Ieremia 10
1 Ascultați cuvântul pe care DOMNUL vi-l vorbește, casă a lui Israel;
Hear the word which he has spoken Yahweh to you O house of Israel.
2 Astfel spune DOMNUL: Nu învățați calea păgânilor și nu vă descurajați la semnele cerurilor, pentru că păgânii sunt îngroziți de ele.
Thus - he says Yahweh [the] way of the nations may not you learn and from [the] signs of the heavens may not you be dismayed for they are dismayed the nations from them.
3 Pentru că obiceiurile popoarelor sunt deșertăciune, pentru că unul taie un copac din pădure, lucrarea mâinilor meșteșugarului, cu securea.
For [the] customs of the peoples [is] futility it for a tree from a forest someone has cut down it [the] work of [the] hands of a craftsman with tool.
4 Ei îl împodobesc cu argint și cu aur; îl fixează cu cuie și cu ciocane, ca să nu se miște.
With silver and with gold he beautifies it with nails and with hammers they make strong them and not it will wobble.
5 Ei sunt drepți ca un palmier, dar nu vorbesc; trebuie să fie cărați, deoarece nu pot merge singuri. Nu vă temeți de ei; căci nu pot face rău și nici nu este în puterea lor să facă bine.
[are] like A scarecrow of a cucumber field they and not they speak certainly they are carried for not they walk may not you be afraid from them for not they do harm and also [is] doing good there not with them.
6 Deoarece nu este nimeni asemenea ție, DOAMNE; tu ești mare și numele tău este mare în putere.
From there not [is] like you O Yahweh [are] great you and [is] great name your in strength.
7 Cine nu s-ar teme de tine, Împărate al națiunilor? Pentru că ție ți se cuvine teama; deoarece printre toți înțelepții națiunilor și în toate împărățiile lor, nu este nimeni asemenea ție.
Who? not will he fear you O king of the nations for for you it is befitting that among all [the] wise [people] of the nations and among all kingdom their from there not [is] like you.
8 Dar ei sunt cu toții neghiobi și nebuni; trunchiul este o doctrină a deșertăciunilor.
And in one they are stupid and they may be foolish [the] correction of futilities [is] wood it.
9 Argintul întins în plăci este adus din Tarsis și aurul din Ufaz, lucrarea meșteșugarului și a mâinilor topitorului; albastru și purpuriu este îmbrăcămintea lor; toate sunt lucrarea celor iscusiți.
Silver beaten from Tarshish it is brought and gold from Uphaz [the] work of a craftsman and [the] hands of a metalsmith [is] violet stuff and purple clothing their [are the] work of skillful [people] all of them.
10 Dar DOMNUL este adevăratul Dumnezeu, el este Dumnezeul cel viu și un împărat veșnic; la furia lui pământul se va cutremura și națiunile nu vor fi în stare să suporte indignarea lui.
And Yahweh [is] God truth he [is] God living and king of perpetuity from wrath his it shakes the earth and not they will endure nations indignation his.
11 Astfel să le spuneți: Dumnezeii care nu au făcut cerurile și pământul, ei, chiar ei, vor pieri de pe pământ și de sub aceste ceruri.
Like this you will say to them gods the who heavens the and earth the not they made may they perish from earth the and from under heavens the these.
12 El a făcut pământul prin puterea lui, el a întemeiat lumea prin înțelepciunea lui și a întins cerurile prin discernământul lui.
[he] made [the] earth By power his [he] established [the] world by wisdom his and by understanding his he stretched out [the] heavens.
13 Când își înalță vocea, o mulțime de ape sunt în ceruri, și el face aburii să se înalțe de la marginile pământului; el face fulgere împreună cu ploaia și scoate vântul din tezaurele lui.
To [the] sound of giving forth he a tumult of waters in the heavens and he made come up clouds from [the] end of (the earth *Q(K)*) lightning for the rain he makes and he brought out [the] wind from storehouses his.
14 Fiecare este neghiob în cunoaștere; fiecare topitor este încurcat de chipul cioplit; căci chipul lui turnat este falsitate și nu este suflare în ele.
He is stupid every person from knowledge he has been put to shame every metalsmith from [the] idol for [is] deception molten image his and not breath [is] in them.
15 Sunt deșertăciune și lucrarea înșelătoriilor; vor pieri în timpul cercetării lor.
[are] futility They a work of mockery at [the] time of punishment their they will perish.
16 Partea lui Iacob nu este ca ei, pentru că el este făuritorul a toate lucrurile; și Israel este toiagul moștenirii lui: DOMNUL oștirilor este numele lui.
Not [is] like these [the] portion of Jacob for [is [the] one who] formed everything he and Israel [is] [the] tribe of inheritance his [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.
17 Strânge-ți lucrurile tale din țară, locuitor al fortăreței.
Gather up from [the] ground bundle your (O [you who] dwell *Q(K)*) in the siege.
18 Pentru că astfel spune DOMNUL: Iată, de data aceasta voi azvârli pe locuitorii țării și îi voi strâmtora, ca ei să afle cum este.
For thus he says Yahweh here I [am] about to hurl forth [the] inhabitants of the land at the time this and I will cause distress to them so that they may find.
19 Vai mie din cauza vătămării mele! Rana mea este apăsătoare; dar eu am spus: Cu adevărat aceasta este o durere și trebuie să o sufăr.
Woe! to me on fracture my [is] severe wound my and I I said surely this [is] a sickness and I will endure it.
20 Cortul meu este prădat și toate frânghiile mele sunt rupte; copiii mei au ieșit de la mine și nu mai sunt; nu mai este nimeni să îmi întindă cortul și să îmi ridice perdele.
Tent my it has been devastated and all tent cords my they have been snapped children my they have gone out from me and there not [are] they there not [is one who] pitches again tent my and [one who] raises tent curtains my.
21 Pentru că păstorii au devenit neghiobi și nu l-au căutat pe DOMNUL; de aceea nu vor prospera și toate turmele lor vor fi împrăștiate.
For they have behaved stupidly the shepherds and Yahweh not they have sought there-fore not they have prospered and all flock their it has been scattered.
22 Iată, zgomotul unui zvon a venit și o mare răscoală din țara de nord, ca să prefacă cetățile lui Iuda într-un pustiu și o vizuină de dragoni.
[the] sound of A report there! [it is] coming and a din great from a land of [the] north to make [the] cities of Judah a desolation a habitation of jackals.
23 DOAMNE, știu că nu în om este calea sa; nu ține de omul care umblă să își îndrepte pașii săi.

24 Corectează-mă, DOAMNE, dar cu judecată, nu în mânia ta, ca nu cumva să mă nimicești.
Correct me O Yahweh only in justice may not [it be] in anger your lest you should diminish me.
25 Toarnă-ți furia asupra păgânilor care nu te cunosc și asupra familiilor care nu cheamă numele tău, pentru că l-au mâncat pe Iacob și l-au înghițit și l-au mistuit și i-au pustiit locuința.
Pour out rage your on the nations which not they have known you and on clans which on name your not they have called for they have consumed Jacob and they have consumed him and they have made an end of him and habitation his they have devastated.
