Ezechiel 13
1 Și cuvântul DOMNULUI a venit la mine, spunând:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 Fiu al omului, profețește împotriva profeților lui Israel care profețesc, și spune celor care profețesc din propriile lor inimi: Ascultați cuvântul DOMNULUI;
Son of man. prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, —and say unto them who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Yahweh,
3 Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Vai profeților proști care urmează propriul lor duh și nu au văzut nimic!
Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Alas for the base prophets, —who follow their own spirit and have seen, nothing.
4 Israele, profeții tăi sunt ca vulpile în pustiuri.
As jackals, among ruins, thy prophets O Israel have been.
5 Voi nu ați urcat în spărturi, nici nu ați ridicat îngrăditura pentru casa lui Israel, pentru a sta în picioare în bătălie în ziua DOMNULUI.
Ye have not gone up into the breaches, Nor built a wall about the house of Israel, - to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.
6 Ei au văzut deșertăciune și ghicire mincinoasă, spunând: DOMNUL spune; și DOMNUL nu i-a trimis; și au făcut pe [alții] să spere că vor întări cuvântul.
They have had Visions of falsehood, and Divinations of lies, Who say. Declareth Yahweh, when, Yahweh, hath not sent them, — Yet have they waited for a fulfilling of the word.
7 Nu ați văzut voi o viziune deșartă și nu ați vorbit o ghicire mincinoasă, prin aceea când spuneți: DOMNUL spune [aceasta]; deși eu nu am vorbit?
Is it not a Vision of falsehood, ye have seen, and a Divination of lies, ye have spoken, Since ye are saying. Declareth Yahweh! when I have not spoken?
8 De aceea astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că ați vorbit deșertăciune și ați văzut minciuni, de aceea, iată, eu [sunt] împotriva voastră, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
Therefore Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because ye have spoken falsehood, And have had visions of lies, Therefore behold me! against you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
9 Și mâna mea va fi asupra profeților care văd deșertăciune și care ghicesc minciuni; ei nu vor fi în adunarea poporului meu, nici nu vor fi scriși în scrierea casei lui Israel, nici nu vor intra în țara lui Israel; și voi veți cunoaște că eu [sunt] Domnul DUMNEZEU.
So then my hand shall be against the prophets who have Visions of falsehood and who divine Divinations of lies— In the council of my people, shall they not be found. And in the register of the house of Israel, shall they not be written, And Upon the so of Israel, shall they not enter, — So shall ye know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh,
10 Pentru că, da pentru că au amăgit pe poporul meu, spunând: Pace; și nu [era] pace; și unul construiește un zid și, iată, alții îl tencuiesc cu [mortar] nestins;
Because, yea, even because, they have led astray my people saying. Prosperity! when there was no prosperity, —and one man, was building a partition wall, when there they were! eating it with whitewash
11 Spune celor ce [îl] tencuiesc cu [mortar] nestins că va cădea; va fi o ploaie torențială; și voi, pietre mari de grindină, veți cădea; și un vânt furtunos [îl] va rupe.
Say thou unto them who are coating with whitewash It shall fall, - There hath come an overflowing rain And I will make hail-stones fall, And a tempestuous wind shall break it down.
12 Iată, după ce zidul va fi căzut, nu vi se va spune: Unde [este] tencuiala cu care [l-]ați tencuit?
Lo! when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the coating, wherewith ye coated it?
13 De aceea, astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: [Îl] voi rupe cu un vânt furtunos în furia mea; și va fi o ploaie torențială în mânia mea și pietre mari de grindină în furia [mea], pentru a-[l] mistui.
Therefore Thus saith my Lord, Yahweh, So will I break down with a tempestuous wind. in mine indignation, — And an overflowing rain in mine anger, shall there be, With hailstones in wrath to make an end;
14 Astfel voi dărâma zidul pe care voi l-ați tencuit cu [mortar] nestins și îl voi doborî la pământ, astfel încât temelia acestuia va fi descoperită și el va cădea și voi veți fi mistuiți în mijlocul lui; și veți cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
And I will pull down the wall which ye have coated with whitewash And will bring it unto the ground So shall be discovered its foundation, Yea it shall fall And ye shall come to an end in the midst thereof, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
15 Astfel îmi voi împlini furia asupra zidului și asupra celor ce l-au tencuit cu [mortar] nestins și vă voi spune: Zidul nu [mai este], nici cei care l-au tencuit;
Thus will I bring to an end mine indignation against the wall, and against them who were coating it with whitewash, And will say to you No more is the wall, And no more are they who were coating it:
16 [Adică, ] profeții lui Israel care profețesc referitor la Ierusalim și care văd viziuni de pace pentru el, dar nu [este] pace, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
to wit the prophets of Israel who are prophesying unto Jerusalem, and are seeing, on her behalf, visions of prosperity, — when there is no prosperity, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
17 De asemenea, tu fiu al omului, îndreaptă-ți fața împotriva fiicelor poporului tău, care profețesc din propria lor inimă; și profețește împotriva lor,
And thou, Son of man Set thy face against the daughters of thy people, Those who are prophesying out of their own heart, — And prophesy thou against them;
18 Și spune: Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Vai de [femeile] care cos pernițe pentru toți subțiorii și fac voaluri pentru cap de orice mărime pentru a vâna suflete! Veți vâna voi sufletele poporului meu și veți lăsa în viață [pe cei care vin] la voi?
and say, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Alas! for the women Who sew oracle, cases on all elbows And prepare wraps upon the head of every stature to hunt souls, — the souls ye hunt, are those of my people, Whereas your own souls: , ye keep alive.
19 Și mă veți întina voi printre poporul meu pentru [câteva] mâini pline de orz și pentru bucăți de pâine, ca să ucideți sufletele care nu ar trebui să moară și să lăsați în viață sufletele care nu ar trebui să trăiască, mințind pe poporul meu care ascultă minciunile [voastre]?
Thus have ye profaned me unto my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, Putting to death the souls that should not die, and Keeping alive the souls that should not live, — By your lying to my people, who hearken to lies
20 De aceea, astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Iată, eu [sunt] împotriva pernițelor voastre cu care vânați acolo sufletele pentru a [le] face să zboare, și le voi rupe de la brațele voastre și voi lăsa sufletele să plece, sufletele pe care voi le vânați pentru a [le] face să zboare.
Therefore, Thus saith my Lord Yahweh, Behold me! against your oracle-cases wherewith ye are hunting the souls to make them fly, And I will tear them off your arms, And let go the souls of them whose souls ye are hunting as birds;
21 Voalurile voastre le voi rupe de asemenea și voi elibera pe poporul meu din mâna voastră și ei nu vor mai fi în mâna voastră pentru a fi vânați; și veți cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
And will tear off your wraps, And deliver my people out of your hand, And they shall be no longer in your hand to be hunted; - So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
22 Deoarece cu minciuni ați întristat inima celui drept, pe care eu nu l-am întristat; și ați întărit mâinile celui stricat, ca să nu se întoarcă de la calea lui stricată, promițându-i viața;
Because of the paining of the heart of the righteous man with falsehood, whom, I, have not pained, — And strengthening the hands of the lawless man, that he should not turn from his wicked way. by letting him live
23 De aceea nu veți mai vedea deșertăciune, nici nu veți ghici ghiciri, căci voi elibera pe poporul meu din mâna voastră; și veți cunoaște că eu [sunt] DOMNUL.
Therefore—of falsehood: , shall ye have no vision, And a divination: , shall ye not divine any more, — So will I deliver my people out of your hand, And ye shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
