Luca 21
1 Și a ridicat privirea și a văzut pe bogați aruncându-și darurile în vistierie.
He looked up, and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury.
2 Și a văzut și pe o anumită văduvă săracă aruncând acolo doi bănuți.
He saw a certain poor widow casting in two lepta.
3 Și a spus: Adevărat vă spun, această văduvă săracă a aruncat în vistierie mai mult decât toți;
He said, "Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them,
4 Fiindcă toți aceștia au aruncat din abundența lor pentru ofrandele lui Dumnezeu; dar ea, din sărăcia ei, a aruncat în vistierie tot ce avea ca să trăiască.
for all these put in gifts from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on."
5 Și, pe când unii vorbeau despre templu, cum era ornamentat cu pietre frumoase și daruri, a spus:
As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,
6 Cât despre acestea pe care le vedeți, vor veni zilele în care nu va fi lăsată piatră pe piatră care nu va fi dărâmată.
"As for these things which you see, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down."
7 Iar ei l-au întrebat, spunând: Învățătorule, dar când vor fi acestea? Și ce semn va fi când acestea se vor întâmpla?
They asked him, "Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?"
8 Iar el a spus: Luați seama să nu fiți amăgiți; fiindcă mulți vor veni în numele meu, spunând: Eu sunt Cristos; și timpul se apropie; nu vă duceți așadar după ei.
He said, "Watch out that you do not get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Therefore do not follow them.
9 Dar când veți auzi de războaie și răscoale, nu vă îngroziți; fiindcă acestea trebuie întâi să se întâmple; dar nu [este] îndată sfârșitul.
When you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won't come immediately."
10 Apoi le-a spus: Se va ridica națiune contra națiune și împărăție contra împărăție.
Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 Și vor fi mari cutremure de pământ în diferite locuri și foamete și molime; și din cer vor fi arătări înspăimântătoare și semne mari.
There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
12 Dar înaintea tuturor acestora, vor pune mâinile pe voi și vă vor persecuta, predându-vă la sinagogi și închisori, fiind aduși înaintea împăraților și a guvernatorilor, din cauza numelui meu.
But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name's sake.
13 Și aceasta vi se va întoarce pentru mărturie.
It will turn out as a testimony for you.
14 De aceea puneți-vă în inimi să nu meditați înainte ce veți răspunde,
Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,
15 Fiindcă eu vă voi da o gură și înțelepciune, pe care toți potrivnicii voștri nu vor putea să o combată, nici să i se împotrivească.
for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.
16 Și veți fi trădați deopotrivă de părinți și frați și rude și prieteni; și [îi] vor ucide pe unii dintre voi.
You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.
17 Și veți fi urâți de toți din cauza numelui meu.
And you will be hated by everyone because of my name.
18 Și niciun păr din capul vostru nu va pieri nicidecum.
But not a hair of your head will perish.
19 În răbdarea voastră păstrați-vă sufletele.
"By your endurance you will win your lives.
20 Iar când veți vedea Ierusalimul încercuit de armate, atunci să știți că pustiirea lui este aproape.
"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.
21 Atunci, cei din Iudeea să fugă în munți; și cei din mijlocul lui să plece afară; și cei de pe câmpuri să nu intre în el.
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the midst of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter it.
22 Căci acelea vor fi zilele răzbunării, pentru a fi împlinite toate cele scrise.
For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 Dar vai celor însărcinate și celor ce alăptează în acele zile! Fiindcă va fi o mare strâmtorare în țară și furie peste acest popor.
Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days. For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
24 Și vor cădea sub tăișul sabiei și vor fi duși captivi printre toate națiunile; și Ierusalimul va fi călcat în picioare de neamuri, până se vor împlini timpurile neamurilor.
And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by non-Jewish people until the times are fulfilled. And there will be times of the non-Jewish people.
25 Și vor fi semne în soare și în lună și în stele; și pe pământ chinul națiunilor, cu nedumerire; marea și valurile urlând;
And there will be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves;
26 Inima oamenilor lăsându-i de frică și de anticiparea acelor lucruri ce vin pe pământ; fiindcă puterile cerurilor vor fi clătinate.
people will be fainting from fear, and from expectation of the things which are coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 Și atunci vor vedea pe Fiul omului venind într-un nor cu putere și glorie mare.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Iar când acestea vor începe să se întâmple, atunci uitați-vă în sus și ridicați-vă capetele, pentru că răscumpărarea voastră se apropie.
But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near."
29 Și le-a spus o parabolă: Priviți smochinul și toți copacii.
He told them a parable. "See the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 Când deja înfrunzesc, vedeți și știți de la voi înșivă că de acum vara este aproape.
When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near.
31 Tot așa și voi, când vedeți acestea întâmplându-se, să știți că împărăția lui Dumnezeu este aproape.
Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.
32 Adevărat vă spun: Această generație nu va trece până se vor împlini toate.
Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.
33 Cerul și pământul vor trece; dar cuvintele mele nicidecum nu vor trece.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
34 Și luați seama la voi înșivă, ca nu cumva să vi se îngreuneze inimile cu depravare și beție și cu îngrijorările acestei vieți și acea zi să vină peste voi pe neașteptate.
"So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
35 Căci va veni ca o cursă peste toți cei ce locuiesc pe fața întregului pământ.
For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.
36 De aceea vegheați și rugați-vă tot timpul, ca să fiți socotiți demni să scăpați de toate acestea ce se vor întâmpla și să stați în picioare înaintea Fiului omului.
Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be able to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man."
37 Iar în timpul zilei era în templu, învățându-i; iar noaptea ieșea și o petrecea pe muntele care se cheamă al Măslinilor.
Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.
38 Și tot poporul venea devreme dimineața la el, în templu, ca să îl audă.
All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
