Isaia 27
1 În acea zi, DOMNUL cu sabia lui apăsătoare şi mare şi puternică va pedepsi leviatanul, şarpele străpungător, chiar leviatanul, acel şarpe strâmb; şi va ucide dragonul care este în mare.
In that day the Lord with his sore and great and mightie sword shall visite Liuiathan, that pearcing serpent, euen Liuiathan, that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2 În acea zi cântaţi-i: Vie cu vin roşu.
In that daye sing of the vineyarde of redde wine.
3 Eu, DOMNUL, o păzesc; o voi uda în fiecare clipă; ca nimeni să nu o vatăme, o voi ţine noapte şi zi.
I the Lord doe keepe it: I will water it euery moment: least any assaile it, I will keepe it night and day.
4 Furie nu este în mine; cine va pune mărăcinii şi spinii împotriva mea în bătălie? Eu aş trece prin ei, i-aş arde în întregime.
Anger is not in mee: who would set the briers and the thornes against me in battel? I would go through them, I would burne them together.
5 Sau, să îmi apuce tăria, ca să facă pace cu mine, da el va face pace cu mine.
Or will he feele my strength, that he may make peace with me, and be at one with me?
6 El îi va face pe cei care vin din Iacob să prindă rădăcină; Israel va înflori şi înmuguri şi va umple faţa lumii cu rod.
Hereafter, Iaakob shall take roote: Israel shall florish and growe, and the world shall be filled with fruite.
7 L-a lovit el, aşa cum a lovit pe cei ce l-au lovit? Sau este el ucis conform măcelăririi celor ce sunt ucişi de el?
Hath hee smitten him as hee smote those that smote him? or is hee slaine according to the slaughter of them that were slaine by him?
8 Tu te vei certa cu ea cu măsură când se întinde; el opreşte vântul său aspru în ziua vântului de est.
In measure in the branches thereof wilt thou contende with it, when he bloweth with his rough winde in the day of the East winde.
9 De aceea prin aceasta va fi nelegiuirea lui Iacob îndepărtată; şi acesta este tot rodul pentru a înlătura păcatul lui; când el face toate pietrele altarului ca pietre de var care sunt sfărâmate în bucăţi, dumbrăvile şi chipurile nu vor sta în picioare.
By this therefore shall the iniquitie of Iaakob be purged, and this is all the fruit, the taking away of his sinne: whe he shall make all the stones of the altars, as chalke stones broken in pieces, that the groues and images may not stand vp.
10 Totuşi cetatea apărată va fi pustiită [şi] locuinţa părăsită şi lăsată asemenea unui pustiu, acolo va paşte viţelul şi acolo se va culca şi va mistui ramurile acesteia.
Yet the defenced citie shalbe desolate, and the habitation shalbe forsaken, and left like a wildernes. There shall the calfe feede, and there shall he lie, and consume the branches thereof.
11 Când crengile acesteia se ofilesc, vor fi rupte, femeile vor veni [şi] le vor da foc, căci este un popor fără înţelegere; de aceea cel ce i-a făcut nu va avea milă de ei şi cel ce i-a format nu le va arăta favoare.
When the boughes of it are drie, they shalbe broken: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of none vnderstading: therefore hee that made them, shall not haue compassion of them, and he that formed them, shall haue no mercie on them.
12 Şi se va întâmpla, în acea zi, că DOMNUL va treiera de la canalul râului până la pârâul Egiptului şi veţi fi adunaţi unul câte unul, voi copiii lui Israel.
And in that day shall the Lord thresh from the chanell of the Riuer vnto the riuer of Egypt, and ye shalbe gathered, one by one, O children of Israel.
13 Şi se va întâmpla, în acea zi, că marea trâmbiţă va suna şi cei care erau gata să piară în ţara Asiriei şi proscrişii din ţara Egiptului, vor veni şi se vor închina DOMNULUI în muntele sfânt, la Ierusalim.
In that day also shall the great trumpet be blowen, and they shall come, which perished in the land of Asshur: and they that were chased into the lande of Egypt, and they shall worship the Lord in the holy Mount at Ierusalem.
