Isaia 65
1 Sunt căutat de cei ce nu au întrebat de mine; am fost găsit de cei ce nu mă căutau; am spus: Iată-mă, iată-mă, unei naţiuni care nu a fost chemată după numele meu.
I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.
2 Mi-am întins mâinile toată ziua spre un popor răzvrătit, care umblă într-o cale care nu era bună, după propriile lor gânduri;
I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:
3 Un popor ce mă provoacă la mânie continuu chiar în faţa mea; care sacrifică în grădini şi arde tămâie pe altare de cărămidă;
A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.
4 Care rămâne printre morminte şi găzduieşte în cavouri, mâncând carne de porc şi zeamă de urâciuni este [în] vasele lor;
Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.
5 Ei, care spun: Stai singur, nu te apropia de mine, căci sunt mai sfânt decât tine. Aceştia sunt un fum în nările mele, un foc ce arde toată ziua.
Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.
6 Iată, este scris înaintea mea, nu voi păstra tăcere, ci voi răsplăti, voi răsplăti în sânul lor,
Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.
7 Nelegiuirile voastre şi nelegiuirile tuturor părinţilor voştri, spune DOMNUL, care au ars tămâie pe munţi şi m-au blasfemiat pe dealuri, de aceea le voi măsura în sân lucrarea lor din trecut.
Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.
8 Astfel spune DOMNUL: Precum vinul nou se găseşte în ciorchine, precum unul spune: Nu îl nimici; căci o binecuvântare este în el; tot astfel voi face de dragul servitorilor mei, ca să nu îi nimicesc pe toţi.
Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.
9 Şi voi scoate o sămânţă din Iacob şi din Iuda un moştenitor al munţilor mei, şi aleşii mei vor moşteni aceasta şi servitorii mei vor locui acolo.
But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.
10 Şi Saronul va fi un staul pentru turme şi valea lui Acor un loc pentru vite să se întindă, pentru poporul ce m-a căutat.
And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.
11 Dar voi sunteţi cei care părăsesc pe DOMNUL, care uită muntele meu sfânt, care pregătesc o masă pentru ceata aceea şi care turnaţi darul de băutură acelui număr.
But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.
12 De aceea vă voi număra pentru sabie şi vă veţi apleca cu toţii la măcel, deoarece când am chemat, nu aţi răspuns; când am vorbit, nu aţi auzit; ci aţi făcut rău în ochii mei şi aţi ales aceea în care nu m-am desfătat.
Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.
13 De aceea astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Iată, servitorii mei vor mânca, dar voi veţi flămânzi; iată, servitorii mei vor bea, dar voi veţi înseta; iată, servitorii mei se vor bucura, dar voi vă veţi ruşina;
Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.
14 Iată, servitorii mei vor cânta de bucuria inimii, dar voi veţi plânge de tristeţea inimii şi veţi urla de chinuirea duhului.
Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.
15 Şi veţi lăsa numele vostru ca un blestem aleşilor mei, fiindcă Domnul DUMNEZEU te va ucide şi va da servitorilor săi alt nume,
And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
16 Așa că cel ce se binecuvântează pe pământ se va binecuvânta în Dumnezeul adevărului; şi cel ce jură pe pământ va jura pe Dumnezeul adevărului; deoarece tulburările trecute sunt uitate şi pentru că ei sunt ascunşi de la ochii mei.
He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.
17 Căci, iată, eu fac noi ceruri şi un nou pământ, şi cele dinainte nu vor mai fi amintite, nici nu vor mai veni în minte.
For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.
18 Dar veseliţi-vă şi bucuraţi-vă pentru totdeauna în ceea ce fac; căci, iată, fac Ierusalimul o bucurie şi poporul ei, o veselie.
But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,
19 Şi mă voi bucura în [cetatea] Ierusalimului şi mă voi veseli în poporul meu, şi vocea plângerii nu va mai fi auzită în ea, nici vocea plânsului.
And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.
20 Nu va mai fi acolo un prunc cu zile puţine, nici bătrân care să nu îşi împlinească zilele, căci cine va muri în vârstă de o sută de ani va fi copil; dar păcătosul, în vârstă de o sută de ani, va fi blestemat.
There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.
21 Iar ei vor construi case şi le vor locui; şi vor sădi vii şi vor mânca rodul lor.
And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.
22 Nu vor construi şi un altul să locuiască; nu vor sădi şi un altul să mănânce, căci precum zilele unui arbore sunt zilele poporului meu şi aleşii mei se vor bucura mult de lucrarea mâinilor lor.
They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.
23 Nu vor osteni în zadar, nici nu vor naşte pentru necaz; fiindcă sunt sămânţa binecuvântaţilor DOMNULUI şi urmaşii lor cu ei.
They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.
24 Şi se va întâmpla, că înainte ca ei să cheme, eu voi răspunde; şi în timp ce ei încă vorbesc, eu voi auzi.
Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.
25 Lupul şi mielul vor paşte împreună şi leul va mânca paie ca boul, şi ţărână va fi mâncarea şarpelui. Nu vor face rău nici nu vor nimici în tot muntele meu sfânt, spune DOMNUL.
The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.
