Joshua 14

1 Și acestea sunt țările pe care le-au moștenit copiii lui Israel în țara Canaanului, pe care le-au împărțit lor, ca moștenire, preotul Eleazar și Iosua, fiul lui Nun, și capii părinților triburilor copiilor lui Israel.

And these [are that] which they inherited [the] people of Israel in [the] land of Canaan which they gave as a possession them Eleazar the priest and Joshua [the] son of Nun and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the tribes of [the] people of Israel.

2 Moștenirea lor a fost prin sorț, așa cum poruncise DOMNUL prin mâna lui Moise, la nouă triburi și la o jumătate de trib.

By [the] allotted portion of inheritance their just as he had commanded Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses for [the] nine the tribes and [the] half of the tribe.

3 Fiindcă Moise dăduse moștenirea celor două triburi și jumătății de trib dincolo de Iordan, dar leviților nu le dăduse moștenire între ei.

For he had given Moses [the] inheritance of [the] two the tribes and [the] half of the tribe from [the] other side of the Jordan and to the Levites not he had given an inheritance in midst of them.

4 Căci copiii lui Iosif erau două triburi: Manase și Efraim; de aceea nu au dat parte leviților în țară, în afară de cetăți de locuit și împrejurimile lor pentru turmele lor și pentru averea lor.

For they were [the] descendants of Joseph two tribes Manasseh and Ephraim and not people gave a portion to the Levites in the land that except cities to dwell in and pasture lands their for livestock their and for possession[s] their.

5 Așa cum poruncise DOMNUL lui Moise, așa au făcut copiii lui Israel și au împărțit țara.

Just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did [the] people of Israel and they apportioned the land.

6 Atunci copiii lui Iuda au venit la Iosua în Ghilgal; și Caleb, fiul lui Iefune chenezitul, i-a spus: Tu știi lucrul pe care l-a spus DOMNUL lui Moise, omul lui Dumnezeu, despre mine și despre tine, în Cades-Barnea.

And they approached [the] descendants of Judah to Joshua at Gilgal and he said to him Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite you you know the word which he spoke Yahweh to Moses [the] man of God on causes my and on causes your at Kadesh Barnea.

7 Eu eram de patruzeci de ani când m-a trimis Moise, servitorul DOMNULUI, din Cades-Barnea să spionez țara; și i-am adus știre așa cum era în inima mea.

[was] a son of Forty year[s] I when sent Moses [the] servant of Yahweh me from Kadesh Barnea to spy out the land and I brought back him a word just as with heart my.

And brothers my who they went up with me they melted [the] heart of the people and I I filled after Yahweh God my.

9 Și Moise a jurat în ziua aceea, spunând: Negreșit, pământul pe care ți-a călcat piciorul va fi moștenirea ta și a copiilor tăi pentru totdeauna, pentru că l-ai urmat pe deplin pe DOMNUL Dumnezeul meu.

And he swore an oath Moses on the day that saying if not the land which it trod foot your on it of you it will become an inheritance and of children your until perpetuity for you filled after Yahweh God my.

10 Și acum, iată, DOMNUL m-a păstrat viu, așa cum a spus, acești patruzeci și cinci de ani, de când a spus DOMNUL cuvântul acesta către Moise, când umbla Israel prin pustiu; și acum, iată, astăzi sunt de optzeci și cinci de ani.

And now here! he has let live Yahweh - me just as he spoke this forty and five year[s] from then he spoke Yahweh the word this to Moses when it walked Israel in the wilderness and now here! I this day [am] a son of five and eighty year[s].

11 Sunt încă tot așa de tare astăzi ca și în ziua în care m-a trimis Moise; cum era tăria mea atunci, așa este tăria mea acum, pentru război, de asemenea pentru a ieși și pentru a intra.

Still I this day [am] strong just as on [the] day sent me Moses as strength my then and as strength my now for the battle and to go out and to come.

12 Și acum, dă-mi muntele acesta, despre care a vorbit DOMNUL în ziua aceea; fiindcă ai auzit în ziua aceea cum anachimii erau acolo și că cetățile erau mari și întărite. Dacă este așa, că DOMNUL este cu mine, atunci îi voi alunga, așa cum a spus DOMNUL.

And therefore give! to me the hill country this which he spoke Yahweh on the day that for you you heard on the day that that Anakites [were] there and cities large fortified perhaps Yahweh with me and I will dispossess them just as he spoke Yahweh.

13 Și Iosua l-a binecuvântat și a dat Hebronul ca moștenire lui Caleb, fiul lui Iefune.

And he blessed him Joshua and he gave Hebron to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh to an inheritance.

14 De aceea, Hebronul a ajuns moștenirea lui Caleb, fiul lui Iefune chenezitul, până în ziua aceasta, pentru că a urmat pe deplin pe DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel.

There-fore it became Hebron of Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite an inheritance until the day this because that he filled after Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

15 Și numele Hebronului era mai înainte Chiriat-Arba; Arba era un om mare printre anachimi. Și țara s-a odihnit de război.

And [the] name of Hebron before [was] Kiriath Arba [who was] the man great among the Anakites he and the land it was at peace from war.
