Geneză 8

1 Şi Dumnezeu şi-a adus aminte de Noe şi de fiecare vieţuitoare şi de toate vitele care erau cu el în arcă; şi Dumnezeu a făcut să treacă un vânt peste pământ şi apele s-au retras;

And god remebred Noe and all ye beastes and all ye catell yt were with hi in ye arke And god made a wynde to blow vppo ye erth and ye waters ceased:

2 De asemenea fântânile adâncului şi ferestrele cerului au fost închise şi ploaia din cer a fost oprită;

ad ye fountaynes of the depe ad the wyndowes of heave were stopte and the rayne of heaven was forbidde

3 Şi apele se retrăgeau de pe pământ continuu şi după ce s-au sfârşit o sută cincizeci de zile, apele s-au împuţinat.

and the waters returned from of ye erth ad abated after the ende of an hundred and. l. dayes.

4 Şi arca s-a aşezat în a şaptea lună, în a şaptesprezecea zi a lunii, pe munţii Ararat.

And the arke rested vppo the mountayns of Ararat the. xvij. daye of the. vij. moneth.

5 Şi apele au scăzut continuu până în luna a zecea: în luna a zecea, în prima zi a lunii, s-au văzut vârfurile munţilor.

And the waters went away ad decreased vntyll the x. moneth. And the fyrst daye of the tenth moneth the toppes of the mounteyns appered.

6 Şi s-a întâmplat, după ce s-au sfârşit patruzeci de zile, că Noe a deschis fereastra arcei pe care o făcuse,

And after the ende of. xl. dayes. Noe opened the wyndow of the arke which he had made

7 Şi a trimis înainte un corb, care a ieşit şi a mers încolo şi încoace, până când au secat apele de pe pământ.

ad sent forth a raven which went out ever goinge and cominge agayne vntyll the waters were dreyed vpp vppon the erth

8 De asemenea a trimis de la el un porumbel, să vadă dacă apele s-au retras de pe faţa pământului;

Then sent he forth a doue from hym to wete whether the waters were fallen from of the erth.

9 Dar porumbelul nu a găsit odihnă pentru talpa piciorului său şi s-a întors la el în arcă, pentru că apele erau pe faţa întregului pământ; atunci a întins mâna şi l-a luat şi l-a dus la el în arcă.

And when the doue coude fynde no restinge place for hyr fote she returned to him agayne vnto the arke for the waters were vppon the face of all the erth. And he put out hys honde and toke her and pulled hyr to hym in to the arke

10 Şi a mai stat alte şapte zile şi din nou a trimis porumbelul afară din arcă;

And he abode yet. vij. dayes mo and sent out the doue agayne out of the arke

11 Şi porumbelul a venit la el seara şi, iată, în ciocul lui era o frunză de măslin proaspăt ruptă, aşa că Noe a cunoscut că apele s-au retras de pe pământ.

And the doue came to hym agayne aboute eventyde and beholde: There was in hyr mouth a lefe of an olyve tre which she had plucked wherby Noe perceaved that the waters wer abated vppon the erth.

12 Şi a mai stat alte şapte zile şi a trimis porumbelul, care nu s-a mai întors la el.

And he taried yet. vij. other dayes and sent forth the doue which from thence forth came no more agayne to him.

13 Şi s-a întâmplat în anul şase sute şi unu, în prima lună, în prima zi a lunii, apele au secat de pe pământ; şi Noe a ridicat acoperişul arcei şi a privit şi, iată, faţa pământului era uscată.

And it came to passe the syxte hundred and one yere and the fyrst daye of the fyrst moneth that the waters were dryed vpp apon the erth. And Noe toke off the hatches of the arke and loked: And beholde the face of the erth was drye.

14 Şi în a doua lună, în a douăzeci şi şaptea zi a lunii, pământul a fost uscat.

so by the. xxvij. daye of the seconde moneth the erth was drye.

15 Şi Dumnezeu i-a vorbit lui Noe, spunând:

And God spake vnto Noe saynge:

16 Ieşi din arcă, tu şi soţia ta şi fiii tăi şi soţiile fiilor tăi cu tine.

come out of the arcke both thou and thy wyfe ad thy sonnes and thy sonnes wyues with the.

17 Scoate împreună cu tine fiecare vieţuitoare care este cu tine, a toată făptura, deopotrivă pasăre şi vită şi fiecare târâtoare care se târăşte pe pământ, ca acestea să nască abundent pe pământ şi să fie roditoare şi să se înmulţească pe pământ.

And all the beastes that are with the whatsoever flesh it be both foule and catell and all maner wormes that crepe on the erth brynge out with the and let them moue growe ad multiplye vppon the erth.

18 Şi Noe a ieşit şi fiii lui şi soţia lui şi soţiile fiilor lui cu el;

And Noe came out ad his sonnes and his wyfe and his sonnes wyues with hym.

19 Fiecare fiară, fiecare târâtoare şi fiecare pasăre şi orice se târăşte pe pământ, după felurile lor, au ieşit afară din arcă.

And all the beastes and all the wormes and all the foules and all that moved vppon the erth came also out of the arke all of one kynde together.

20 Şi Noe a zidit un altar DOMNULUI şi a luat din fiecare fiară curată şi din fiecare pasăre curată şi a adus ofrande arse pe altar.

And Noe made an aulter vnto the LORDE and toke of all maner of clene beastes and all maner of clene foules and offred sacrifyce vppon the aulter.

21 Şi DOMNUL a mirosit o aromă dulce şi DOMNUL a spus în inima sa: Nu voi mai blestema din nou pământul vreodată din cauza omului, pentru că imaginaţia inimii omului este facere de rău din tinereţea lui, nici nu voi mai lovi din nou vreodată fiecare vieţuitoare, aşa cum am făcut.

And the LORDE smellyd a swete savoure and sayd in his hert: I wyll henceforth no more curse the erth for mannes sake for the imagynacion of mannes hert is evell even from the very youth of hym. Morover I wyll not destroy from henceforth all that lyveth as I haue done.

22 Cât timp pământul rămâne, semănatul şi seceratul şi frig şi arşiţă şi vară şi iarnă şi zi şi noapte nu vor înceta.

Nether shall sowynge tyme and harvest colde and hete somere and wynter daye and nyghte ceasse as longe as the erth endureth.

A Dove is Sent Forth from the Ark
