2 Corinteni 11
1 Aș dori să îmi răbdați o mică nebunie; și, într-adevăr, răbdați-mă.
O that ye were bearing with me a little of the folly, but ye also do bear with me:
2 Fiindcă sunt gelos pe voi cu o gelozie dumnezeiască, fiindcă v-am logodit cu un singur soț, ca să vă înfățișez lui Cristos ca pe o fecioară castă.
for I am zealous for you with zeal of God, for I did betroth you to one husband, a pure virgin, to present to Christ,
3 Dar mă tem ca nu cumva în vreun fel, așa cum șarpele a înșelat-o pe Eva prin viclenia lui, tot așa mințile voastre să fie corupte de la simplitatea care este în Cristos.
and I fear, lest, as the serpent did beguile Eve in his subtilty, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that [is] in the Christ;
4 Căci dacă cel ce vine predică pe un alt Isus, pe care noi nu l-am predicat, sau dacă primiți un duh diferit, pe care nu l-ați primit, sau o evanghelie diferită, pe care nu ați acceptat-o, ați putea să îl răbdați bine.
for if, indeed, he who is coming doth preach another Jesus whom we did not preach, or another Spirit ye receive which ye did not receive, or other good news which ye did not accept — well were ye bearing [it],
5 Fiindcă presupun că nu am fost cu nimic mai prejos decât apostolii cei mai mari dintre cei mai mari.
for I reckon that I have been nothing behind the very chiefest apostles,
6 Dar chiar dacă eu sunt necioplit în vorbire, totuși nu în cunoaștere; ci în toate suntem cunoscuți pe deplin printre voi.
and even if unlearned in word — yet not in knowledge, but in every thing we were made manifest in all things to you.
7 Sau am făcut un păcat umilindu-mă pe mine însumi ca voi să fiți înălțați, pentru că v-am predicat evanghelia lui Dumnezeu în dar?
The sin did I do — myself humbling that ye might be exalted, because freely the good news of God I did proclaim to you?
8 Am jefuit alte biserici, luând de la ele plăți, ca să vă fac vouă serviciu.
other assemblies I did rob, having taken wages, for your ministration;
9 Și când eram prezent cu voi și fiind în nevoie, nu am îngreunat pe nimeni, fiindcă ce îmi lipsea au suplinit frații care au venit din Macedonia, și în toate m-am păzit să vă fiu o greutate și la fel mă voi păzi.
and being present with you, and having been in want, I was chargeable to no one, for my lack did the brethren supply — having come from Macedonia — and in everything burdenless to you I did keep myself, and will keep.
10 Așa cum adevărul lui Cristos este în mine, niciun om nu mă va opri de la această fală în ținuturile Ahaiei.
The truth of Christ is in me, because this boasting shall not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia;
11 De ce? Pentru că nu vă iubesc? Dumnezeu știe.
wherefore? because I do not love you? God hath known!
12 Iar ceea ce fac, aceea voi face, ca să tai orice ocazie celor ce doresc ocazie; pentru ca în cele în care se laudă, să fie găsiți ca și noi.
and what I do, I also will do, that I may cut off the occasion of those wishing an occasion, that in that which they boast they may be found according as we also;
13 Fiindcă aceștia sunt falși apostoli, lucrători înșelători, prefăcându-se în apostoli ai lui Cristos.
for those such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ,
14 Și nu este de mirare, fiindcă însuși Satan se preface într-un înger al luminii.
and no wonder — for even the Adversary doth transform himself into a messenger of light;
15 De aceea nu este mare lucru dacă și servitorii lui se prefac a fi servitori ai dreptății, al căror sfârșit va fi conform cu faptele lor.
no great thing, then, if also his ministrants do transform themselves as ministrants of righteousness — whose end shall be according to their works.
16 Spun din nou: Să nu mă creadă cineva a fi prost; iar dacă nu, măcar primiți-mă ca pe un prost, ca să mă fălesc puțin.
Again I say, may no one think me to be a fool; and if otherwise, even as a fool receive me, that I also a little may boast.
17 Ceea ce vorbesc, nu vorbesc după Domnul, ci parcă ar fi în nebunie, în această încredere a falei.
That which I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this the confidence of boasting;
18 Văzând că mulți se laudă conform cărnii, mă voi lăuda și eu.
since many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast:
19 Fiindcă suportați cu plăcere pe cei proști, voi fiind înțelepți.
for gladly do ye bear with the fools — being wise,
20 Fiindcă suportați dacă cineva vă duce în sclavie, dacă cineva vă mănâncă, dacă cineva ia de la voi, dacă cineva se înalță pe sine însuși, dacă cineva vă lovește peste față.
for ye bear, if any one is bringing you under bondage, if any one doth devour, if any one doth take away, if any one doth exalt himself, if any one on the face doth smite you;
21 Vorbesc referitor la ocară, ca și cum am fi fost slabi. Dar oricine este cutezător în ceva, (vorbesc nebunește) sunt și eu cutezător.
in reference to dishonour I speak, how that we were weak, and in whatever any one is bold — in foolishness I say [it] — I also am bold.
22 Sunt ei evrei? Și eu sunt. Sunt ei Israeliți? Și eu sunt. Sunt ei sămânța lui Avraam? Și eu.
Hebrews are they? I also! Israelites are they? I also! seed of Abraham are they? I also!
23 Sunt ei servitori ai lui Cristos? (Vorbesc ca un prost) eu, mai mult; în munci mai mult; în biciuiri peste măsură, mai des în închisori, deseori în moarte.
ministrants of Christ are they? — as beside myself I speak — I more; in labours more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths many times;
24 De cinci ori am primit de la iudei patruzeci de lovituri fără una;
from Jews five times forty [stripes] save one I did receive;
25 De trei ori am fost bătut cu nuiele, odată am fost împroșcat cu pietre, de trei ori am naufragiat, o noapte și o zi am fost în adâncul mării.
thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice was I shipwrecked, a night and a day in the deep I have passed;
26 Deseori în călătorii, în pericole pe ape, în pericole din partea tâlharilor, în pericole din partea compatrioților, în pericole din partea păgânilor, în pericole în cetate, în pericole în pustie, în pericole pe mare, în pericole între frați falși.
journeyings many times, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from kindred, perils from nations, perils in city, perils in wilderness, perils in sea, perils among false brethren;
27 În osteneală și durere, deseori în vegheri, în foame și sete, deseori în posturi, în frig și goliciune.
in labouriousness and painfulness, in watchings many times, in hunger and thirst, in fastings many times, in cold and nakedness;
28 Pe lângă cele ce sunt de afară, ceea ce vine peste mine zilnic, grija pentru toate bisericile.
apart from the things without — the crowding upon me that is daily — the care of all the assemblies.
29 Cine este slab și eu nu sunt slab? Cine este poticnit și eu nu ard?
Who is infirm, and I am not infirm? who is stumbled, and I am not fired;
30 Dacă este necesar să mă laud, mă voi lăuda cu cele despre neputințele mele.
if to boast it behoveth [me], of the things of my infirmity I will boast;
31 Dumnezeul și Tatăl Domnului nostru Isus Cristos, care este binecuvântat pentru totdeauna, știe că nu mint. (aiōn g165)
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ — who is blessed to the ages — hath known that I do not lie! — (aiōn g165)
32 În Damasc, guvernatorul împăratului Areta veghea cetatea damascienilor cu o garnizoană, doritor să mă prindă,
In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king was watching the city of the Damascenes, wishing to seize me,
33 Și am fost coborât printr-o fereastră, într-o coșniță, pe zid, și am scăpat din mâinile lui.
and through a window in a rope basket I was let down, through the wall, and fled out of his hands.
