2 Cronici 29
1 Ezechia era în vârstă de douăzeci și cinci de ani când a început să domnească și a domnit douăzeci și nouă de ani în Ierusalim. Și numele mamei lui era Abiia, fiica lui Zaharia.
And, Hezekiah, began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and, twenty-nine years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Abijah, daughter of Zechariah.
2 Și el a făcut ceea ce era drept înaintea ochilor DOMNULUI, conform cu tot ceea ce făcuse tatăl său, David.
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that, David his father, had done.
3 În primul an al domniei lui, în prima lună, a deschis ușile casei DOMNULUI și le-a reparat.
He, in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.
4 Și a adus preoții și leviții și i-a adunat în strada spre est,
And he brought in the priests, and the Levites, —and gathered them together in the broadway on the east;
5 Și le-a spus: Ascultați-mă leviților, sfințiți-vă acum și sfințiți casa DOMNULUI Dumnezeul părinților voștri și scoateți murdăria din locul sfânt.
and said unto them, Hear me, O Levites! Now, hallow yourselves, and hallow the house of Yahweh, God of your fathers, and take forth the impure thing out of the holy place.
6 Căci părinții voștri au încălcat legea și au făcut ceea ce era rău în ochii DOMNULUI Dumnezeul nostru și l-au părăsit și și-au întors fețele de la locuința DOMNULUI și și-au întors spatele.
For our fathers have acted unfaithfully and done the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him, -and have turned round their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and have offered their backs.
7 De asemenea ei au închis ușile porticului și au stins lămpile și nu au ars tămâie nici nu au oferit ofrande arse Dumnezeului lui Israel, în locul sfânt.
Moreover they have shut up the doors of the porch, and have quenched the lamps, and, incense, have they not burned, -and, ascending-sacrifice, have they not caused to go up in the holy place, unto the God of Israel.
8 De aceea furia DOMNULUI a fost peste Iuda și Ierusalim și i-a dat necazului, înmărmuririi și șuierării, precum vedeți cu ochii voștri.
Thus hath it come to pass, that, the wrath of Yahweh, hath been upon Judah and Jerusalem, —and he hath delivered them up as a terror and as an astonishment and as hissing, even as, ye, can see with your own eyes.
9 Căci iată, părinții noștri au căzut prin sabie și fiii noștri și fiicele noastre și soțiile noastre sunt în captivitate pentru aceasta.
And lo! our fathers have fallen by the sword, and, our sons and our daughters and our wives, are in captivity for this.
10 Și este în inima mea să fac un legământ cu DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel, ca furia lui înverșunată să se întoarcă de la noi.
Now, is it near my heart, to solemnise a covenant unto Yahweh, God of Israel, —that he may turn from him the glow of his anger.
11 Fiii mei, nu stați acum nepăsători, fiindcă DOMNUL v-a ales să stați în picioare înaintea lui, să îi serviți și să îi fiți servitori și să ardeți tămâie.
My sons! now, do not be faulty, —for, of you, hath Yahweh made choice, to stand before him, and to wait upon him, and to be his attendants and burners of incense.
12 Atunci leviții s-au ridicat: Mahat, fiul lui Amasai, și Ioel, fiul lui Azaria, dintre fiii chehatiților; și dintre fiii lui Merari: Chiș, fiul lui Abdi, și Azaria, fiul lui Iehaleleel; și din Gherșon: Ioah, fiul lui Zima, și Eden, fiul lui Ioah;
Then arose the Levites—Mahath son of Amasai, and Joel son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites, and, of the sons of Merari, Kish son of Abdi, and Azariah son of Jehallelel, —and, of the Gershonites, Joah son of Zimmah, and Eden son of Joah;
13 Și dintre fiii lui Elițafan: Șimri și Ieiel; și dintre fiii lui Asaf: Zaharia și Matania;
and, of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel, —and, of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah, and Mattaniah;
14 Și dintre fiii lui Heman: Iehiel și Șimei; și dintre fiii lui Iedutun: Șemaia și Uziel.
and, of the sons of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei, —and, of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah, and Uzziel;
15 Și au adunat pe frații lor și s-au sfințit și au venit, conform poruncii împăratului, prin cuvintele DOMNULUI, să curețe casa DOMNULUI.
and they gathered together their brethren, who hallowed themselves, and came in according to the command of the king, in the things of Yahweh, —to purify the house of Yahweh.
16 Și preoții au intrat în partea interioară a casei DOMNULUI, să o curețe; și au scos afară toată necurăția pe care au găsit-o în templul DOMNULUI, în curtea casei DOMNULUI. Și leviții au luat-o pentru a o duce afară la pârâul Chedron.
So the priests entered into the inner part of the house of Yahweh, to make purification, and they brought out every unclean thing which they found in the temple of Yahweh, into the court of the house of Yahweh, —where the Levites received it, to carry it forth to the Kidron ravine outside.
17 Și ei au început să sfințească în ziua întâi a lunii întâi; și în a opta zi a lunii au venit la porticul DOMNULUI, astfel au sfințit casa DOMNULUI în opt zile; și în a șaisprezecea zi a lunii întâi au terminat.
And they began, on the first of the first month, to hallow, —and, on the eighth day of the month, they came to the porch of Yahweh, so they hallowed the house of Yahweh in eight days, —and, on the sixteenth day of the first month, they finished.
18 Atunci au mers la împăratul Ezechia și au spus: Am curățat toată casa DOMNULUI și altarul ofrandei arse, cu toate vasele lui, masa pâinii punerii înainte, cu toate vasele ei.
Then came they in unto Hezekiah the king, and said, We have purified all the house of Yahweh, —the altar of ascending-sacrifice, and all the utensils thereof, and the table for setting in array, and all the utensils thereof.
19 Mai mult, toate vasele, pe care împăratul Ahaz, în domnia lui, le-a aruncat în fărădelegea lui, le-am pregătit și sfințit și, iată, ele sunt înaintea altarului DOMNULUI.
And, all the utensils which King Ahaz in his reign rejected when he acted unfaithfully, have we made ready and hallowed, —and, there they are, before the altar of Yahweh.
20 Atunci împăratul Ezechia s-a ridicat devreme și a strâns pe conducătorii cetății și a urcat la casa DOMNULUI.
So Hezekiah the king rose up early, and gathered together the rulers of the city, —and went up to the house of Yahweh.
21 Și au adus șapte tauri și șapte berbeci și șapte miei și șapte țapi, pentru o ofrandă de păcat pentru împărăție și pentru sanctuar și pentru Iuda. Și a poruncit preoților, fiii lui Aaron, să îi ofere pe altarul DOMNULUI.
And they brought in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven young sheep, and seven he-goats for bearing sin, for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah, —and he bade the sons of Aaron, the priests, cause them to ascend upon the altar of Yahweh.
22 Astfel au ucis taurii, și preoții au primit sângele și l-au stropit pe altar; la fel, după ce au ucis berbecii, au stropit sângele pe altar; au ucis de asemenea mieii și au stropit sângele pe altar.
So they slaughtered the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and dashed it against the altar, —and they slaughtered the rams, and dashed the blood against the altar, and slaughtered the young sheep, and dashed the blood against the altar.
23 Și au adus țapii pentru ofranda de păcat înaintea împăratului și a adunării; și au pus mâinile lor peste ei,
And they brought near the he-goats for bearing sin, before the king, and the convocation, —and they leaned their hands upon them;
24 Și preoții i-au ucis și au făcut împăcare cu sângele lor pe altar, să facă o ispășire pentru întregul Israel, fiindcă împăratul a poruncit ca ofranda arsă și ofranda pentru păcat să fie făcută pentru întregul Israel.
and the priests slaughtered them, and sin-cleansed, with their blood, the altar, to put a propitiatory-covering over all Israel, -because, for all Israel, did the king appoint the ascending-sacrifice and the offering for bearing sin.
25 Și a pus pe leviți în casa DOMNULUI cu chimvale, cu psalterioane și cu harpe, conform poruncii lui David și a lui Gad, văzătorul împăratului, și a profetului Natan, fiindcă astfel era porunca DOMNULUI prin profeții lui.
And he caused the Levites to stand in the house of Yahweh, with cymbals and with harps and with lyres, by the commandment of David, and of Gad the seer of the king, and of Nathan the prophet, —for, by the hand of Yahweh, came the commandment by the hand of his prophets.
26 Și leviții au stat în picioare cu instrumentele lui David, și preoții cu trâmbițele.
So the Levites took their stand, with the instruments of David, and the priests, with the trumpets.
27 Și Ezechia a poruncit să fie adusă ofrandă arsă pe altar. Și când ofranda arsă a început, cântarea DOMNULUI a început de asemenea cu trâmbițe și cu instrumentele rânduite de David, împăratul lui Israel.
And Hezekiah gave word, to cause the ascending-sacrifice to go up on the altar, —and, when the ascending-sacrifice began, the singing unto Yahweh began, and the trumpets, even under the direction of the instruments of David, king of Israel.
28 Și toată adunarea s-a închinat și cântăreții au cântat și trâmbițașii au sunat, și toate acestea au continuat până la terminarea ofrandei arse.
And, all the convocation, were bowing themselves in prostration, and, the song, was resounding and the trumpets were blowing, -the whole, until the completing of the ascending-sacrifice.
29 Și când au terminat ofranda, împăratul și toți cei care erau prezenți cu el s-au prosternat și s-au închinat.
And, when the offering was complete, the king knelt down and all who were present with him, and bowed themselves in prostration.
30 Mai mult, împăratul Ezechia și prinții au poruncit leviților să cânte laudă DOMNULUI cu cuvintele lui David și ale lui Asaf, văzătorul. Și au cântat laude cu veselie și și-au plecat capetele și s-au închinat.
And Hezekiah the king and the rulers gave word to the Levites, to offer praise unto Yahweh, in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, —so they offered praise right joyfully, and bent their heads and bowed themselves in prostration.
31 Atunci Ezechia a răspuns și a zis: Acum v-ați sfințit DOMNULUI, apropiați-vă și aduceți sacrificii și ofrande de mulțumire în casa DOMNULUI. Și adunarea a adus sacrificii și ofrande de mulțumire; și atâția câți au avut o inimă binevoitoare au adus ofrande arse.
Then responded Hezekiah and said—Now, have ye consecrated yourselves unto Yahweh. Draw near, and bring in sacrifices and thank-offerings unto the house of Yahweh, -So the convocation brought sacrifices and thank-offerings, and, everyone of a willing heart, [brought] ascending-sacrifices.
32 Și numărul ofrandelor arse, pe care adunarea le-a adus, a fost de șaptezeci de tauri, o sută de berbeci și două sute de miei, toate acestea au fost pentru ofrandă arsă DOMNULUI.
And it came to pass that, the number of ascending-sacrifices which the convocation brought, was—seventy bullocks, and a hundred rams, and two hundred young sheep, —as an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh, all these.
33 Și lucrurile sfințite erau șase sute de boi și trei mii de oi.
But, the hallowed beasts, were six hundred bullocks, and three thousand sheep.
34 Dar preoții erau prea puțini, astfel încât nu puteau să jupoaie toate ofrandele arse, de aceea frații lor, leviții, i-au ajutat până când munca s-a terminat și până când ceilalți preoți s-au sfințit; fiindcă leviții erau mai integri în inimă să se sfințească, decât preoții.
Only, the priests, were too few, and were unable to flay all the ascending-sacrifices, —so their brethren the Levites strengthened them, until the work was complete and until the priests had hallowed themselves, for, the Levites, were more upright in heart to hallow themselves, than the priests.
35 Și de asemenea ofrandele arse erau din abundență, cu grăsimea ofrandelor de pace și a darurilor de băutură pentru fiecare ofrandă arsă. Astfel serviciul casei DOMNULUI a fost pus în ordine.
Moreover also, the ascending-sacrifices, were in abundance, with the fat portions of the peace-offerings, and with the drink-offerings to every ascending-sacrifice, -thus was established the service of the house of Yahweh.
36 Și Ezechia s-a bucurat împreună cu tot poporul, că Dumnezeu a pregătit poporul, fiindcă lucrul a fost făcut îndată.
And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because God had established it for the people, —for, suddenly, had the thing come about.
