Luca 10
1 Iar după acestea, Domnul a mai rânduit [și] alți șaptezeci și i-a trimis doi câte doi înaintea feței lui în fiecare cetate și loc, oriunde avea să vină el însuși
And, after these things, the Lord appointed seventy two others, and sent them forth, two and two before his face, into every city and place whither, he himself, was about to come.
2 De aceea le-a spus: Secerișul, într-adevăr, este mare, dar lucrătorii puțini; implorați, de aceea pe Domnul secerișului să trimită lucrători la secerișul lui.
And he was saying unto them—The harvest, indeed, is, great, but, the labourers, few; beg ye, therefore, of the Lord of the harvest, that he would thrust forth, labourers, into his harvest.
3 Mergeți; iată, eu vă trimit ca miei în mijlocul lupilor.
Withdraw! Lo! I send you forth as lambs amid wolves.
4 Nu purtați nici pungă, nici traistă, nici încălțăminte; și nu salutați pe nimeni pe drum.
Be not carrying purse, or satchel, or sandals, and, no one along the road, salute ye;
5 Iar în orice casă intrați, întâi spuneți: Pace acestei case.
And, into whatsoever house ye enter, First, say, Peace to this house!
6 Și dacă, într-adevăr, este acolo fiul păcii, pacea voastră se va odihni peste ea; dar dacă nu, ea se va întoarce la voi.
And, if the son of peace be, there, your peace, shall rest upon it; but, otherwise, at least, unto you, shall it return.
7 Și rămâneți în aceeași casă, mâncând și bând ce [vă] dau ei; fiindcă demn este lucrătorul de plata sa. Nu treceți din casă în casă.
And, in the self-same house, abide ye, eating and drinking such things as they have; for, worthy, is the labourer, of his hire: be not removing from house to house.
8 Și în oricare cetate intrați și vă primesc, mâncați ce vi se va pune înainte;
And, into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they bid you welcome, be eating such things as are set before you;
9 Și vindecați pe bolnavii din ea și spuneți-le: Împărăția lui Dumnezeu s-a apropiat de voi.
And be curing the sick that are, therein, and be saying unto them—The kingdom of God hath drawn nigh upon you.
10 Dar în oricare cetate intrați și nu vă primesc, mergeți pe străzile acesteia și spuneți:
But, into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they do not welcome you, going forth into the broadways thereof, say ye:
11 Chiar praful cetății voastre, care se lipește de noi, îl ștergem împotriva voastră; totuși să fiți siguri de aceasta, că împărăția lui Dumnezeu s-a apropiat de voi.
Even the dust that cleaveth unto us, out of your city, unto our feet, do we wipe off against you; nevertheless, of this, be taking notice—The kingdom of God hath drawn near.
12 Dar vă spun că va fi mai ușor de suportat în ziua aceea pentru Sodoma decât pentru acea cetate.
I tell you, for them of Sodom, in that day, more tolerable, will it be, than for that city.
13 Vai ție, Corazine! Vai ție, Betsaido! Căci, dacă în Tir și Sidon ar fi fost făcute faptele puternice care au fost făcute în voi, de mult s-ar fi pocăit șezând în pânză de sac și cenușă.
Alas for thee, Chorazin! Alas for thee, Bethsaida! Because, if, in Tyre and Zidon, had been done the works of power which have been down in you, of old, in sackcloth and ashes sitting, they would have repented.
14 Dar pentru Tir și Sidon va fi mai ușor de suportat la judecată, decât pentru voi.
Moreover, for Tyre and Zidon, more tolerable, will it be, in the judgment, than, for you.
And, thou, Capernaum, —Unto heaven, shalt thou be uplifted? …Unto hades, thou shalt be brought down! (Hadēs g86)
16 Cel ce vă aude, pe mine mă aude; și cel ce vă disprețuiește, pe mine mă disprețuiește; și cel ce mă disprețuiește, disprețuiește pe cel ce m-a trimis.
He that hearkeneth unto you, unto me, doth hearken, and, he that setteth you aside, doth set, me, aside; and, he that setteth, me, aside, doth set aside, him that sent me.
17 Și cei șaptezeci s-au întors cu bucurie, spunând: Doamne, până și dracii ne sunt supuși prin numele tău.
And the seventy [-two] returned, with joy, saying—Lord! even the demons, submit themselves unto us, in thy name!
18 Iar el le-a spus: Am privit pe Satan, căzând ca un fulger din cer.
And he said unto them—I was beholding Satan, when, like lightning, out of heaven, he fell!
19 Iată, vă dau putere să călcați peste șerpi și scorpioni și peste toată puterea dușmanului; și nimic, în niciun fel, nu vă va vătăma.
Lo! I have given you the authority—to be treading upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and, nothing, unto you, shall in anywise do harm;
20 Totuși nu vă bucurați în aceasta, că duhurile vă sunt supuse; ci, mai degrabă, bucurați-vă pentru că numele voastre sunt scrise în cer.
Notwithstanding, in this, be not rejoicing—that, the spirits, unto you submit themselves; but be rejoicing—that, your names, are inscribed in the heavens!
21 În acea oră Isus s-a bucurat în duh și a spus: Îți mulțumesc, Tată, Domn al cerului și al pământului, pentru că ai ascuns acestea de cei înțelepți și prevăzători și le-ai revelat pruncilor. Da, Tată, pentru că așa este plăcut înaintea ta.
In the self-same hour, exulted he in the Holy Spirit, and said—I openly give praise unto thee, Father! Lord of heaven and earth! in that thou hast hid these things from the wise and discerning, and hast revealed them unto babes, —Yea, O Father! that, so, hath it become, a delight, before thee.
22 Toate mi-au fost date de Tatăl meu; și nimeni nu știe cine este Fiul, decât Tatăl; și cine este Tatăl, decât Fiul și acela căruia Fiul voiește să îl reveleze.
All things, unto me, have been delivered up by my Father; and, no one, knoweth, who the Son is, save the Father, —and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son may be minded to reveal him.
23 Și s-a întors spre discipoli și a spus deoparte: Binecuvântați sunt ochii care văd cele ce vedeți voi;
And, turning unto his disciples, privately, he said—Happy, the eyes, that see what ye see!
24 Fiindcă vă spun că mulți profeți și împărați au dorit să vadă cele ce vedeți voi și nu au văzut; și să audă cele ce auziți și nu au auzit.
For I tell you, Many prophets and kings, have desired to see what, ye, see, and they saw not, and to hear what ye hear, and they heard not.
25 Și iată, un anumit învățător al legii s-a sculat și l-a ispitit, spunând: Învățătorule, ce să fac să moștenesc viață eternă? (aiōnios g166)
And lo! a certain lawyer, arose, putting him to the test, saying—Teacher! by doing what, shall I inherit, life age-abiding? (aiōnios g166)
26 Și i-a spus: Ce este scris în lege? Cum citești?
And, he, said unto him—In the law, what is written? how dost thou read?
27 Și răspunzând, a zis: Să iubești pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău cu toată inima ta și cu tot sufletul tău și cu toată puterea ta și cu toată mintea ta și pe aproapele tău ca pe tine însuți.
And, he, answering, said—Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, out of all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, and with all thine intention; and thy neighbour, as thyself?
28 Și i-a zis: Drept ai răspuns; fă aceasta și vei trăi.
And he said unto him—Rightly, hast thou answered: This, do, and thou shalt live.
29 Dar el, voind să se declare drept, i-a spus lui Isus: Și cine este aproapele meu?
But, he, wishing to justify himself, said unto Jesus—And, who is, my, neighbour?
30 Și Isus, răspunzând, a zis: Un anumit om s-a coborât din Ierusalim la Ierihon și a căzut printre tâlhari, care l-au dezbrăcat și l-au rănit și au plecat lăsându-l aproape mort.
And taking up [the question], Jesus said—A certain man, was going down from Jerusalem unto Jericho, and, with robbers, fell in, —who, stripping him, and inflicting, wounds, upon him, departed, leaving him, half dead.
31 Și din întâmplare, cobora un anumit preot pe acea cale; și când l-a văzut, a trecut înainte pe cealaltă parte.
And, by chance, a certain priest, was coming down by that road, and, seeing him, passed by, on the opposite side.
32 Și în același fel și un levit, când a fost la locul acela, a venit și l-a văzut și a trecut înainte pe cealaltă parte.
And, in like manner, a Levite also, coming down to the place, and seeing him, passed by, on the opposite side.
33 Dar un anumit samaritean, călătorind, a venit unde era el; și când l-a văzut, i s-a făcut milă.
But, a certain Samaritan, going on his journey, came down to him, and, seeing him, was moved with compassion;
34 Și a venit la el și i-a legat rănile, turnând peste ele untdelemn și vin și l-a pus pe animalul lui și l-a adus la un han și a avut grijă de el.
and, coming near, bound up his bruises, pouring thereon oil and wine, —and, setting him on his own beast, brought him into an inn, and took care of him.
35 Și a doua zi, când a plecat, a scos doi dinari și i-a dat hangiului și i-a spus: Ai grijă de el; și oricât vei mai cheltui, când mă întorc, îți voi înapoia.
And, on the morrow, throwing out two denaries, he gave them to the inn-keeper, and said—Take care of him, and, whatsoever thou shall further spend, I, when on my way back, will duly pay thee.
36 Atunci, care dintre aceștia trei ți se pare că a fost aproapele celui căzut printre tâlhari?
Which of these three, seemeth unto thee to have become, neighbour, unto him who fell among the robbers?
37 Iar el a spus: Cel ce a arătat milă față de el. Atunci Isus i-a spus: Du-te și fă și tu la fel.
And, he, said—He who dealt mercifully with him. And Jesus said unto him—Be taking thy journey, and, thou, be doing, in like manner.
38 Și, s-a întâmplat, pe când mergeau ei, că el a intrat într-un sat anume; și o anume femeie numită Marta l-a primit în casa ei.
And, as they were journeying, he, entered into a certain village; and, a certain woman, named Martha, welcomed him into her house.
39 Și ea avea o soră numită Maria, care s-a așezat și ea la picioarele lui Isus și asculta cuvântul lui.
And, she, had a sister, called Mary, who also, seating herself at the feet of the Lord, was hearing his word.
40 Dar Marta era copleșită cu multă servire; și, venind la el, a spus: Doamne, nu îți pasă că sora mea m-a lăsat să servesc singură? Spune-i așadar să mă ajute.
But, Martha, was distracted about much ministering, and, coming near, said—Lord! carest thou not that, my sister, hath left me to be ministering, alone? Speak to her, then, that she help me.
41 Dar Isus a răspuns și i-a zis: Marta, Marta, ești îngrijorată și tulburată pentru multe lucruri;
But the Lord, answering, said to her—Martha! Martha! thou art anxious and troubled about many things:
42 Dar un lucru este necesar; și Maria a ales partea cea bună, care nu i se va lua.
Of few things, is there need, or, of one; Mary, in fact, hath chosen, the good part, —one which shall not be taken away from her.
