Ioan 2
1 Și a treia zi s-a făcut nuntă în Cana Galileii și mama lui Isus era acolo;
And, on the third day, a marriage, took place, in Cana, of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there, —
2 Și la nuntă a fost chemat și Isus și discipolii lui.
and Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, unto the marriage.
3 Și când s-a terminat vinul, mama lui Isus i-a zis: Nu au vin.
And, wine falling short, the mother of Jesus saith unto him—Wine, have they none!
4 Isus i-a spus: Femeie, ce am a face cu tine? Nu mi-a venit încă timpul.
And Jesus saith unto her—What part can I take with thee, O woman? Not yet, hath come, mine hour.
5 Mama lui a spus servitorilor: Faceți orice vă va spune.
His mother saith unto them who are ministering—Whatsoever he may say to you, do!
6 Și acolo erau puse șase vase de piatră, puse conform obiceiului de curățire al iudeilor, care conțineau două sau trei măsuri.
Now there were there, six stone water-vessels, placed, according to the purification of the Jews; holding each, two or three measures.
7 Isus le-a spus: Umpleți vasele cu apă. Și le-au umplut până sus.
Jesus saith unto them—Fill the vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 Și le-a spus: Scoateți acum și duceți-i conducătorului nunții. Și i-au dus.
And he saith unto them—Draw out now, and be bearing unto the master of the feast. And they bare.
9 Și conducătorul nunții, după ce a gustat apa făcută vin și neștiind de unde era, (dar servitorii, care au scos apa, știau), conducătorul nunții a chemat pe mire,
And, when the master of the feast had tasted the water, now made, wine, and knew not whence it was, —though, they who were ministering, knew, even they who had drawn out the water, the master accosteth the bridegroom,
10 Și i-a spus: Orice om pune întâi vin bun și după ce oamenii au băut bine, atunci pune pe cel mai puțin bun; dar tu ai ținut vinul bun până acum.
and saith unto him—Every man, first the good wine, setteth out; and, when they had been well-supplied, the inferior: —Thou, hast kept the good wine until, even now.
11 Acest început al miracolelor l-a făcut Isus în Cana Galileii; și și-a arătat gloria; și discipolii lui au crezut în el.
This, beginning of his signs, did Jesus, in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 După aceasta, s-a coborât la Capernaum, el și mama lui și frații lui și discipolii lui; și au rămas acolo nu multe zile.
After this, he came down into Capernaum, —he, and his mother and brethren, and his disciples; and, there, they abode, not many days.
13 Și paștele iudeilor era aproape și Isus a urcat la Ierusalim,
And, near, was the passover of the Jews; and, Jesus, went up unto Jerusalem.
14 Și a găsit în templu pe cei ce vindeau boi și oi și porumbei și pe schimbătorii de bani șezând jos;
And he found, in the temple, them that were selling oxen and sheep and doves, also the money-changers sitting.
15 Și, făcând un bici de frânghii, i-a scos pe toți afară din templu, și oile și boii, și a vărsat banii schimbătorilor și le-a răsturnat mesele,
And, making a scourge out of rushes, all of them, thrust he forth out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and, the money-changers’ small coins, poured he forth, and, the tables, he overturned;
16 Și a spus celor ce vindeau porumbei: Luați acestea de aici, nu faceți din casa Tatălui meu o casă de comerț.
and unto them who were selling, the doves, he said—Take these things hence! Be not making, the house of my Father, a house of merchandise.
17 Și discipolii lui și-au amintit că este scris: Zelul casei tale m-a mâncat.
His disciples remembered that it was written—The zeal of thy house, eateth me up.
18 Atunci iudeii au răspuns și i-au zis: Ce semn ne arăți nouă, văzând că faci acestea?
The Jews therefore answered, and said unto him, What sign, dost thou point out to us, in that, these things, thou doest?
19 Isus a răspuns și le-a zis: Distrugeți templul acesta și în trei zile îl voi ridica.
Jesus answered, and said unto them—Take down this shrine, and, in three days, will I raise it.
20 Atunci iudeii au spus: Patruzeci și șase de ani a fost templul acesta în construcție și tu îl vei ridica în trei zile?
The Jews, therefore, said—In forty and six years, was this shrine built. And, thou, in three days, wilt raise it!
21 Dar el le vorbea despre templul trupului său.
But, he, was speaking concerning the shrine of his body.
22 De aceea, când a înviat dintre morți, discipolii lui și-au amintit că le spusese aceasta; și au crezut scriptura și cuvântul pe care îl spusese Isus.
When, therefore, he had been raised from among the dead, his disciples remembered, that, this, he had been saying; and they believed in the Scripture, and in the word which Jesus had spoken.
23 Dar când era în Ierusalim, la paște, la sărbătoare, mulți au crezut în numele lui, când vedeau miracolele pe care le făcea.
Now, when he was in Jerusalem, during the passover, during the feast, many, believed on his name, viewing his signs which he was doing.
24 Dar Isus însuși nu li s-a încredințat, pentru că îi cunoștea pe toți,
Jesus himself, however, was not trusting himself unto them, by reason of his understanding them all,
25 Și nu a avut nevoie ca să îi aducă cineva mărturie despre om, fiindcă știa ce era în om.
and because he had, no need, that anyone should bear witness concerning man; for, he, understood what was in man.
