Efeseni 3
1 Din această cauză eu, Pavel, prizonierul lui Isus Cristos pentru voi, neamurile,
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles...
2 Dacă ați auzit despre administrarea harului lui Dumnezeu care îmi este dat pentru voi;
Surely you have heard about the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you,
3 Cum prin revelație mi-a făcut cunoscut misterul; (așa cum v-am scris înainte pe scurt,
that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.
4 Din care, citind, puteți înțelege cunoașterea mea în misterul lui Cristos),
In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
5 Care în alte veacuri nu a fost făcut cunoscut fiilor oamenilor, așa cum este revelat acum sfinților săi apostoli și profeți prin Duhul;
which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.
6 Că neamurile vor fi co-moștenitoare și ale aceluiași trup și părtașe ale promisiunii lui în Cristos, prin evanghelie;
This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.
7 Căreia am fost făcut servitor, conform cu darul harului lui Dumnezeu dat mie, prin lucrarea efectivă a puterii lui.
I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace, given me through the working of His power.
8 Mie, care sunt mai mic decât cel mai neînsemnat dintre toți sfinții, îmi este dat acest har, să predic printre neamuri bogățiile de nepătruns ale lui Cristos;
Though I am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 Și să fac pe toți să vadă care este părtășia misterului, care de la începutul lumii fusese ascuns în Dumnezeu, care a creat toate prin Isus Cristos; (aiōn g165)
and to illuminate for everyone the stewardship of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. (aiōn g165)
10 Ca să le fie cunoscută acum, principatelor și autorităților în locurile cerești, prin biserică, înțelepciunea atât de felurită a lui Dumnezeu,
His purpose was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,
according to the eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn g165)
12 În care avem cutezanță și acces cu încredere prin credința lui.
In Him and through faith in Him we may enter God’s presence with boldness and confidence.
13 De aceea doresc să nu vă descurajați datorită necazurilor mele pentru voi, care sunt gloria voastră.
So I ask you not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.
14 Din această cauză îmi plec genunchii înaintea Tatălui Domnului nostru Isus Cristos,
... for this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
15 Din care este numită întreaga familie în cer și pe pământ,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
16 Ca să vă dea, conform bogățiilor gloriei sale, să fiți întăriți cu putere prin Duhul lui, în omul dinăuntru,
I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being,
17 Așa încât Cristos să locuiască în inimile voastre prin credință; pentru ca, fiind înrădăcinați și întemeiați în dragoste,
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 Să fiți în stare să înțelegeți cu toți sfinții care este lărgimea și lungimea și adâncimea și înălțimea;
will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth
19 Și să cunoașteți dragostea lui Cristos, care întrece cunoașterea, ca să fiți umpluți cu toată plinătatea lui Dumnezeu.
of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Și celui care este în stare să facă toate peste măsură de abundent, peste tot ce cerem sau gândim, conform puterii care lucrează în noi,
Now to Him who is able to do so much more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,
