Ezechiel 4
1 Tu de asemenea, fiu al omului, ia-ți o dală și pune-o înaintea ta și gravează pe ea cetatea, [adică] Ierusalimul;
Thou also sonne of man, take thee a bricke, and lay it before thee, and pourtray vpon it the citie, euen Ierusalem,
2 Și așază asediu împotriva ei și construiește o fortificație împotriva ei și ridică un val de pământ împotriva ei; pune tabăra de asemenea împotriva ei și pune berbeci împotriva ei de jur împrejur.
And lay siege against it, and builde a fort against it, and cast a mount against it: set the campe also against it, and lay engins of warre against it rounde about.
3 Mai mult, ia-ți o tigaie de fier și pune-o [ca] un zid de fier între tine și cetate; și îndreaptă-ți fața împotriva ei și ea va fi asediată, și tu vei așeza asediu împotriva ei. Acesta [va fi] un semn pentru casa lui Israel.
Moreouer, take an yron pan, and set it for a wall of yron betweene thee and the citie, and direct thy face towarde it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it: this shall be a signe vnto the house of Israel.
4 Culcă-te de asemenea pe partea ta stângă și culcă nelegiuirea casei lui Israel peste ea; [conform] cu numărul zilelor cât vei sta culcat pe ea, vei purta nelegiuirea lor.
Sleepe thou also vpon thy left side, and lay the iniquitie of the house of Israel vpon it: according to the nomber of the dayes, that thou shalt sleepe vpon it, thou shalt beare their iniquity.
5 Fiindcă am pus peste tine anii nelegiuirii lor, conform cu numărul zilelor, trei sute nouăzeci de zile; astfel vei purta tu nelegiuirea casei lui Israel.
For I haue layed vpon thee the yeeres of their iniquitie, according to the nomber of the dayes, euen three hundreth and ninetie dayes: so shalt thou beare the iniquitie of the house of Israel.
6 Și după ce le vei fi împlinit, așează-te din nou pe partea ta dreaptă și poartă nelegiuirea casei lui Iuda patruzeci de zile; ți-am rânduit fiecare zi pentru un an.
And when thou hast accomplished them, sleepe againe vpon thy right side, and thou shalt beare the iniquitie of the house of Iudah fourtie dayes: I haue appointed thee a day for a yeere, euen a day for a yeere.
7 De aceea să îți îndrepți fața spre asediul Ierusalimului și brațul tău [va fi] descoperit și vei profeți împotriva lui.
Therefore thou shalt direct thy face towarde the siege of Ierusalem, and thine arme shalbe vncouered, and thou shalt prophesie against it.
8 Și, iată, voi pune funii asupra ta și nu te vei întoarce de pe o parte pe alta, până când vei fi împlinit zilele asediului tău.
And beholde, I will lay bands vpon thee, and thou shalt not turne thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the dayes of thy siege.
9 Ia-ți de asemenea grâu și orz și fasole și linte și mei și alac și pune-le într-un vas și fă-ți pâine din ele, [conform] cu numărul zilelor cât te vei așeza pe [o] parte a ta, trei sute nouăzeci de zile să mănânci din ea.
Thou shalt take also vnto thee wheate, and barley, and beanes, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessell, and make thee bread thereof according to the nomber of the dayes, that thou shalt sleepe vpon thy side: euen three hundreth and ninetie dayes shalt thou eate thereof.
10 Și mâncarea ta, pe care o vei mânca, [va fi] cântărită, douăzeci de șekeli pe zi; o vei mânca din când în când.
And the meate, whereof thou shalt eate, shalbe by weight, euen twenty shekels a day: and from time to time shalt thou eate thereof.
11 Și apa o vei bea de asemenea prin măsură, o a șasea parte dintr-un hin; o vei bea din când în când.
Thou shalt drinke also water by measure, euen the sixt part of an Hin: from time to time shalt thou drinke.
12 Și o vei mânca [precum] turte de orz și o vei coace înaintea ochilor lor cu balega care iese din om.
And thou shalt eate it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in the dongue that commeth out of man, in their sight.
13 Și DOMNUL a spus: Astfel copiii lui Israel își vor mânca pâinea lor pângărită printre neamurile unde îi voi alunga.
And the Lord said, So shall the children of Israel eate their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will cast them.
14 Atunci am spus: Ah, Doamne DUMNEZEULE! Iată, sufletul meu nu a fost pângărit; fiindcă din tinerețea mea până acum nu am mâncat din ceea ce moare de la sine sau din ce este sfâșiat în bucăți; nici nu a intrat carne urâcioasă în gura mea.
Then said I, Ah, Lord God, beholde, my soule hath not bene polluted: for from my youth vp, euen vnto this houre, I haue not eaten of a thing dead, or torne in pieces, neither came there any vncleane flesh in my mouth.
15 Atunci el mi-a spus: Iată, îți dau balegă de vacă în loc de balegă de om, să îți pregătești pâinea cu ea.
Then he said vnto me, Loe, I haue giuen thee bullockes dongue for mans dongue, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
16 Mai mult, el mi-a spus: Fiu al omului, iată, voi frânge toiagul pâinii în Ierusalim; și ei vor mânca pâinea cântărită și cu grijă; și vor bea apa cu măsură și cu înmărmurire;
Moreouer, he said vnto me, Sonne of man, beholde, I will breake the staffe of bread in Ierusalem, and they shall eate bread by weight, and with care, and they shall drinke water by measure, and with astonishment.
17 Ca să le lipsească pâine și apă și să fie înmărmuriți unii cu alții și să fie mistuiți pentru nelegiuirea lor.
Because that bread and water shall faile, they shalbe astonied one with another, and shall consume away for their iniquitie.
