1 Regii 16

1 Atunci cuvântul DOMNULUI a venit la Iehu, fiul lui Hanani, împotriva lui Baaşa, spunând:

Forsothe the word of the Lord was maad to Hieu, sone of Anany, ayens Baasa, and seide,

2 Pentru că te-am ridicat din ţărână şi te-am făcut prinţ peste poporul meu Israel şi ai umblat în calea lui Ieroboam şi ai făcut pe poporul meu Israel să păcătuiască, pentru a mă provoca la mânie cu păcatele lor,

For that that Y reiside thee fro dust, and settide thee duyk on Israel, my puple; sotheli thou yedist in the weie of Jeroboam, and madist my puple Israel to do synne, that thou schuldist terre me to ire, in the synnes of hem; lo!

3 Iată, voi îndepărta posteritatea lui Baaşa şi posteritatea casei lui; şi voi face casa ta precum casa lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat.

Y schal kitte awey the hyndrere thingis of Baasa, and the hyndrere thingis of `his hows, and Y schal make thin hows as the hows of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath.

4 Pe cel care va muri din Baaşa, în cetate, câinii îl vor mânca; şi pe cel care moare dintre ai lui în câmp, păsările cerului îl vor mânca.

Doggis schulen ete that man of Baasa, that schal be deed in citee, and briddis of the eyr schulen ete that man of Baasa, that schal die in the feeld.

5 Şi restul faptelor lui Baaşa şi ce a făcut şi puterea lui, nu sunt ele scrise în cartea cronicilor împăraţilor lui Israel?

Sotheli the residue of wordis of Baasa, and what euer thingis he dide, and hise batels, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kynges of Israel?

6 Astfel Baaşa a adormit cu părinţii săi şi a fost îngropat în Tirţa; şi Ela, fiul său, a domnit în locul său.

Therfor Baasa slepte with hise fadris, and he was biried in Thersa; and Hela, his sone, regnede for hym.

7 Şi de asemenea prin mâna profetului Iehu, fiul lui Hanani, a venit cuvântul DOMNULUI împotriva lui Baaşa şi împotriva casei lui, pentru tot răul pe care l-a făcut în ochii DOMNULUI, în a-l provoca la mânie cu lucrarea mâinilor sale, fiind ca şi casa lui Ieroboam; şi pentru că l-a ucis.

8 În anul al douăzeci şi şaselea al lui Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, a început Ela, fiul lui Baaşa, să domnească peste Israel în Tirţa, doi ani.

In the sixe and twentithe yeer of Aza, kyng of Juda, Hela, the sone of Baasa, regnyde on Israel, in Thersa, twei yeer.

9 Şi servitorul său, Zimri, căpetenie a jumătate din carele lui, a uneltit împotriva sa în timp ce era în Tirţa bând şi îmbătându-se în casa lui Arţa, administratorul casei sale în Tirţa.

And Zamry, `his seruaunt, duyk of the half part of knyytis, rebellide ayens hym; sotheli Hela was in Thersa, and drank, and was drunkun in the hows of Arsa, prefect of Thersa.

10 Şi Zimri a intrat şi l-a lovit şi l-a ucis, în anul al douăzeci şi şaptelea al lui Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, şi a domnit în locul său.

Therfor Zamri felde in, and smoot, and killide hym, in the seuene and twentithe yeer of Asa, kyng of Juda; and regnede for hym.

11 Şi s-a întâmplat, când a început să domnească, îndată ce a şezut pe tronul său, că a ucis toată casa lui Baaşa; nu i-a lăsat pe niciunul care urinează la perete, nici dintre rudele lui, nici dintre prietenii lui.

And whanne he hadde regned, and hadde setun on his trone, he smoot al the hows of Baasa, and he lefte not therof a pissere to the wal, and hise kynnesmen, and frendis.

12 Astfel Zimri a nimicit toată casa lui Baaşa, conform cuvântului DOMNULUI, pe care îl vorbise împotriva lui Baaşa prin profetul Iehu,

And Zamri dide awey al the hows of Baasa, bi the word of the Lord, which he spak to Baasa, in the hond of Hieu, the prophete, for alle the synnes of Baasa,

13 Pentru toate păcatele lui Baaşa şi păcatele lui Ela, fiul său, prin care păcătuiseră şi prin care făcuseră pe Israel să păcătuiască, provocând pe DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel la mânie cu deşertăciunile lor.

and for the synnes of Hela, his sone, whiche synneden, and maden Israel to do synne, and wraththiden the Lord God of Israel in her vanytees.

14 Şi restul faptelor lui Ela şi tot ce a făcut, nu sunt ele scrise în cartea cronicilor împăraţilor lui Israel?

15 În anul al douăzeci şi şaptelea al lui Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, a domnit Zimri şapte zile în Tirţa. Şi poporul era aşezat în tabără împotriva Ghibetonului, care aparţinea filistenilor.

In the seuene and twentithe yeer of Aza, kyng of Juda, Zamri regnede seuene daies in Tharsa; forsothe the oost bisegide Gebethon, the citee of Philisteis.

16 Şi poporul care era aşezat în tabără a auzit spunându-se: Zimri a uneltit şi de asemenea a ucis pe împărat; De aceea tot Israelul a făcut pe Omri, căpetenia oştirii, împărat peste Israel, în acea zi în tabără.

And whanne it hadde herd, that Zamri hadde rebellid, and hadde slayn the kyng, al Israel made Amry kyng to hem, that was prince of the chyualrye, on Israel, in that dai, in `the castels.

17 Şi Omri s-a urcat de la Ghibeton şi tot Israelul cu el şi au asediat Tirţa.

Therfor Amry stiede, and al Israel with hym, fro Gebethon, and bisegide Thersa.

18 Şi s-a întâmplat, când Zimri a văzut că cetatea fusese luată, că a intrat în palatul casei împăratului şi a ars casa împăratului peste el cu foc şi a murit,

19 Pentru păcatele sale cu care păcătuise făcând ce este rău în ochii DOMNULUI, pentru că umblase în calea lui Ieroboam şi în păcatul lui pe care l-a făcut, pentru a face pe Israel să păcătuiască.

and he was deed in hise synnes whiche he synnede, doynge yuel bifor the Lord, and goynge in the weie of Jeroboam, and in hise synnes, bi whiche he made Israel to do synne.

20 Şi restul faptelor lui Zimri şi trădarea lui pe care a lucrat-o, nu sunt ele scrise în cartea cronicilor împăraţilor lui Israel?

21 Atunci poporul lui Israel s-a despărţit în două părţi: jumătate din popor l-a urmat pe Tibni, fiul lui Ghinat, pentru a-l face împărat şi jumătate l-a urmat pe Omri.

Thanne the puple of Israel was departid in to twei partis; the half part of the puple suede Thebny, sone of Geneth, to make hym kyng, and the half part suede Amry.

22 Dar poporul care l-a urmat pe Omri l-a învins pe cel care îl urma pe Tibni, fiul lui Ghinat; astfel Tibni a murit, iar Omri a domnit.

23 În anul al treizeci şi unulea al lui Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, a început Omri să domnească peste Israel, doisprezece ani; şase ani a domnit în Tirţa.

In the oon and thrittithe yeer of Aza, kyng of Juda, Amri regnede on Israel, twelue yeer; in Thersa he regnede sixe yeer.

24 Şi a cumpărat dealul Samariei de la Şemer pentru doi talanţi de argint şi a construit pe deal şi a pus numele cetăţii pe care o construise, după numele lui Şemer, stăpânul dealului, Samaria.

And he bouyte of Soomeer, for twei talentis of siluer, the hil of Samarie, and `bildide that hil; and he clepide the name of the citee, which he hadde bildid, bi the name of Soomer, lord of the hil of Samarie.

25 Dar Omri a lucrat ce este rău în ochii DOMNULUI şi a făcut mai rău decât toţi cei care au fost înaintea lui.

Forsothe Amry dide yuel in the siyt of the Lord, and wrouyte weiwardli, ouer alle men that weren bifor hym.

26 Fiindcă a umblat în toată calea lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, şi în păcatul lui cu care făcuse pe Israel să păcătuiască, pentru a provoca pe DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel la mânie cu deşertăciunile lor.

And he yede in al the weie of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, and in hise synnes, bi whiche he made Israel to do synne, that he schulde terre to ire, in his vanytees, the Lord God of Israel.

27 Şi restul faptelor lui Omri şi tot ce a făcut şi puterea lui pe care a arătat-o, nu sunt ele scrise în cartea cronicilor împăraţilor lui Israel?

Forsothe the residue of wordis of Amry, and hise batels, which he dide, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?

28 Astfel Omri a adormit cu părinţii săi şi a fost îngropat în Samaria; Şi Ahab, fiul său, a domnit în locul său.

And Amry slepte with hise fadris, and was biried in Samarie; and Achab, his sone, regnede for hym.

29 Şi în anul al treizeci şi optulea al lui Asa, împăratul lui Iuda, Ahab, fiul lui Omri, a început să domnească peste Israel; şi Ahab, fiul lui Omri, a domnit peste Israel în Samaria douăzeci şi doi de ani.

Forsothe Achab, the sone of Amry, regnede on Israel, in the `eiyte and thrittithe yeer of Asa, kyng of Juda; and Achab, sone of Amry, regnede on Israel, in Samarie, two and twenti yeer.

30 Şi Ahab, fiul lui Omri, a făcut ce este rău în ochii DOMNULUI mai mult decât toţi cei care au fost înaintea lui.

And Achab, sone of Amry, dide yuel in the siyte of the Lord, ouer alle men that weren bifor hym;

31 Şi s-a întâmplat, ca şi cum ar fi fost un lucru uşor pentru el să umble în păcatele lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, că a luat de soţie pe Izabela, fiica lui Etbaal, împăratul sidonienilor, şi a mers şi i-a servit lui Baal şi i s-a închinat.

and it suffiside not to hym that he yede in the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, ferthermore and he weddide a wijf, Jezabel, the douyter of Methaal, kyng of Sydoneis; and he yede, and seruyde Baal, and worschipide hym.

32 Şi a ridicat un altar pentru Baal în casa lui Baal, pe care o construise în Samaria.

And he settide an auter to Baal in the temple of Baal, which he hadde bildid in Samarie, and he plauntide a wode;

33 Şi Ahab a făcut o dumbravă; şi Ahab a făcut mai mult, pentru a provoca pe DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel la mânie, decât toţi împăraţii lui Israel care au fost înaintea lui.

and Achab addide in his werk, and terride to ire the Lord God of Israel, more thanne alle kyngis of Israel that weren bifor hym.

34 În zilele lui Hiel betelitul a construit Ierihonul; i-a pus temelia în Abiram, întâiul său născut, şi i-a pus porţile în cel mai tânăr fiu al său, Segub, conform cuvântului DOMNULUI, pe care îl spusese prin Iosua, fiul lui Nun.

Forsothe in hise daies Ahiel of Bethel bildide Jerico; in Abiram, his firste sone, he foundide it, in Segub, his laste sone, he settide yatis therof, bi the word of the Lord, which he hadde spoke in the hond of Josue, sone of Nun.
