Geneză 17
1 Şi când Avram era în vârstă de nouăzeci şi nouă de ani, DOMNUL s-a arătat lui Avram şi i-a spus: Eu sunt Dumnezeul cel Atotputernic, umblă înaintea mea şi fii desăvârşit.
And he was Abram a son of ninety year[s] and nine years and he appeared Yahweh to Abram and he said to him I [am] God Almighty walk about before me and be blameless.
2 Şi voi face legământul meu între mine şi tine şi te voi înmulţi peste măsură.
So let me make covenant my between me and between you so I may increase you with muchness muchness.
3 Şi Avram a căzut cu faţa sa la pământ şi Dumnezeu a vorbit cu el, spunând:
And he fell Abram on face his and he spoke with him God saying.
4 Cât despre mine, iată, legământul meu este cu tine şi tu vei fi tată al multor naţiuni.
I here! covenant my [is] with you and you will become a father of a multitude of nations.
5 Şi nu va mai fi chemat numele tău Avram, ci numele tău va fi Avraam, pentru că te-am făcut tată al multor naţiuni.
And not it will be called again name your Abram and it will be name your Abraham for a father of a multitude of nations I have made you.
6 Şi te voi face peste măsură de roditor şi voi face naţiuni din tine şi împăraţi vor ieşi din tine.
And I will make fruitful you with muchness muchness and I will make you into nations and kings from you they will come out.
7 Şi voi întemeia legământul meu între mine şi tine şi sămânţa ta după tine în generaţiile lor, ca legământ fără de sfârşit, pentru a-ţi fi Dumnezeu ţie şi seminţei tale după tine.
And I will establish covenant my between me and between you and between offspring your after you for generations their to a covenant of perpetuity to become for you God and for offspring your after you.
8 Şi îţi voi da ţie şi seminţei tale după tine ţara în care eşti străin, toată ţara lui Canaan, ca stăpânire fără de sfârşit; şi voi fi Dumnezeul lor.
And I will give to you and to offspring your after you - [the] land of sojournings your all [the] land of Canaan to a possession of perpetuity and I will become for them God.
9 Şi Dumnezeu i-a spus lui Avraam: Tu, aşadar, vei ţine legământul meu, tu şi sămânţa ta după tine, în generaţiile lor.
And he said God to Abraham and you covenant my you will keep you and offspring your after you for generations their.
10 Acesta este legământul meu, pe care voi îl veţi ţine, între mine şi tine şi sămânţa ta după tine: Fiecare copil de parte bărbătească dintre voi va fi circumcis.
This [is] covenant my which you will keep between me and between you and between offspring your after you they will be circumcised of you every male.
11 Şi veţi circumcide pielea prepuţului vostru şi aceasta va fi un semn al legământului dintre mine şi voi.
And you will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin your and it will become a sign of [the] covenant between me and between you.
12 Şi cel ce este în vârstă de opt zile va fi circumcis între voi, fiecare copil de parte bărbătească în generaţiile voastre, cel născut în casă, sau cumpărat cu bani de la vreun străin, care nu este din sămânţa ta.
And a son of eight days he will be circumcised of you every male for generations your one born of [the] household and a purchase of silver from every son of foreignness who not [is] one of offspring your he.
13 Cel născut în casa ta şi cel cumpărat cu banii tăi trebuie să fie circumcis, şi legământul meu va fi în carnea voastră ca legământ fără de sfârşit.
Definitely - he will be circumcised [the] one born of household your and [the] purchase of silver your and it will be covenant my in flesh your to a covenant of perpetuity.
14 Şi copilul de parte bărbătească necircumcis, a cărui piele a prepuţului său nu este circumcisă, acel suflet va fi stârpit din poporul său; el a rupt legământul meu.
And an uncircumcised - male who not he will be circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin his and it will be cut off the person that from kinspeople its covenant my he has broken.
15 Şi Dumnezeu i-a spus lui Avraam: Cât despre Sarai, soţia ta, nu vei mai chema numele ei Sarai, ci Sara va fi numele ei.
And he said God to Abraham Sarai wife your not you will call name her Sarai for [is] Sarah name her.
16 Şi o voi binecuvânta şi de asemenea îţi voi da un fiu din ea; da, o voi binecuvânta şi ea va fi o mamă de naţiuni, împăraţi de popoare vor ieşi din ea.
And I will bless her and also I will give from her to you a son and I will bless her and she will become nations kings of peoples from her they will be.
17 Atunci Avraam a căzut cu faţa sa la pământ şi a râs şi a spus în inima lui: Îi va fi născut un copil celui ce este în vârstă de o sută de ani? Şi va naşte Sara, care are nouăzeci de ani?
And he fell Abraham on face his and he laughed and he said in heart his ¿ to a son of one hundred year[s] will he be born and or? Sarah ¿ a daughter of ninety year[s] will she bear a child.
18 Şi Avraam i-a spus lui Dumnezeu: O, de ar putea trăi Ismael înaintea ta!
And he said Abraham to God if Ishmael he will live before you.
19 Şi Dumnezeu a spus: Sara, soţia ta, într-adevăr, îţi va naşte un fiu şi îi vei pune numele Isaac; şi voi întemeia legământul meu cu el, ca legământ fără de sfârşit, şi cu sămânţa lui după el.
And he said God but Sarah wife your [is] about to bear to you a son and you will call name his Isaac and I will establish covenant my with him to a covenant of perpetuity for offspring his after him.
20 Şi cât despre Ismael, te-am auzit: Iată, l-am binecuvântat şi îl voi face roditor şi îl voi înmulţi peste măsură, doisprezece prinţi va naşte şi îl voi face o mare naţiune.
And to Ishmael I have heard you here! - I will bless him and I will make fruitful him and I will multiply him with muchness muchness two [plus] ten princes he will father and I will make him into a nation great.
21 Dar legământul meu îl voi întemeia cu Isaac, pe care Sara ţi-l va naşte la timpul cuvenit, în anul viitor.
And covenant my I will establish with Isaac whom she will bear to you Sarah to the time this in the year following.
22 Şi a terminat de vorbit cu el, iar Dumnezeu s-a înălţat de la Avraam.
And he finished to speak with him and he went up God from with Abraham.
23 Şi Avraam a luat pe Ismael, fiul său, şi pe toţi cei născuţi în casa lui şi pe toţi cei cumpăraţi cu banii lui, fiecare parte bărbătească între oamenii casei lui Avraam, şi a circumcis pielea prepuţului lor chiar în aceeaşi zi, aşa cum Dumnezeu îi spusese.
And he took Abraham Ishmael son his and all those born of household his and all [the] purchase of silver his every male among [the] men of [the] household of Abraham and he circumcised [the] flesh of foreskin their on [the] substance of the day this just as he had spoken with him God.
24 Şi Avraam era în vârstă de nouăzeci şi nouă de ani când a fost circumcis în pielea prepuţului său.
And Abraham [was] a son of ninety and nine year[s] when was circumcised he [the] flesh of foreskin his.
25 Şi Ismael, fiul său, avea treisprezece ani când a fost circumcis în pielea prepuţului său.
And Ishmael son his [was] a son of thir-teen year[s] when was circumcised he [the] flesh of foreskin his.
26 Chiar în aceeaşi zi a fost Avraam circumcis şi Ismael, fiul său.
On [the] substance of the day this he was circumcised Abraham and Ishmael son his.
27 Şi toţi oamenii din casa lui, născuţi în casă şi cumpăraţi cu bani de la străin, au fost circumcişi împreună cu el.
And all [the] men of household his one born of [the] household and a purchase of silver from with a son of foreignness they were circumcised with him.
