Joshua 13
1 Și Iosua era bătrân și înaintat în zile și DOMNUL i-a spus: Tu ești bătrân și înaintat în zile și mai rămâne foarte mult pământ de luat în stăpânire.
Now Joshua was old, well stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old, stricken in years, and of the land there remaineth yet very much to be taken possession of.
2 Acesta este pământul care mai rămâne: toate ținuturile filistenilor și tot ținutul gheșuriților,
This is the land that yet remaineth: All the circles of the Philistines, and all [the land of the] Geshurites,
3 De la Șihor, care este înaintea Egiptului, până la ținutul Ecronului spre nord, socotit al canaaniților: cinci conducători ai filistenilor; gaziții și asdodiții și ascaloniții, gatiții și ecroniții, de asemenea și aviții;
From the Shichor, which runneth before Egypt, even unto the boundary of 'Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazzathites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the 'Ekronites; also the 'Avvim;
4 De la sud, toată țara canaaniților și Meara, care este lângă sidonieni, până la Afec, până la ținutul amoriților;
On the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Me'arah that belongeth to the Zidonians, up to Aphek, up to the border of the Emorites;
5 Și țara ghibliților și tot Libanul, spre răsăritul soarelui, de la Baal-Gad sub poala muntelui Hermon până la intrarea în Hamat;
And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the rising of the sun, from Ba'al-gad under mount Chermon up to the entrance of Chamath.
6 Toți locuitorii ținutului muntos de la Liban până la Misrefot-Maim și toți sidonienii; pe aceștia eu îi voi alunga dinaintea copiilor lui Israel; numai împarte-o israeliților prin sorț ca moștenire lui Israel, așa cum ți-am poruncit.
All the inhabitants of the mountain from Lebanon unto Missrephoth-mayim, all the Zidonians: these will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7 De aceea acum, împarte țara aceasta ca moștenire celor nouă triburi și jumătății tribului lui Manase.
And now divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menasseh.
8 Cu acesta, rubeniții și gadiții și-au luat moștenirea lor, pe care le-a dat-o Moise, dincolo de Iordan, spre est, după cum le-a dat-o Moise, servitorul DOMNULUI:
With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave unto them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord hath given them;
9 De la Aroer, care este pe malul râului Arnon și cetatea care este în mijlocul râului și toată câmpia Medeba până la Dibon;
From 'Aro'er, that is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba up to Dibon;
10 Și toate cetățile lui Sihon, împăratul amoriților, care domnea în Hesbon, până la ținutul copiilor lui Amon;
And all the cities of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned over Cheshbon, up to the border of the children of 'Ammon;
11 Și Galaadul și ținutul gheșuriților și al maacatiților și tot muntele Hermon și tot Basanul până la Salca,
And Gil'ad, and the territory of the Geshurites and Ma'achathites, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan up to Salchah;
12 Toată împărăția lui Og, în Basan, care domnea în Aștarot și în Edrei, care a supraviețuit din rămășița uriașilor; căci pe aceștia Moise i-a bătut și i-a alungat.
All the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, who reigned in 'Ashtaroth and in Edre'i; who had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; and Moses smote them, and cast them out.
13 Cu toate acestea copiii lui Israel nu i-au alungat pe gheșuriți, nici pe maacatiți; ci gheșuriții și maacatiții locuiesc în mijlocul lui Israel până în ziua aceasta.
Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites; but the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites continued to dwell in the midst of the Israelites until this day.
14 Numai tribului lui Levi nu i-a dat moștenire; sacrificiile prin foc ale DOMNULUI Dumnezeului lui Israel, acestea sunt moștenirea lor, după cum le spusese El.
Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the fire-offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
15 Și Moise a dat o moștenire tribului copiilor lui Ruben, după familiile lor.
And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families;
16 Și ținutul lor a fost de la Aroer, care este pe malul râului Arnon și cetatea care este în mijlocul râului și toată câmpia de lângă Medeba;
And their territory was from 'Aro'er, that is on the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba;
17 Hesbon și toate cetățile sale, care sunt la câmpie; Dibon și Bamot-Baale și Bet-Baal-Meon,
Cheshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-ba'al, and Beth-ba'al-me'on,
18 Și Iahaț și Chedemot și Mefaat,
And Yahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mepha'ath,
19 Și Chiriataim și Sibma și Țeret-Șaharul, în muntele văii,
And Kiryathayim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-hashachar on the mount of the valley,
20 Și Bet-Peor și Asdod-Pisga și Bet-Ieșimot,
And Beth-pe'or, and the declivities of Pisgah, and Beth-hayeshimoth,
21 Și toate cetățile câmpiei și toată împărăția lui Sihon, împăratul amoriților, care domnea la Hesbon, pe care l-a bătut Moise, pe el și pe prinții Madianului; pe Evi și pe Rechem și pe Țur și pe Hur și pe Reba, care erau conducători ai lui Sihon, locuitori în țară.
And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned in Cheshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Chur, and Reba', the dukes of Sichon, the dwellers of the country.
22 Pe Balaam, fiul lui Beor, ghicitorul, l-au ucis copiii lui Israel, și el a fost printre cei uciși cu sabia de către ei.
And Bil'am the son of Be'or, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.
23 Și granița copiilor lui Ruben a fost Iordanul și malul lui. Aceasta era moștenirea copiilor lui Ruben, după familiile lor, cetățile și satele lor.
And the boundary of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and its bordering territory. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Și Moise a dat o moștenire tribului lui Gad, copiilor lui Gad, după familiile lor.
And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad according to their families;
25 Și ținutul lor a fost Iaezer și toate cetățile Galaadului și jumătate din țara copiilor lui Amon până la Aroer, care este în dreptul Rabei;
And their territory was Ya'zer, and all the cities of Gil'ad, and half the land of the children of 'Ammon, up to 'Aro'er that is before Rabbah;
26 Și de la Hesbon până la Ramat-Mițpa și Betonim și de la Mahanaim până la ținutul Debirului;
And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim up to the border of Debir;
27 Și în vale, Bet-Haram și Bet-Nimra și Sucot și Țafon, rămășița împărăției lui Sihon, împăratul Hesbonului, Iordanul și malul lui până la capătul mării Chinereta, dincolo de Iordan, spre est.
And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Jordan and its bordering territory, up to the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.
28 Aceasta este moștenirea copiilor lui Gad, după familiile lor, cetățile și satele lor.
This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities and their villages.
29 Și Moise a dat o moștenire jumătății tribului lui Manase; și aceasta era moștenirea jumătății tribului copiilor lui Manase, după familiile lor,
And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Menasseh; and it belonged to the half tribe of the children of Menasseh after their families;
30 Ținutul lor a fost de la Mahanaim, tot Basanul, toată împărăția lui Og, împăratul Basanului, și toate satele lui Iair, care sunt în Basan, șaizeci de cetăți.
And their territory was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;
31 Și jumătate din Galaad și Aștarot și Edrei, cetățile împărăției lui Og în Basan, aparțineau copiilor lui Machir, fiul lui Manase, ale jumătății copiilor lui Machir, după familiile lor.
And half Gil'ad and 'Ashtaroth, and Edre'i, the cities of the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, [belonged] unto the children of Machir the son of Menasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir after their families.
32 Acestea sunt cele pe care le-a împărțit Moise ca moștenire în câmpiile Moabului, dincolo de Iordan lângă Ierihon, spre est.
These are they to whom Moses did distribute an inheritance in the plans of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
33 Dar Moise nu a dat moștenire tribului lui Levi; DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel, El este moștenirea lor, așa cum le spusese El.
But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord the God of Israel is himself their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
