1 Samuel 28
1 Și s-a întâmplat, în acele zile, că filistenii și-au adunat armatele pentru război, ca să lupte cu Israel. Și Achiș i-a spus lui David: Să știi bine că vei ieși cu mine la bătălie, tu și oamenii tăi.
Forsothe it was doon in tho daies, Filisteis gaderiden her cumpenyes, that thei schulden be maad redi ayens Israel to batel. And Achis seide to Dauid, Thou witynge `wite now, for thou schalt go out with me in castels, thou and thi men.
2 Și David i-a spus lui Achiș: Vei ști într-adevăr ce poate face servitorul tău. Și Achiș i-a spus lui David: De aceea te voi face păzitorul capului meu pentru totdeauna.
And Dauid seide to Achis, Now thou schalt wyte what thingis thi seruaunt schal do. And Achis seide to Dauid, And Y schal sette thee kepere of myn heed in alle dayes.
3 Și Samuel era mort și tot Israelul îl plânsese și îl înmormântaseră la Rama, în cetatea sa. Și Saul îndepărtase din țară pe cei cu demoni și pe vrăjitori.
Forsothe Samuel was deed, and al Israel biweilide hym, and thei birieden hym in Ramatha, his citee. And Saul dide awey fro the lond witchis and fals dyuynours, `and he slouy hem that hadden `charmers of deuelis `in her wombe.
4 Și filistenii s-au adunat și au venit și și-au întins corturile în Sunem; și Saul a adunat tot Israelul și și-au întins corturile în Ghilboa.
And Filisteis weren gaderid, and camen, and settiden tentis in Sunam; sotheli and Saul gaderide al Israel, and cam in to Gelboe.
5 Și când Saul a văzut oștirea filistenilor, s-a temut și inima sa a tremurat foarte tare.
And Saul siy the castels of Filisteis, and he dredde, and his herte dredde greetli.
6 Și când Saul a întrebat pe DOMNUL, DOMNUL nu i-a răspuns, nici prin vise, nici prin Urim, nici prin profeți.
And he counselide the Lord; and the Lord answeride not to hym, nether bi preestis, nether bi dremes, nether bi profetis.
7 Atunci Saul a spus servitorilor săi: Căutați-mi o femeie care are demon, ca să merg la ea și să o întreb. Și servitorii săi i-au spus: Iată, este o femeie, care are demon, în En-Dor.
And Saul seide to hise seruauntis, Seke ye to me a womman hauynge a feend spekynge in the wombe; and Y schal go to hir, and Y schal axe bi hir. And hise seruauntis seiden to hym, A womman hauynge a feend spekynge in the wombe is in Endor.
8 Și Saul s-a deghizat și a îmbrăcat alte haine și a mers și doi bărbați au mers cu el și au venit la femeie noaptea; și a spus: Te rog, ghicește-mi prin demon și adu-mi pe acela pe care ți-l voi numi.
Therfor Saul chaungide his clothing, and he was clothid with othere clothis; and he yede, and twei men with hym; and thei camen to the womman in the nyyt. And he seyde, Dyuyne thou to me in a fend spekynge in the wombe, and reise thou to me whom Y schal seie to thee.
9 Și femeia i-a spus: Iată, tu știi ce a făcut Saul, cum a stârpit din țară pe toți cei cu demoni și pe vrăjitori; pentru ce dar întinzi o cursă pentru viața mea, ca să mă dai la moarte?
And the womman seide to hym, Lo! thou woost hou grete thingis Saul hath do, and hou he dide awei fro the lond witchis, and fals dyuynours; whi therfor settist thou tresoun to my lijf, that Y be slayn?
10 Și Saul i-a jurat pe DOMNUL, spunând: Precum DOMNUL trăiește, nu ți se va întâmpla nicio pedeapsă pentru acest lucru.
And Saul swoor to hir in the Lord, and seide, The Lord lyueth; for no thing of yuel schal come to thee for this thing.
11 Atunci femeia a spus: Pe cine să îți aduc? Și el a spus: Adu-mi pe Samuel.
And the womman seide to hym, Whom schal Y reise to thee? And he seide, Reise thou Samuel to me.
12 Și când femeia l-a văzut pe Samuel, a strigat cu voce tare; și femeia i-a vorbit lui Saul, spunând: De ce m-ai înșelat? Pentru că ești Saul.
Sotheli whanne the womman hadde seyn Samuel, sche criede with greet vois, and seide to Saul, Whi hast thou disseyued me? for thou art Saul.
13 Și împăratul i-a spus: Nu te teme; ce ai văzut? Și femeia i-a spus lui Saul: Am văzut dumnezei, înălțându-se din pământ.
And the kyng seide to hir, Nyl thou drede; what hast thou seyn? And the womman seide to Saul, Y siy goddis stiynge fro erthe.
14 Și el i-a spus: Ce formă are el? Și ea a spus: Un om bătrân se înalță; și este acoperit cu o mantie. Și Saul a priceput că era Samuel și s-a aplecat cu fața la pământ și s-a prosternat.
And Saul seide to hir, What maner forme is of hym? And sche seide, An eld man stieth, and he is clothid with a mentil. And Saul vndirstood that it was Samuel; and Saul bowide hym silf on his face to the erthe, and worschipide.
15 Și Samuel i-a spus lui Saul: De ce m-ai tulburat, înălțându-mă? Și Saul a răspuns: Sunt foarte strâmtorat, pentru că filistenii fac război împotriva mea și Dumnezeu s-a depărtat de la mine și nu îmi mai răspunde, nici prin profeți, nici prin vise; de aceea te-am chemat, ca să îmi faci cunoscut ce să fac.
Sotheli Samuel seide to Saul, Whi hast thou disesid me, that Y schulde be reisid? And Saul seide, Y am constreyned greetli; for Filisteis fiyten ayens me, and God yede awei fro me, and he nolde here me, nether bi the hond of profetis, nether bi dremes; therfor Y clepide thee, that thou schuldist schewe to me what Y schal do.
16 Atunci Samuel a spus: Pentru ce atunci mă întrebi pe mine, văzând că DOMNUL s-a depărtat de la tine și a devenit dușmanul tău?
And Samuel seide, What axist thou me, whanne God hath go awei fro thee, and passide to thin enemy?
17 Și DOMNUL i-a făcut, precum a vorbit prin mine; fiindcă DOMNUL a rupt împărăția din mâna ta și a dat-o aproapelui tău, lui David;
For the Lord schal do to thee as he spak in myn hond, and he schal kitte awey thi rewme fro thin hond, and he schal yyue it to Dauid, thi neiybore;
18 Pentru că nu ai ascultat de vocea DOMNULUI, nici nu ai împlinit furia lui înverșunată asupra lui Amalec, de aceea ți-a făcut DOMNUL acest lucru astăzi.
for thou obeiedist not to the vois of the Lord, nether didist the `ire of hys strong veniaunce in Amalech. Therfor the Lord hath do to thee to day that that thou suffrist;
19 Mai mult, DOMNUL va da de asemenea pe Israel cu tine în mâna filistenilor; și mâine tu și fiii tăi veți fi cu mine; DOMNUL de asemenea va da oștirea lui Israel în mâna filistenilor.
and the Lord schal yyue also Israel with thee in the hond of Filisteis. Forsothe to morewe thou and thi sones schulen be with me; but also the Lord schal bitake the castels of Israel in the hond of Filistiym.
20 Atunci Saul a căzut îndată întins la pământ și s-a temut foarte tare, din cauza cuvintelor lui Samuel; și nu era nicio putere în el, pentru că nu mâncase pâine toată ziua și toată noaptea.
And anoon Saul felde stretchid forth to erthe; for he dredde the wordis of Samuel, and strengthe was not in hym, for he hadde not ete breed in al that dai and al nyyt.
21 Și femeia a venit la Saul și a văzut că era foarte tulburat și i-a spus: Iată, roaba ta a ascultat de vocea ta și mi-am pus viața în joc și am dat ascultare cuvintelor tale pe care mi le-ai vorbit.
Therfor thilke womman entride to Saul, and seide; for he was disturblid greetli; and sche seide to hym, Lo! thin handmayde obeiede to thi vois, and Y haue put my lijf in myn hond, and Y herde thi wordis, whiche thou spakist to me.
22 De aceea acum, te rog, dă și tu ascultare vocii roabei tale și lasă-mă să pun o bucată de pâine înaintea ta; și mănâncă, să ai putere, când mergi pe calea ta.
Now therfor and thou here the vois of thin handmaide, and Y schal sette a mussel of breed bifor thee, and that thou etynge wexe strong, and maist do the iourney.
23 Dar el a refuzat și a spus: Nu voi mânca. Dar servitorii săi, împreună cu femeia, l-au constrâns; și el a dat ascultare vocii lor. Astfel s-a ridicat de la pământ și a șezut pe pat.
And he forsook, and seide, Y schal not ete. Sothely hise seruauntis and the womman compelliden hym; and at the laste, whanne the vois of hem was herd, he roos fro the erthe, and sat on the bed.
24 Și femeia avea un vițel gras în casă; și s-a grăbit și l-a înjunghiat; și a luat făină și a frământat-o și a copt azime din ea;
Sotheli thilke womman hadde a fat calf in the hows, and `sche hastide, and killide hym; and sche took mele, and meddlide it, and made therf breed;
25 Și a adus înaintea lui Saul și înaintea servitorilor săi și ei au mâncat. Apoi s-au ridicat și au plecat în acea noapte.
and settide bifor Saul and bifor hise seruauntis, and whanne thei hadden ete, thei risiden, and walkiden bi al that nyyt.
