Joshua 24
1 Și Iosua a adunat toate triburile lui Israel la Sihem și a chemat pe bătrânii lui Israel și pe căpeteniile lor și pe judecătorii lor și pe ofițerii lor, iar ei s-au înfățișat înaintea lui Dumnezeu.
And he gathered Joshua all [the] tribes of Israel Shechem towards and he summoned [the] elders of Israel and leaders its and judges its and officials its and they presented themselves before God.
2 Și Iosua a spus întregului popor: Astfel spune DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel: Părinții voștri, Terah, tatăl lui Avraam și tatăl lui Nahor, au locuit în vechime dincolo de râu și au servit altor dumnezei.
And he said Joshua to all the people thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel on [the] other side of the river they dwelt ancestors your from long ago Terah [the] father of Abraham and [the] father of Nahor and they served gods other.
3 Și am luat pe tatăl vostru Avraam de dincolo de râu și l-am condus prin toată țara Canaanului și i-am înmulțit sămânța și i-am dat pe Isaac.
And I took ancestor your Abraham from [the] other side of the river and I led him in all [the] land of Canaan (and I increased *Q(k)*) offspring his and I gave to him Isaac.
4 Și lui Isaac i-am dat pe Iacov și pe Esau; și lui Esau i-am dat muntele Seir, pentru a-l stăpâni; dar Iacov și fiii săi au coborât în Egipt.
And I gave to Isaac Jacob and Esau and I gave to Esau [the] mountain of Seir to take possession of it and Jacob and sons his they went down Egypt.
5 Și am trimis pe Moise și pe Aaron și am lovit Egiptul cu plăgile pe care le-am făcut în mijlocul lor; și după aceea v-am scos de acolo.
And I sent Moses and Aaron and I struck Egypt just as I did in midst its and after I brought out you.
6 Și am scos pe părinții voștri din Egipt și ați venit la mare; și egiptenii au urmărit pe părinții voștri cu care și călăreți, până la Marea Roșie.
And I brought out fathers your from Egypt and you came the sea towards and they pursued Egypt after fathers your with chariotry and with horsemen [the] sea of reed[s].
7 Și când au strigat către DOMNUL, el a pus întuneric între voi și egipteni și a adus marea asupra lor și i-a acoperit; și ochii voștri au văzut ce am făcut în Egipt; și ați locuit în pustiu multe zile.
And they cried out to Yahweh and he put darkness between you - and between the Egyptians and he brought over it the sea and it covered it and they saw eyes your [that] which I did in Egypt and you dwelt in the wilderness days many.
8 Și v-am adus în țara amoriților, care locuiesc dincolo de Iordan, și ei s-au luptat cu voi și i-am dat în mâna voastră ca să le stăpâniți țara și i-am nimicit dinaintea voastră.
(And I brought *Q(K)*) you to [the] land of the Amorite[s] who dwelt on [the] other side of the Jordan and they fought with you and I gave them in hand your and you took possession of land their and I destroyed them from before you.
9 Atunci Balac, fiul lui Țipor, împăratul Moabului, s-a ridicat și s-a luptat împotriva lui Israel și a trimis și a chemat pe Balaam, fiul lui Beor, să vă blesteme.
And he arose Balak [the] son of Zippor [the] king of Moab and he fought against Israel and he sent and he summoned Balaam [the] son of Beor to curse you.
10 Dar am refuzat să dau ascultare lui Balaam; de aceea el totuși v-a binecuvântat; așa v-am scăpat din mâna lui.
And not I was willing to listen to Balaam and he blessed continuously you and I delivered you from hand his.
11 Și ați trecut Iordanul și ați venit la Ierihon. Și bărbații Ierihonului, amoriții și fereziții și canaaniții și hetiții și ghirgasiții și heviții și iebusiții au luptat împotriva voastră; și eu i-am dat în mâna voastră.
And you passed over the Jordan and you came to Jericho and they fought against you [the] citizens of Jericho the Amorite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Girgashite[s] the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s] and I gave them in hand your.
12 Și am trimis viespea înaintea voastră și i-a alungat dinaintea voastră, chiar pe cei doi împărați ai amoriților, nu cu sabia ta, nici cu arcul tău.
And I sent before you the hornet and it drove out them from before you [the] two [the] kings of the Amorite[s] not by sword your and not by bow your.
13 Și v-am dat o țară pentru care nu voi v-ați ostenit și cetăți pe care nu voi le-ați zidit și totuși locuiți în ele; voi mâncați din vii și din măslini, pe care nu i-ați sădit.
And I gave to you a land - which not you had labored for it and cities which not you had built and you dwelt in them vineyards and olive trees which not you had planted you [are] eating.
14 De aceea acum, temeți-vă de DOMNUL și serviți-i cu sinceritate și în adevăr, și îndepărtați dumnezeii cărora le-au servit părinții voștri dincolo de râu și în Egipt și serviți DOMNULUI.
And therefore fear Yahweh and serve him in integrity and in faithfulness and remove [the] gods which they served ancestors your on [the] other side of the river and in Egypt and serve Yahweh.
15 Și dacă vi se pare rău să serviți DOMNULUI, alegeți astăzi cui voiți să serviți: sau dumnezeilor cărora le-au servit părinții voștri care erau dincolo de râu, sau dumnezeilor amoriților în a căror țară locuiți. Dar cât despre mine, eu și casa mea vom servi DOMNULUI.
And if is displeasing in view your to serve Yahweh choose for yourselves this day whom? will you serve! whether [the] gods which they served ancestors your who ([were] from [the] other side of *Q(K)*) the river and or [the] gods of the Amorite[s] whom you [are] dwelling in land their and I and household my we will serve Yahweh.
16 Și poporul a răspuns, zicând: Nicidecum nu vom părăsi pe DOMNUL pentru a servi altor dumnezei.
And it answered the people and it said far be it to us from forsaking Yahweh to serve gods other.
17 Fiindcă DOMNUL Dumnezeul nostru este cel care ne-a scos pe noi și pe părinții noștri din țara Egiptului, din casa robiei, și cel care a făcut acele semne mari înaintea ochilor noștri și ne-a păstrat pe tot drumul pe care am mers și în mijlocul tuturor popoarelor prin care am trecut.
For Yahweh God our he [is] the [one who] brought up us and fathers our from [the] land of Egypt from a house of slaves and [the one] who he did to eyes our the signs great these and he kept us in all the way which we went in it and among all the peoples which we passed in midst their.
18 Și DOMNUL a alungat toate popoarele dinaintea noastră, chiar pe amoriții care au locuit în țară. De aceea și noi vom servi DOMNULUI, fiindcă el este Dumnezeul nostru.
And he drove out Yahweh all the peoples and the Amorite[s] [who] dwelt of the land from before us also we we will serve Yahweh for he [is] God our.
19 Și Iosua a spus poporului: Nu veți putea servi DOMNULUI, fiindcă el este un Dumnezeu sfânt; este un Dumnezeu gelos; nu va ierta fărădelegile voastre nici păcatele voastre.
And he said Joshua to the people not you will be able to serve Yahweh for [is] a God holy he [is] a God jealous he not he will forgive to transgression your and sins your.
20 Dacă veți părăsi pe DOMNUL și veți servi unor dumnezei străini, atunci el se va întoarce și vă va face rău și vă va nimici, după ce v-a făcut bine.
If you will forsake Yahweh and you will serve gods of foreignness and he will turn and he will do harm to you and he will make an end of you after that he has done good to you.
21 Și poporul i-a spus lui Iosua: Nu, ci vom servi DOMNULUI.
And it said the people to Joshua In-deed Yahweh we will serve.
22 Și Iosua a spus poporului: Sunteți martori împotriva voastră înșivă că v-ați ales pe DOMNUL ca să îi serviți. Și ei au zis: Suntem martori.
And he said Joshua to the people [are] witnesses you on yourselves that you you have chosen for yourselves Yahweh to serve him and they said witnesses.
23 Și Iosua a spus: De aceea acum, îndepărtați dumnezeii străini care sunt în mijlocul vostru și plecați-vă inima spre DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel.
And therefore remove [the] gods of foreignness which [are] in midst your and turn heart your to Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
24 Și poporul i-a spus lui Iosua: Vom servi DOMNULUI Dumnezeul nostru și vom asculta de vocea sa.
And they said the people to Joshua Yahweh God our we will serve and to voice his we will listen.
25 Astfel în ziua aceea Iosua a făcut legământ cu poporul și i-a dat un statut și o rânduială în Sihem.
And he made Joshua a covenant to the people on the day that and he established for it a decree and a judgment at Shechem.
26 Și Iosua a scris aceste cuvinte în cartea legii lui Dumnezeu și a luat o piatră mare și a pus-o acolo sub stejarul de lângă sanctuarul DOMNULUI.
And he wrote Joshua the words these in [the] book of [the] law of God and he took a stone large and he set up it there under the oak which [was] at [the] sanctuary of Yahweh.
27 Și Iosua a spus către tot poporul: Iată, această piatră ne va fi martoră, fiindcă a auzit toate cuvintele DOMNULUI, pe care ni le-a spus; și vă va fi martoră, ca nu cumva să negați pe Dumnezeul vostru.
And he said Joshua to all the people here! the stone this it will become on us a witness for it it has heard all [the] words of Yahweh which he has spoken with us and it will become on you a witness lest you should deny! God your.
28 Și Iosua a dat drumul poporului, fiecăruia la moștenirea sa.
And he sent away Joshua the people everyone to own inheritance his.
29 Și s-a întâmplat, după aceste lucruri, că Iosua, fiul lui Nun, servitorul DOMNULUI, a murit, având o sută zece ani.
And it was after the things these and he died Joshua [the] son of Nun [the] servant of Yahweh a son of one hundred and ten years.
30 Și l-au înmormântat în ținutul moștenirii sale, în Timnat-Serah, care este în muntele lui Efraim, în partea de nord a muntelui Gaaș.
And people buried him in [the] territory of inheritance his at Timnath Serah which [is] in [the] hill country of Ephraim from [the] north of [the] mountain of Gaash.
31 Și Israel a servit DOMNULUI în toate zilele lui Iosua și în toate zilele bătrânilor ale căror zile s-au lungit după Iosua și care cunoscuseră toate lucrările DOMNULUI, pe care le făcuse pentru Israel.
And it served Israel Yahweh all [the] days of Joshua and all - [the] days of the old [men] who they made long days after Joshua and who they knew all [the] work of Yahweh which he had done for Israel.
32 Și au înmormântat la Sihem oasele lui Iosif, pe care copiii lui Israel le-au adus din Egipt, în partea câmpului pe care-l cumpărase Iacov de la fiii lui Hamor, tatăl lui Sihem, cu o sută de arginți, care a ajuns moștenirea copiilor lui Iosif.
And [the] bones of Joseph which they had brought up [the] people of Israel - from Egypt they buried at Shechem in [the] portion of the field which he had bought Jacob from with [the] sons of Hamor [the] father of Shechem for a hundred piece[s] of money and they became of [the] descendants of Joseph an inheritance.
33 Și Eleazar, fiul lui Aaron, a murit; și l-au înmormântat pe un deal care aparținea lui Fineas, fiul său, care i se dăduse în muntele lui Efraim.
And Eleazar [the] son of Aaron he died and people buried him at Gibeah of Phinehas son his which it had been given to him in [the] hill country of Ephraim.
