Leviticul 24
1 Și DOMNUL i-a vorbit lui Moise, spunând:
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
2 Poruncește copiilor lui Israel, ca ei să îți aducă untdelemn pur de măsline bătute, pentru lumină, pentru a face ca lămpile să ardă continuu.
Command the sons of Israel, That they bring unto thee—pure oil olive, beaten, for giving light, —to cause the lamp to burn up continually.
3 În afara perdelei mărturiei, în tabernacolul întâlnirii, Aaron să le pună în ordine de seara până dimineața înaintea DOMNULUI, continuu; acesta să fie un statut veșnic în toate generațiile voastre.
Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron order it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh continually, —a statute age-abiding, to your generations.
4 Să pună în ordine lămpile pe sfeșnicul cel pur, continuu înaintea DOMNULUI.
Upon the pure lampstand, shall he order the lamps, —before Yahweh, continually.
5 Și să iei floarea făinii și să coci douăsprezece turte din ea, două zecimi să fie într-o turtă.
And thou shalt take fine meal, and bake it, in twelve cakes, —of two-tenths, shall each cake be.
6 Și să le pui pe două rânduri, șase pe un rând, pe masa pură înaintea DOMNULUI.
And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, —upon the pure table, before Yahweh.
7 Și să pui tămâie pură pe fiecare rând, ca aceasta să fie pe pâine ca o amintire, o ofrandă făcută prin foc DOMNULUI.
And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, —so shall it belong unto the bread as a memorial, an altar-flame unto Yahweh.
8 În fiecare sabat să o pună în ordine înaintea DOMNULUI, continuu, fiind luată de la copiii lui Israel printr-un legământ veșnic.
Sabbath day by sabbath day, shall he order it before Yahweh continually, —from the sons of Israel as an age-abiding covenant:
9 Și aceasta să fie a lui Aaron și a fiilor săi; și ei să o mănânce în locul sfânt, pentru că aceasta este preasfântă pentru el dintre ofrandele făcute prin foc DOMNULUI, printr-un statut veșnic.
so shall it be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, —for most holy, shall it be unto him from among the altar-flames of Yahweh, a statute age-abiding.
10 Și fiul unei femei israelite, al cărui tată era egiptean, a ieșit dintre copiii lui Israel; și acest fiu al femeii israelite și un bărbat al lui Israel s-au luptat în tabără;
And forth went the son of a woman of Israel—he being the son of a man of Egypt—in the midst of the sons of Israel;
11 Și fiul femeii israelite a blasfemiat numele DOMNULUI și a blestemat. Iar ei l-au adus la Moise (și numele mamei sale era Șelomit, fiica lui Dibri, din tribul lui Dan);
and the son of the woman of Israel, and a man of Israel, reviled one another in the camp. And the son of the Israelitish woman uttered contemptuously the Name, and reviled. So they brought him in unto Moses, —now, the name of his mother, was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
12 Și l-au pus sub pază, ca mintea DOMNULUI să le fie arătată.
and they put him in ward, —that a clear answer might be given to them at the mouth of Yahweh.
13 Și DOMNUL i-a vorbit lui Moise, spunând:
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
14 Scoate pe cel ce a blestemat în afara taberei; și toți cei ce l-au auzit să își pună mâinile pe capul lui și toată adunarea să îl ucidă cu pietre.
Bring forth him that reviled unto the outside of the camp, then shall all that heard [him] lean their hands upon his head, —and all the assembly shall stone him.
15 Și să vorbești copiilor lui Israel, spunând: Oricine blestemă pe Dumnezeul său să își poarte păcatul.
And, unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak saying, —What man soever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
16 Și cel ce a blasfemiat numele DOMNULUI, acela cu siguranță să fie dat morții și toată adunarea să îl ucidă negreșit cu pietre; cel străin în același fel ca cel născut în țară, când el blasfemiază numele DOMNULUI, să fie dat morții.
And, he that contemptuously uttereth the name of Yahweh, shall be, surely put to death, all the assembly shall, surely stone, him, —as the sojourner so the home-born, when he contemptuously uttereth the Name, he shall be put to death.
17 Și cel ce ucide vreun om să fie cu siguranță dat morții.
And, when, any man, by smiting taketh the life of any human being, he shall be surely put to death,
18 Și cel ce ucide un animal va plăti; animal pentru animal.
And he that by smiting taketh away the life of a beast, shall make it good, —life for life.
19 Și dacă un bărbat provoacă o vătămare aproapelui său; precum a făcut, astfel să îi fie făcut;
And, when, any man, inflicteth a blemish upon his neighbour, as he hath done, so, shall it be done to him:
20 Spărtură pentru spărtură, ochi pentru ochi, dinte pentru dinte, precum a provocat o vătămare într-un om, astfel să îi fie făcut.
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he inflicteth a blemish upon a human being, so, shall one be inflicted upon him.
21 Și cel ce ucide o vită, va plăti vita; și cel ce ucide un om, să fie dat morții.
And he that killeth a beast, shall make it good, -and he that killeth a human being, shall be put to death.
22 Să aveți un singur fel de lege, pentru străin în același fel ca pentru unul din țara voastră, pentru că eu sunt DOMNUL Dumnezeul vostru.
One rule, shall ye have, as the sojourner, so the home-born, shall be, —For, I—Yahweh, am your God.
23 Și Moise a vorbit copiilor lui Israel, ca ei să scoată pe cel ce a blestemat în afara taberei și să îl ucidă cu pietre. Și copiii lui Israel au făcut precum DOMNUL i-a poruncit lui Moise.
So then Moses spake unto the sons of Israel, and they took forth the reviler, unto the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus, the sons of Israel did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
