1 Corinteni 6
1 Cutează vreunul dintre voi, având un lucru împotriva altuia, să meargă la judecată înaintea celor nedrepți și nu înaintea sfinților?
How can anyone of you who has a dispute with another dare to have it judged before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
2 Nu știți că sfinții vor judeca lumea? Și dacă lumea va fi judecată de voi, sunteți voi nedemni să judecați cele mai neînsemnate lucruri?
Do you not know that the saints are to be judging the world? So if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to judge the smallest matters?
3 Nu știți că noi îi vom judeca pe îngeri? Cu cât mai mult cele ce țin de viața aceasta?
Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
4 Dacă într-adevăr aveți judecăți pentru lucrurile care țin de viața aceasta, voi să puneți să judece pe aceia care sunt cel mai puțin stimați în biserică.
Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint those who are least esteemed in the congregation to judge!
5 Spre rușinea voastră vorbesc. Astfel, nu este nimeni înțelept printre voi? Nici măcar unul care să poată judeca între frații săi?
I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is not a single wise man among you who would be competent to judge between a man and his brother?
6 Ci frate se judecă cu frate, și acest lucru înaintea celor ce nu cred.
Instead, brother goes to law against brother, and this before unbelievers!
7 De aceea acum este absolut o vină printre voi, pentru că vă judecați unul cu altul. De ce nu suferiți mai degrabă nedreptate? De ce nu suferiți mai degrabă să fiți înșelați?
Actually, the very fact that you have lawsuits among you already represents a defeat for you. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why not rather accept being cheated?
8 Dimpotrivă, voi nedreptățiți și înșelați, și acestea pe frați!
No, you yourselves do the wronging and cheating, and to brothers!
9 Nu știți că aceia [ce sunt] nedrepți nu vor moșteni împărăția lui Dumnezeu? Nu vă amăgiți: nici curvarii, nici idolatrii, nici adulterii, nici cei efeminați, nici cei ce se abuzează cu oameni,
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites,
10 Nici hoții, nici lacomii, nici bețivii, nici defăimătorii, nici jecmănitorii, nu vor moșteni împărăția lui Dumnezeu.
nor the greedy, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor the abusive, nor swindlers can inherit the Kingdom of God, absolutely.
11 Și astfel erați unii dintre voi; dar sunteți spălați, dar sunteți sfințiți, dar sunteți declarați drepți în numele Domnului Isus și prin Duhul Dumnezeului nostru.
And that is what some of you were; but you were bathed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
12 Toate îmi sunt legiuite, dar nu toate sunt de folos; toate îmi sunt legiuite, dar eu nu voi fi adus sub puterea niciunuia.
All things are ‘permissible’ for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are ‘permissible’ for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
13 Mâncărurile sunt pentru pântece și pântecele pentru mâncăruri; dar Dumnezeu le va nimici deopotrivă și pe acesta și pe acelea. Și trupul nu este pentru curvie, ci pentru Domnul; și Domnul pentru trup.
Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14 Și Dumnezeu a înviat și pe Domnul și ne va învia și pe noi prin puterea sa.
Further, God both raised up the Lord and will also raise up us by His power.
15 Nu știți că trupurile voastre sunt membrele lui Cristos? Voi lua atunci membrele lui Cristos și le voi face membrele unei curve? Nicidecum!
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Not ever!
16 Ce? Nu știți că cel alipit de o curvă este un singur trup cu ea? Căci cei doi, spune el, vor fi un singur trup.
Can you not know that the one who joins himself with a prostitute is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “will become one flesh.”
17 Dar cel alipit de Domnul este un singur duh cu el.
But he who is joined with the Lord is one spirit with Him.
18 Fugiți de curvie. Fiecare păcat ce îl face un om este în afara trupului; dar cel ce curvește păcătuiește împotriva propriului trup.
Flee from fornication! Every sin that a man may commit is outside the body, but he who fornicates sins against his own body.
19 Ce? Nu știți că trupul vostru este templul Duhului Sfânt care este în voi, pe care îl aveți de la Dumnezeu și voi nu sunteți ai voștri?
Do you not know that your bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
20 Fiindcă sunteți cumpărați cu un preț; de aceea glorificați pe Dumnezeu în trupul vostru și în duhul vostru, care sunt ale lui Dumnezeu.
Because you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
