1 Atunci Samson a mers la Gaza și a văzut acolo o curvă și a intrat la ea.
And he went Samson Gaza towards and he saw there a woman a prostitute and he went into her.
2 Și li s-a spus gaziților, zicând: Samson a venit aici. Și l-au încercuit și l-au pândit toată noaptea la poarta cetății și au stat liniștiți toată noaptea, spunând: Dimineață, când va fi ziuă, îl vom ucide.
To the Gazites - saying he has come Samson here and they surrounded and they lay in wait for him all the night at [the] gate of the city and they were silent all the night saying until [the] light of the morning and we will kill him.
3 Și Samson s-a culcat până la miezul nopții; și la miezul nopții s-a sculat și a luat porțile cetății și cei doi stâlpi, cu tot cu zăvor, și a plecat cu ele și le-a pus pe umerii săi și le-a dus pe vârful unui deal care este înaintea Hebronului.
And he lay down Samson until [the] middle of the night and he arose - in [the] middle of the night and he took hold on [the] doors of [the] gate of the city and on [the] two the doorposts and he pulled up them with the bar and he put [them] on shoulders his and he carried up them to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Hebron.
4 Și s-a întâmplat, după aceasta, că a iubit o femeie în Valea Sorec al cărei nume era Dalila.
And it was after thus and he loved a woman in [the] valley of Sorek and name her [was] Delilah.
5 Și domnii filistenilor s-au urcat la ea și i-au spus: Ademenește-l și vezi în ce stă marea lui putere și prin ce mijloace îl vom putea învinge, ca să îl legăm și să îl chinuim; și îți vom da fiecare o mie o sută de șekeli de argint.
And they went up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they said to her entice him and see how? [is] strength his great and how? will we prevail to him and we will bind him to humble him and we we will give to you each one thousand and one hundred silver.
6 Și Dalila i-a spus lui Samson: Spune-mi, te rog, în ce stă marea ta putere și cu ce poți fi legat ca să fii chinuit.
And she said Delilah to Samson tell! please to me how? [is] strength your great and how? will you be bound to humble you.
7 Și Samson i-a spus: Dacă mă leagă cu împletituri de șapte nuiele verzi, care nu au fost niciodată uscate, atunci voi fi slab și voi fi ca orice alt om.
And he said to her Samson if people will bind me with seven cords fresh which not they have been dried and I will be weak and I will be like one of humankind.
8 Atunci domnii filistenilor i-au adus împletituri de șapte nuiele verzi, care nu fuseseră uscate, și ea l-a legat cu ele.
And they brought up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines seven cords fresh which not they had been dried and she bound him with them.
9 Și erau acolo bărbați pândind, șezând cu ea în cameră. Și ea i-a spus: Filistenii sunt asupra ta, Samson. Și el a rupt împletiturile de nuiele cum se rupe o ață de câlți când este atinsă de foc. Astfel puterea lui nu a fost cunoscută.
And the ambusher [was] sitting of her in the chamber and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he tore apart the cords just as it is torn apart thread of tow when smells it fire and not it was known strength his.
10 Și Dalila i-a spus lui Samson: Iată, m-ai batjocorit și mi-ai spus minciuni, acum spune-mi, te rog, cu ce poți fi legat.
And she said Delilah to Samson here! you have deceived me and you have spoken to me lies now tell! please to me how? will you be bound.
11 Și el i-a spus: Dacă mă leagă strâns cu funii noi care nu au fost niciodată folosite, atunci voi fi slab și voi fi ca orice om.
And he said to her certainly [if] they will bind me with ropes new which not it has been done with them work and I will be weak and I will be like one of humankind.
12 Dalila de aceea a luat funii noi și l-a legat cu ele și i-a spus: Samson, filistenii sunt asupra ta. Și erau acolo pânditori, șezând în cameră. Și el le-a rupt de pe brațele sale ca pe o ață.
And she took Delilah ropes new and she bound him with them and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and the ambusher [was] sitting in the chamber and he tore apart them from on arms his like thread.
13 Și Dalila i-a spus lui Samson: Până aici m-ai batjocorit și mi-ai spus minciuni; spune-mi cu ce poți fi legat. Și el i-a spus: Dacă împletești cele șapte șuvițe ale capului meu în urzeala țesăturii.
And she said Delilah to Samson until now you have deceived me and you have spoken to me lies tell! to me how? will you be bound and he said to her if you will weave seven [the] plaits of head my with the web. (And you will strike with a pin to the wall and I will be weak and I will be like one man. *X*)
14 Și ea le-a prins cu un țăruș și i-a spus: Samson, filistenii sunt asupra ta. Și el s-a trezit din somnul său și a luat cu el țărușul bârnei și urzeala.
(And she made sleep him and she wove seven [the] plaits head his with the web *X*) and she thrust with the pin and she said to him [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he awoke from sleep his and he pulled out the pin of the loom and the web.
15 Și ea i-a spus: Cum poți să spui, te iubesc, când inima ta nu este cu mine? În aceste trei rânduri m-ai batjocorit și nu mi-ai spus în ce stă marea ta putere.
And she said to him how? will you say I love you and heart your not [is] with me this three times you have deceived me and not you have told to me how? [is] strength your great.
16 Și s-a întâmplat, după ce l-a supărat zilnic prin cuvintele ei și l-a implorat, astfel că sufletul lui a fost chinuit până la moarte,
And it was that she pressed him with words her all the days and she urged him and it was short self his to die.
17 Că și-a deschis toată inima și i-a spus: Brici nu s-a pus pe capul meu, pentru că sunt nazireu lui Dumnezeu din pântecele mamei mele; dacă voi fi ras, atunci puterea mea mă va părăsi și voi deveni slab și voi fi ca orice alt om.
And he told to her all heart his and he said to her a razor not it has come up on head my for [am] a Nazirite of God I from [the] womb of mother my if I was shaved and it will depart from me strength my and I will be weak and I will be like every man.
18 Și când Dalila a văzut că își deschisese toată inima, a trimis și a chemat pe domnii filistenilor, spunând: Urcați-vă de data aceasta, pentru că și-a deschis toată inima față de mine. Atunci domnii filistenilor s-au urcat la ea și au adus bani în mâinile lor.
And she saw (Delilah *LA(bh)*) that he had told to her all heart his and she sent and she summoned [the] rulers of [the] Philistines saying come up this time for he has told (to me *Q(K)*) all heart his and they came up to her [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and they brought up the silver in hand their.
19 Și ea l-a adormit pe genunchii ei; și a chemat un om și l-a pus să îi radă cele șapte șuvițe ale capului său; și ea a început să îl chinuiască; și puterea lui l-a părăsit.
And she made sleep him on knees her and she summoned the man and she shaved off seven [the] plaits of head his and she began to humble him and it departed strength his from on him.
20 Și ea a spus: Samson, filistenii sunt asupra ta. Și el s-a trezit din somnul său și a spus: Voi ieși ca în celelalte dăți și mă voi scutura. Și nu știa că DOMNUL îl părăsise.
And she said [the] Philistines [are] on you O Samson and he awoke from sleep his and he said I will go out as time on time so I may shake myself free and he not he knew that Yahweh he had departed from with him.
21 Dar filistenii l-au luat și i-au scos ochii; și l-au coborât la Gaza și l-au legat cu cătușe de aramă; și el măcina în casa închisorii.
And they seized him [the] Philistines and they gouged out eyes his and they brought down him Gaza towards and they bound him with bronze fetters and he was grinding in [the] house of (those imprisoned. *Q(K)*)
22 Totuși, părul capului său a început să crească din nou după ce fusese ras.

24 Și când poporul l-a văzut, au lăudat pe dumnezeul lor, pentru că spuneau: Dumnezeul nostru a dat în mâna noastră pe dușmanul nostru și pe nimicitorul țării noastre, care a ucis pe mulți dintre noi.
And they saw him the people and they praised god their for they said he has given god our in hand our enemy our and [the] desolator of land our and who he has multiplied slain [ones] our.
25 Și s-a întâmplat, când inimile lor erau vesele, că au spus: Chemați pe Samson, ca să ne distreze. Și au chemat pe Samson din casa închisorii; și el i-a distrat; și l-au pus între stâlpi.
And it was (like good *Q(K)*) heart their and they said summon Samson so he may make sport for us and they summoned Samson from [the] house of (those imprisoned *Q(K)*) and he made sport before them and they made stand him between the pillars.
26 Și Samson a spus băiatului care îl ținea de mână: Permite-mi să ating stâlpii pe care stă casa, ca să mă sprijin de ei.
And he said Samson to the young man who kept hold on hand his permit! me (and let feel me *Q(K)*) the pillars which the house [is] established on them so I may lean on them.
27 Acum, casa era plină de bărbați și de femei; și toți domnii filistenilor erau acolo; și erau pe acoperiș cam trei mii de bărbați și de femei, care priveau în timp ce Samson îi distra.
And the house was full men and women and [were] there all [the] rulers of [the] Philistines and [were] on the roof about three thousand man and woman who were looking when sported Samson.
28 Și Samson a chemat pe DOMNUL și a spus: O, DOAMNE Dumnezeule, amintește-ți de mine te rog și întărește-mă, doar de data aceasta, O, Dumnezeule, ca să fiu răzbunat îndată asupra filistenilor pentru cei doi ochi ai mei.
And he called out Samson to Yahweh and he said O Lord Yahweh remember me please and strengthen me please only the time this O God so let me avenge myself vengeance of one from [the] two eyes my from [the] Philistines.
29 Și Samson a apucat cei doi stâlpi din mijloc pe care stătea casa și de care era susținută, pe unul cu mâna lui dreaptă și pe celălalt cu stânga lui.
And he grasped Samson [the] two - [the] pillars of the middle which the house [was] established on them and he supported himself on them one in right [hand] his and one in left [hand] his.
30 Și Samson a spus: Să mor împreună cu filistenii. Și s-a plecat cu toată puterea lui; și casa a căzut peste domni și peste tot poporul care era în ea. Astfel că morții pe care i-a ucis la moartea sa au fost mai mulți decât aceia pe care îi ucisese în viața sa.
And he said Samson let it die life my with [the] Philistines and he stretched out with strength and it fell the house on the rulers and on all the people which [was] in it and they were the dead whom he killed in death his many more than [those] whom he had killed in life his.
31 Atunci frații săi și toată casa tatălui său au coborât și l-au luat și l-au urcat și l-au îngropat între Țoreea și Eștaol, în locul de îngropare al lui Manoah, tatăl său. Și el judecase pe Israel douăzeci de ani.
And they went down brothers his and all [the] household of father his and they carried him and they brought [him] up - and they buried him between Zorah and between Eshtaol in [the] tomb of Manoah father his and he he judged Israel twenty year[s].
