Ezechiel 27
1 Cuvântul DOMNULUI a venit din nou la mine, spunând:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Și tu, fiu al omului, înalță o plângere pentru Tir;
But thou, O son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre;
3 Și spune Tirului: Tu, cel care ești situat la intrarea mării, [care ești] un comerciant pentru popoarele din multe insule: Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Tirule, tu ai spus: Eu [sunt] de o frumusețe desăvârșită.
And say unto Tyre, O thou that art situated at the entrances of the sea, the merchant of the people unto many isles, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, O Tyre, thou hast indeed said, I am perfect in beauty.
4 Granițele tale [sunt] în mijlocul mărilor, constructorii tăi ți-au desăvârșit frumusețea.
In the heart of the seas were thy boundaries, thy builders had perfected thy beauty.
5 Ei ți-au făcut toate scândurile [pentru corăbii] din brazi de Senir; au luat cedri din Liban pentru a face catarge pentru tine.
Of the fir-trees from Senir had they built thee all thy woodwork: cedars from Lebanon had they taken to make masts for thee.
6 [Din] stejarii Basanului ți-au făcut vâslele; ceata de așuriți ți-au făcut băncile [din] fildeș, [adus] din insulele Chitimului.
Of the oaks of Bashan had they made thy oars; thy rudder had they made inlaid with ivory of boxwood, brought out of the isles of the Kittim.
7 In subțire, cu lucrare brodată din Egipt, era ceea ce tu întindeai pentru a fi pânza ta; albastru și purpură din insulele Elișei era ceea ce te acoperea.
Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was thy flag to be unto thee a sign: of blue and purple from the isles of Ellishah was thy cover.
8 Locuitorii Sidonului și ai Arvadului erau marinarii tăi; înțelepții tăi Tirule, [care] erau în tine, erau cârmacii tăi.
The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy oarsmen: thy wise men, O Tyre, that were in thee, these were thy pilots.
9 Bătrânii Ghebalului și [bărbații] lui înțelepți erau în tine reparându-ți [spărturile] tale; toate corăbiile mării cu marinarii lor erau în tine pentru a face schimb cu marfa ta.
The elders of Gebal and her wise men were in thee thy caulkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to carry on thy commerce.
10 Cei din Persia și din Lud și din Put erau în armata ta, bărbații tăi de război; ei își atârnau scutul și coiful în tine; ei îți dădeau frumusețea.
They of Persia and of Lud and of Put were in thy army, thy men of war: the shield and the helmet did they hang up in thee; these gave thee thy elegance.
11 Bărbații Arvadului cu armata ta [erau] pe zidurile tale de jur împrejur și gamadimii erau în turnurile tale; ei își atârnau scuturile pe zidurile tale de jur împrejur; ei îți desăvârșeau frumusețea.
The men of Arvad with thy army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadim were in thy towers: their quivers they hung upon thy walls round about; these made perfect thy beauty.
12 Tarsisul [era] comerciantul tău din cauza mulțimii tuturor [felurilor de] bogății; ei au făcut comerț în târgurile tale cu argint, fier, cositor și plumb.
Tharshish was thy merchant through the abundance of all kind of wealth: with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they supplied thy markets.
13 Iavanul, Tubalul și Meșecul, ei [erau] comercianții tăi: ei făceau comerț cu sufletele oamenilor și vase de aramă în piața ta.
Javan, Thubal, and Meshech; these were thy merchants: with the persons of men and vessels of copper they carried on thy commerce.
14 Cei din casa Togarmei făceau comerț în târgurile tale cu cai și călăreți și catâri.
They of the family of Thogarmah furnished thy supplies in horses and horsemen and mules.
15 Bărbații Dedanului [erau] comercianții tăi; multe insule [erau] marfa mâinii tale; ei îți aduceau colți de fildeș și abanos [ca] dar.
The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles fetched the merchandise from thy place: chamois horns, ivory, and ebony did they bring as presents for thee.
16 Siria [era] comerciantul tău datorită mulțimii mărfurilor tale; ei făceau schimb în târgurile tale cu smaralde, purpură și lucrare brodată și in subțire și corali și agate.
Syria was thy trader by reason of the multitude of thy productions: with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and rubies they made deposits in thy treasuries.
17 Iuda și țara lui Israel [erau] comercianții tăi; ei făceau comerț în piața ta [cu] grâu de Minit și Panag și miere și untdelemn și balsam.
Judah, and the land of Israel, these were thy merchants: in wheat of Minnith, and balsam, and honey, and oil, and balm they carried on thy commerce.
18 Damascul [era] comerciantul tău datorită mulțimii mărfurilor tale, datorită mulțimii tuturor bogățiilor; în vin din Helbon și lână albă.
Damascus was thy trader in the multitude of thy productions, for the multitude of all wealth, with the wine of Chelbon, and white wool.
19 Dan de asemenea și Iavanul mergând încoace și încolo făceau schimb în târgurile tale; fier strălucitor, casie și trestie [mirositoare] erau în piața ta.
Dan also and Javan brought silken goods into thy warehouses: hardened iron, cassia, and calamus came among thy commerce.
20 Dedanul [era] comerciantul tău în învelitori prețioase pentru care.
Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for riding on.
21 Arabia și toți prinții Chedarului făceau schimb cu tine cu miei și berbeci și capre; cu acestea [erau] comercianții tăi.
Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, these were the traders of thy place in lambs, and wethers, and he-goats: in these were they thy traders.
22 Comercianții din Seba și din Raama [erau] comercianții tăi; ei făceau schimb în târgurile tale cu cele mai alese dintre toate mirodeniile și cu toate pietrele prețioase și aur.
The merchants of Sheba and Ra'mah, —these were thy merchants: in the best of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold, they furnished thy supplies.
23 Haranul și Canehul și Edenul, comercianții Sebei, ai Așurului [și] ai Chilmadului [erau] comercianții tăi.
Charan, and Canneh, and 'Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, [and] Kilmad, were thy merchants.
24 Aceștia [erau] comercianți cu toate felurile [de lucruri], cu veșminte albastre și lucrare brodată și cu lăzi cu haine bogate, legate cu funii și făcute din cedru, printre mărfurile tale.
These were thy merchants in ornamental wares, in cloaks of blue, and broidered work, and in chests of damask cloth, bound with cords, and packed in cedar, in thy market-place.
25 Corăbiile Tarsisului cântau despre tine în piața ta; și erai umplut și ai ajuns foarte glorios în mijlocul mărilor.
The ships of Tharshish were thy caravans in thy commerce: and thou wast made full, and becamest very rich in the heart of the seas.
26 Vâslașii tăi te-au adus în ape mari; vântul de est te-a frânt în mijlocul mărilor.
Into great waters brought thee those that were thy rowers: the east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas.
27 Bogățiile tale și târgurile tale, mărfurile tale, marinarii tăi și cârmacii tăi, reparatorii [spărturilor] tale și cei care făceau schimb cu mărfurile tale și toți bărbații tăi de război, care [sunt] în tine și în toată ceata ta, din mijlocul tău, vor cădea în mijlocul mărilor în ziua ruinării tale.
Thy wealth, and thy warehouses, thy commerce, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy caulkers, and the conductors of thy commerce, and all thy men of war that were in thee, and in all thy assemblage which was in the midst of thee, fell into the heart of the seas on the day of thy downfall.
28 Împrejurimile se vor zgudui la sunetul strigătului cârmacilor tăi.
At the sound of the painful cry of thy pilots quake [thy] rural districts.
29 Și toți cei ce mânuiesc vâsla, marinarii [și] toți cârmacii mării vor coborî din corăbiile lor [și] vor sta în picioare pe uscat;
And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, come down from their ships, they stand upon the land;
30 Și vor face ca vocea lor să fie auzită împotriva ta și vor striga cu amărăciune și își vor arunca țărână pe capete, se vor tăvăli în cenușă;
And cause their voice to be heard concerning thee, and cry bitterly, and cast up dust upon their heads, they wallow in the ashes;
31 Și se vor cheli în întregime pentru tine și se vor încinge cu pânză de sac și vor plânge pentru tine cu amărăciune a inimii [și] bocet amar.
And they make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird themselves with sackcloth, and they weep for thee with bitterness of heart in a bitter complaint.
32 Și în bocetul lor vor înălța o plângere pentru tine și te vor plânge, [spunând]: Care [cetate este] ca Tirul, ca acea distrusă în mijlocul mării?
And they take in their wailing a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, Who is like Tyre, who is so utterly destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33 Când mărfurile tale treceau mările, tu săturai multe popoare; tu ai îmbogățit pe împărații pământului cu abundența bogățiilor tale și a mărfurilor tale.
When thy supplies went forth out of the seas, thou didst satisfy many people: with the multitude of thy wealth and of thy commerce thou didst enrich the kings of the earth.
34 În timpul [când] vei fi frânt de mări în adâncurile apelor, mărfurile tale și toată ceata ta din mijlocul tău, vor cădea.
[Now] at the time thou art broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, thy commerce and all thy assemblage fell in the midst of thee.
35 Toți locuitorii insulelor vor fi înmărmuriți din [cauza] ta și împărații lor vor fi foarte înspăimântați, vor fi tulburați în înfățișarea [lor].
All the inhabitants of the isles are astonished at thee, and the hair of their kings stand at an end, grieved are their countenances.
36 Comercianții dintre popoare te vor șuiera; vei fi o teroare și nu [vei] mai [fi].
The traders among the people shall hiss concerning thee: thou wast rendered as though thou hadst not been, and thou shalt not be any more for ever.
