said to 'adoni ·my Lord·, sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet’?
45 Dacă atunci David îl numește Domn, cum este fiul lui?
“If then David [Beloved] calls him MarYah [Master Yahweh], in what way can he be his son?”
46 Și nimeni nu a fost în stare să îi răspundă un cuvânt, nici nu a cutezat nimeni din acea zi să îl mai întrebe ceva.
No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more hard questions from that day forward.
