1 Ioan 2
1 Copilașii mei, vă scriu acestea, ca să nu păcătuiți. Și dacă cineva păcătuiește, avem un mijlocitor la Tatăl, pe Isus Cristos cel drept.
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 Și el este ispășirea pentru păcatele noastre și nu doar pentru ale noastre, ci și pentru ale întregii lumi.
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 Și prin aceasta știm că îl cunoaștem, dacă ținem poruncile lui.
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Cel ce spune: Îl cunosc! Și nu ține poruncile lui este un mincinos și adevărul nu este în el.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 Dar cel ce ține cuvântul lui în el, într-adevăr, dragostea lui Dumnezeu este desăvârșită; prin aceasta știm că suntem în el.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 Cel ce spune că rămâne în el, este dator să umble așa cum el a umblat.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
7 Fraților, nu vă scriu o poruncă nouă, ci o poruncă veche, pe care ați avut-o de la început. Porunca veche este cuvântul pe care voi l-ați auzit de la început.
Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
8 Din nou vă scriu o poruncă nouă care este adevărată în el și în voi, pentru că întunericul a trecut și lumina adevărată acum strălucește.
Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 Cel ce spune că este în lumină și urăște pe fratele său este în întuneric până acum.
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 Cel ce iubește pe fratele său rămâne în lumină și în el nu este ocazie de poticnire.
He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 Dar cel ce urăște pe fratele său este în întuneric și umblă în întuneric și nu știe încotro merge, pentru că acel întuneric i-a orbit ochii.
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 Vă scriu, copilașilor, pentru că păcatele vă sunt iertate pentru numele lui.
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
13 Vă scriu, taților, pentru că ați cunoscut pe cel care este de la început. Vă scriu, tinerilor, pentru că l-ați învins pe cel rău. Vă scriu, copilașilor, pentru că l-ați cunoscut pe Tatăl.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 V-am scris, taților, pentru că l-ați cunoscut pe cel care este de la început. V-am scris, tinerilor, pentru că sunteți tari și cuvântul lui Dumnezeu rămâne în voi și l-ați învins pe cel rău.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Nu iubiți lumea, nici lucrurile care sunt în lume. Dacă cineva iubește lumea, dragostea Tatălui nu este în el.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 Pentru că tot ce este în lume, pofta cărnii și pofta ochilor și lăudăroșia vieții, nu este din Tatăl, ci este din lume.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 Și lumea și pofta ei trece, dar cel ce face voia lui Dumnezeu rămâne pentru totdeauna. (aiōn g165)
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
18 Copilașilor, este timpul de pe urmă și așa cum ați auzit că are să vină anticrist și acum sunt mulți anticriști, prin aceasta știm că este timpul de pe urmă.
Little children, it is the end time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the end time.
19 Au ieșit dintre noi, dar nu erau de-ai noștri, căci dacă ar fi fost de-ai noștri ar fi rămas cu noi, dar au ieșit ca să se arate că nu toți erau de-ai noștri.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20 Dar voi aveți o ungere de la Cel Sfânt și cunoașteți toate lucrurile.
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
21 Nu v-am scris pentru că nu cunoașteți adevărul, ci pentru că îl cunoașteți și pentru că nicio minciună nu este din adevăr.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Cine este mincinos, dacă nu cel ce neagă că Isus este Cristosul? Acela este anticrist, care neagă pe Tatăl și pe Fiul.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Oricine neagă pe Fiul nu are pe Tatăl, dar cel ce mărturisește pe Fiul are și pe Tatăl.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father.
24 De aceea să rămână în voi ce ați auzit de la început. Dacă rămâne în voi ce ați auzit de la început, voi de asemenea veți continua în Fiul și în Tatăl.
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 V-am scris acestea referitor la cei ce vă amăgesc.
These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
27 Dar ungerea, pe care ați primit-o de la el, rămâne în voi și nu aveți nevoie ca cineva să vă învețe; dar așa cum aceeași ungere vă învață despre toate și este adevăr și nu este minciună și chiar așa cum v-a învățat ea, veți rămâne în el.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 Și acum, copilașilor, rămâneți în el, pentru ca atunci când va fi arătat el, să avem cutezanță și să nu fim făcuți de rușine înaintea lui la venirea sa.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
29 Dacă știți că el este drept, știți că toți cei ce împlinesc dreptate sunt născuți din el.
If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
