Iov 2
1 Din nou a fost o zi când fiii lui Dumnezeu au venit să se prezinte înaintea DOMNULUI și Satan a venit de asemenea printre ei să se prezinte înaintea DOMNULUI.
And it was the day and they came [the] sons of God to present themselves on Yahweh and he came also the adversary in midst of them to present himself on Yahweh.
2 Și DOMNUL i-a spus lui Satan: De unde vii? Și Satan a răspuns DOMNULUI și a zis: De la cutreierarea pământului și de la umblarea în sus și în jos pe acesta.
And he said Yahweh to the adversary where? from this are you coming and he answered the adversary Yahweh and he said from roving about on the earth and from going about on it.
3 Și DOMNUL i-a spus lui Satan: Ai luat aminte la servitorul meu Iov, că nu este niciunul asemenea lui pe pământ, un om desăvârșit și integru, unul care se teme de Dumnezeu și evită răul? Și totuși el își ține strâns integritatea, cu toate că mă stârnești împotriva lui, să îl nimicesc fără motiv.
And he said Yahweh to the adversary ¿ have you set heart your to servant my Job for there not [is] like him on the earth a man blameless and upright fearing God and [who] turns aside from evil and still he [is] keeping hold on integrity his and you incited me against him to ruin him without cause.
4 Și Satan a răspuns DOMNULUI și a zis: Piele pentru piele, da, tot ce are un om, va da pentru viața lui.
And he answered the adversary Yahweh and he said skin for skin and all that [belongs] to the man he will give for life his.
5 Dar întinde-ți mâna acum și atinge-i osul și carnea și te va blestema în față.
But stretch out please hand your and touch bone his and flesh his if not to face your he will bless you.
6 Și DOMNUL i-a spus lui Satan: Iată, el este în mâna ta, numai cruță-i viața.
And he said Yahweh to the adversary there he [is] in hand your surely life his preserve.
7 Astfel a plecat Satan din prezența DOMNULUI și a lovit pe Iov cu ulcere aspre de la talpa piciorului până în creștetul său.
And he went out the adversary from with [the] presence of Yahweh and he struck Job with boil[s] bad from [the] sole of foot his (and to *Q(K)*) scalp his.
8 Și el și-a luat un ciob ca să se scarpine cu el; și a șezut în cenușă.
And he took for himself a potsherd to scrape himself with it and he [was] sitting in [the] midst the ash[es].
9 Atunci soția lui i-a spus: Încă îți păstrezi integritatea? Blestemă pe Dumnezeu și mori.
And she said to him wife his [are] still? you keeping hold on integrity your bless God and die.
10 Dar el i-a spus: Tu vorbești precum vorbește una dintre femeile proaste. Ce? Să primim binele din mâna lui Dumnezeu și să nu primim răul? În toată aceasta Iov nu a păcătuit cu buzele sale.
And he said to her as speaks one of the foolish women you are speaking also the good will we accept? from with God and the evil not will we accept? in all this not he sinned Job with lips his.
11 Și când cei trei prieteni ai lui Iov au auzit despre tot acest rău ce a venit peste el, au venit fiecare de la locul lui; Elifaz temanitul și Bildad șuhitul și Țofar naamatitul; căci se înțeleseseră împreună să vină să jelească cu el și să îl mângâie.
And they heard [the] three - [the] friends of Job all the evil this that it had come on him and they came each one from own place his Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite and they met by appointment together to come to show sympathy to him and to comfort him.
12 Și când și-au ridicat ochii de departe și nu l-au cunoscut și-au ridicat vocile și au plâns; și și-au rupt fiecare mantaua lui și au împrăștiat țărână spre cer, peste capetele lor.
And they lifted up eyes their from a distance and not they recognized him and they lifted up voice their and they wept and they tore each one robe his and they sprinkled dust on heads their the heavens towards.
13 Astfel au șezut cu el pe pământ șapte zile și șapte nopți și niciunul nu i-a vorbit un cuvânt, pentru că au văzut că mâhnirea lui era foarte mare.
And they sat with him to the ground seven days and seven nights and not [anyone was] speaking to him a word for they saw that it was great the pain exceedingly.
