2 Regii 18
1 Și s-a întâmplat, în anul al treilea al lui Osea, fiul lui Ela, împăratul lui Israel, că Ezechia, fiul lui Ahaz, împăratul lui Iuda, a început să domnească.
And it was in year three of Hoshea [the] son of Elah [the] king of Israel he became king Hezekiah [the] son of Ahaz [the] king of Judah.
2 El era în vârstă de douăzeci și cinci de ani când a început să domnească; și a domnit douăzeci și nouă de ani în Ierusalim. Numele mamei lui era Abi, fiica lui Zaharia.
A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and twenty and nine year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Abi [the] daughter of Zechariah.
3 Și el a făcut ce era drept înaintea ochilor DOMNULUI, conform cu toate câte David, tatăl său, făcuse.
And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done David ancestor his.
4 El a îndepărtat înălțimile și a sfărâmat idolii și a tăiat dumbrăvile și a spart în bucăți șarpele de aramă, pe care Moise îl făcuse; deoarece până în acele zile copiii lui Israel ardeau tămâie pentru el; și l-a numit Nehuștan.
He - he removed the high places and he broke the sacred pillars and he cut down the Asherah pole and he crushed to pieces [the] snake of bronze which he had made Moses for until the days those they were [the] people of Israel making smoke to it and someone had called it Nehushtan.
5 El s-a încrezut în DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel; astfel încât după el nu a fost nimeni asemenea lui printre toți împărații lui Iuda, nici vreunul care fusese înainte de el.
In Yahweh [the] God of Israel he trusted and after him not anyone was like him among all [the] kings of Judah and [those] who they were before him.
6 Fiindcă el s-a alipit de DOMNUL și nu s-a depărtat de la a-l urma, ci a păzit poruncile lui, pe care DOMNUL le poruncise lui Moise.
And he clung to Yahweh not he turned aside from after him and he kept commandments his which he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
7 Și DOMNUL a fost cu el; și el prospera oriunde ieșea; și s-a răzvrătit împotriva împăratului Asiriei și nu i-a servit.
And he was Yahweh with him in all that he went out he prospered and he rebelled against [the] king of Assyria and not he served him.
8 El i-a lovit pe filisteni, până la Gaza și granițele ei, de la turnul paznicilor până la cetatea întărită.
He he struck down [the] Philistines to Gaza and territories its from a tower of watchmen unto a city of fortification.
9 Și s-a întâmplat, în al patrulea an al împăratului Ezechia, care era al șaptelea an al lui Osea, fiul lui Ela, împăratul lui Israel, că Salmanasar, împăratul Asiriei, s-a urcat împotriva Samariei și a asediat-o.
And it was in the year fourth of the king Hezekiah it [was] the year seventh of Hoshea [the] son of Elah [the] king of Israel he came up Shalmaneser [the] king of Assyria on Samaria and he laid siege on it.
10 Și la sfârșitul a trei ani a luat-o; în al șaselea an al lui Ezechia, care este al nouălea an al lui Osea, împăratul lui Israel, Samaria a fost luată.
And they captured it from [the] end of three years in year six of Hezekiah it [was] year nine of Hoshea [the] king of Israel it was captured Samaria.
11 Și împăratul Asiriei l-a dus pe Israel în Asiria și i-a pus în Halah și în Habor lângă râul Gozan și în cetățile mezilor;
And he took into exile [the] king of Assyria Israel Assyria towards and he led them in Halah and on [the] Habor [the] river of Gozan and [the] cities of Media.
12 Pentru că nu au ascultat de vocea DOMNULUI Dumnezeul lor ci au călcat legământul său și tot ceea ce Moise servitorul DOMNULUI poruncise; și au refuzat să le asculte și să le facă.
On - that not they had listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God their and they had transgressed covenant his all that he had commanded Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and not they listened and not they did.
13 Și, în al paisprezecelea an al împăratului Ezechia, Sanherib, împăratul Asiriei, s-a urcat împotriva tuturor cetăților întărite ale lui Iuda și le-a luat.
And in four-teen year of the king Hezekiah he came up Sennacherib [the] king of Assyria on all [the] cities of Judah fortified and he seized them.
14 Și Ezechia, împăratul lui Iuda, a trimis la împăratul Asiriei în Lachis, spunând: Te-am ofensat; întoarce-te de la mine; ceea ce tu pui asupra mea voi purta. Și împăratul Asiriei i-a rânduit lui Ezechia, împăratul lui Iuda, trei sute de talanți de argint și treizeci de talanți de aur.
And he sent Hezekiah [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Assyria - Lachish towards - saying - I have sinned turn back from on me [that] which you will put on me I will bear and he imposed [the] king of Assyria on Hezekiah [the] king of Judah three hundred talent[s] of silver and thirty talent[s] of gold.
15 Și Ezechia i-a dat tot argintul care s-a găsit în casa DOMNULUI și în tezaurele casei împăratului.
And he gave Hezekiah all the silver which was found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king.
16 În acel timp Ezechia a tăiat aurul de pe ușile templului DOMNULUI și stâlpii pe care Ezechia, împăratul lui Iuda, îi placase, și l-a dat împăratului Asiriei.
At the time that he cut off Hezekiah [the] doors of [the] temple of Yahweh and the door-posts which he had overlaid Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and he gave them to [the] king of Assyria.
17 Și împăratul Asiriei i-a trimis pe Tartan și pe Rab-Sarisa și pe Rabșache din Lachis la împăratul Ezechia cu o mare oștire împotriva Ierusalimului. Și ei s-au urcat și au venit la Ierusalim. Și după ce s-au urcat, au venit și au stat lângă apeductul iazului superior, care este pe drumul mare al câmpului înălbitorului.
And he sent [the] king of Assyria [the] commander in chief and [the] chief court-official - and [the] chief commander from Lachish to the king Hezekiah with an army massive Jerusalem and they went up and they came Jerusalem and they went up and they came and they stood at [the] conduit of the pool upper which [is] on [the] highway of [the] field of [the] washer.
18 Și după ce l-au chemat pe împărat au ieșit la ei Eliachim, fiul lui Hilchia, care era peste casă, și Șebna scribul și Ioah, fiul lui Asaf, cronicarul.
And they called out to the king and he went out to them Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah who [was] over the house and Shebna the scribe and Joah [the] son of Asaph the recorder.
19 Și Rabșache le-a zis: Spuneți-i acum lui Ezechia: Astfel spune marele împărat, împăratul Asiriei: Ce este această încredere în care te încrezi?
And he said to them [the] chief commander say please to Hezekiah thus he says the king great [the] king of Assyria what? [is] the trust this which you trust.
20 Tu spui, (dar ele sunt doar vorbe deșarte): Eu am sfat și tărie pentru război. Și în cine te încrezi, de te-ai răzvrătit împotriva mea?
You have said only a word of lips counsel and strength for war now on whom? do you rely that you have rebelled against me.
21 Acum iată, tu te încrezi în toiagul acestei trestii frânte, în Egipt; pe care dacă un om se sprijină, îi va intra în mână și o va străpunge; astfel este Faraon, împăratul Egiptului, pentru toți cei care se încred în el.
Now there! you rely yourself on [the] staff of reed crushed this on Egypt which he will support himself anyone on it and it will go in palm his and it will pierce it [is] thus Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt to all those [who] rely on him.
22 Dar dacă îmi spuneți: Ne încredem în DOMNUL Dumnezeul nostru; nu este el acela, ale cărui înălțimi și ale cărui altare Ezechia le-a îndepărtat și a spus lui Iuda și Ierusalimului: Vă veți închina înaintea acestui altar în Ierusalim?
And if you will say! to me to Yahweh God our we trust ¿ not [is] he [the one] whom he has removed Hezekiah high places his and altars his and he has said to Judah and to Jerusalem before the altar this you will bow down in Jerusalem.
23 Și acum, te rog, dă garanții stăpânului meu, împăratul Asiriei, și îți voi da două mii de cai, dacă ești în stare din partea ta să pui călăreți pe ei.
And therefore make a wager please with master my with [the] king of Assyria and let me give to you two thousand horses if you will be able to put yourself riders on them.
24 Cum atunci vei abate fața unei căpetenii dintre cei mai mici servitori ai stăpânului meu și îți pui încrederea în Egipt pentru care și călăreți?
And how? will you turn back [the] face of [the] governor one of [the] servants of master my small and you have been relying yourself on Egypt for chariotry and for horsemen.
25 Am urcat eu acum, fără DOMNUL, împotriva acestui loc, pentru a-l distruge? DOMNUL mi-a spus: Urcă-te împotriva acestei țări și distruge-o.
Now ¿ from without Yahweh have I come up on the place this to destroy it Yahweh he said to me go up on the land this and destroy it.
26 Atunci Eliachim și Șebna și Ioah au spus lui Rabșache: Vorbește, te rog, servitorilor tăi în limba siriană, fiindcă o înțelegem; și nu ne vorbi în limba iudeilor în urechile poporului care este pe zid.
And he said Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah and Shebna and Joah to [the] chief commander speak please to servants your Aramaic for [are] understanding we and may not you speak with us [in] Judean in [the] ears of the people which [is] on the wall.
27 Dar Rabșache le-a spus: M-a trimis stăpânul meu la stăpânul tău și la tine, pentru a spune aceste cuvinte? Nu la oamenii care stau pe zid, ca să își mănânce propriile lor fecale și să își bea propria lor urină cu voi?
And he said to them [the] chief commander ¿ to master your and to you has he sent me master my to speak the words these ¿ not to the men who are sitting on the wall to eat (own excrement their *Q(K)*) and to drink ([the] water of feet their *Q(K)*) with you.
28 Atunci Rabșache s-a ridicat în picioare și a strigat cu o voce tare în limba evreilor și a vorbit, spunând: Ascultați cuvântul marelui împărat, împăratul Asiriei;
And he stood [the] chief commander and he called out with a voice great [in] Judean and he spoke and he said hear [the] word of the king great [the] king of Assyria.
29 Astfel spune împăratul: Să nu vă înșele Ezechia, fiindcă nu va fi în stare să vă scape din mâna lui;
Thus he says the king may not he deceive you Hezekiah for not he will be able to deliver you from hand his.
30 Nici nu lăsați pe Ezechia să vă facă să vă puneți încrederea în DOMNUL, spunând: DOMNUL ne va elibera într-adevăr și această cetate nu va fi dată în mâna împăratului Asiriei.
And may not he make trust you Hezekiah to Yahweh saying certainly he will deliver us Yahweh and not it will be given the city this in [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
31 Nu dați ascultare lui Ezechia, fiindcă astfel spune împăratul Asiriei: Faceți pace cu mine aducându-mi un cadou și ieșiți la mine și veți mânca, fiecare din vița lui și fiecare din smochinul lui, și veți bea, fiecare din apele izvorului său,
May not you listen to Hezekiah for thus he says [the] king of Assyria make with me a blessing and come out to me and eat everyone own vine his and everyone own fig tree his and drink everyone [the] water of own cistern his.
32 Până voi veni și vă voi lua într-o țară ca țara voastră, o țară a grânelor și a vinului, o țară a pâinii și a viilor, o țară a măslinilor de untdelemn și a mierii, ca să trăiți și să nu muriți; și nu dați ascultare lui Ezechia, când el vă convinge, spunând: DOMNUL ne va elibera.
Until come I and I will take you to a land like own land your a land of grain and new wine a land of bread and vineyards a land of olive tree of fresh oil and honey and live and not you will die and may not you listen to Hezekiah for he misleads you saying Yahweh he will deliver us.
33 A scăpat vreodată, vreunul din dumnezeii națiunilor, țara lui din mâna împăratului Asiriei?
¿ Really have they delivered [the] gods of the nations anyone land its from [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
34 Unde sunt dumnezeii Hamatului și ai Arpadului? Unde sunt dumnezeii Sefarvaimului, ai Henei și ai Ivei? Au scăpat ei Samaria din mâna mea?
Where? [were] [the] gods of Hamath and Arpad where? [were] [the] gods of Sepharvaim Hena and Ivvah that they have delivered Samaria from hand my.
35 Cine sunt aceia dintre toți dumnezeii țărilor, care au scăpat țara lor din mâna mea, ca DOMNUL să scape Ierusalimul din mâna mea?
Who? among all [the] gods of the lands [are those] which they have delivered land their from hand my that he will deliver Yahweh Jerusalem from hand my.
36 Dar poporul a tăcut și nu i-a răspuns niciun cuvânt, fiindcă porunca împăratului era, zicând: Să nu îi răspundeți.
And they kept silent the people and not they answered him anything for [was] [the] command of the king it saying not you must answer him.
37 Atunci Eliachim, fiul lui Hilchia, care era peste casă, și Șebna, scribul, și Ioah, fiul lui Asaf, cronicarul, au venit la Ezechia cu hainele sfâșiate și i-au spus cuvintele lui Rabșache.
And he went Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah who [was] over the house and Shebna the scribe and Joah [the] son of Asaph the recorder to Hezekiah torn of clothes and they told to him [the] words of [the] chief commander.
