1 Cronici 9
1 Astfel tot Israelul a fost numărat după genealogii; și iată, ei au fost scriși în cartea împăraților lui Israel și Iuda, care au fost duși în Babilon pentru fărădelegea lor.
And [this is] all Israel, [even] their enrolment: and these [are] written down in the book of the kings of Israel and Juda, with the [names of them] that were carried away to Babylon for their transgressions.
2 Și primii locuitori care au locuit în stăpânirile lor, în cetățile lor erau: israeliții, preoții, leviții și netinimii.
And they that lived before in their possessions in the cities of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the appointed ones.
3 Și în Ierusalim au locuit dintre copiii lui Iuda și dintre copiii lui Beniamin și dintre copiii lui Efraim și Manase;
And there lived in Jerusalem some of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasse.
4 Utai, fiul lui Amihud, fiul lui Omri, fiul lui Imri, fiul lui Bani, din copiii lui Farez, fiul lui Iuda.
And Gnothi, and the son of Samiud, the son of Amri, the son of Ambraim, the son of Buni, son of the sons of Phares, the son of Juda.
5 Și dintre șiloniți: Asaia, întâiul născut, și fiii lui.
And of the Selonites; Asaia his firstborn, and his sons.
6 Și dintre fiii lui Zerah: Ieuel și frații lor, șase sute nouăzeci.
Of the sons of Zara; Jeel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 Și dintre fiii lui Beniamin: Salu, fiul lui Meșulam, fiul lui Hodavia, fiul lui Hasenua,
And of the sons of Benjamin; Salom, son of Mosollam, son of Odouia, son of Asinu.
8 Și Ibneia, fiul lui Ieroham și Ela, fiul lui Uzi, fiul lui Micri; și Meșulam, fiul lui Șefatia, fiul lui Reuel, fiul lui Ibnia;
And Jemnaa son of Jeroboam, and Elo: these [are] the sons of Ozi the son of Machir: and Mosollam, son of Saphatia, son of Raguel, son of Jemnai;
9 Și frații lor, conform generațiilor, nouă sute cincizeci și șase. Toți acești bărbați erau mai marii părinților în casa părinților lor.
and their brethren according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six, all the men [were] heads of families according to the houses of their fathers.
10 Și dintre preoți: Iedaeia și Iehoiarib și Iachin,
And of the priests; Jodae, and Joarim, and Jachin,
11 Și Azaria, fiul lui Hilchia, fiul lui Meșulam, fiul lui Țadoc, fiul lui Meraiot, fiul lui Ahitub, conducătorul casei lui Dumnezeu;
and Azaria the son of Chelcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Maraioth, the son of Achitob, the ruler of the house of God;
12 Și Adaia, fiul lui Ieroham, fiul lui Pașhur, fiul lui Malchia; și Maesai, fiul lui Adiel, fiul lui Iahzera, fiul lui Meșulam, fiul lui Meșilemit, fiul lui Imer;
and Adaia son of Iraam, son of Phascor, son of Melchia, and Maasaia son of Adiel, son of Ezira, son of Mosollam, son of Maselmoth, son of Emmer;
13 Și frații lor, capi ai casei părinților lor, o mie șapte sute șaizeci; bărbați capabili să facă lucrarea serviciului casei lui Dumnezeu.
and their brethren, chiefs of their families, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty, mighty [men] for the work of the ministration of the house of God.
14 Și dintre leviți: Șemaia, fiul lui Hașub, fiul lui Azricam, fiul lui Hașabia, din fiii lui Merari;
And of the Levites; Samaia son of Asob, son of Ezricam, son of Asabia, of the sons of Merari.
15 Și Bacbacar, Hereș și Galal și Matania, fiul lui Mica, fiul lui Zicri, fiul lui Asaf;
And Bacbacar, and Ares, and Galaal, and Matthanias son of Micha, son of Zechri, son of Asaph;
16 Și Obadia, fiul lui Șemaia, fiul lui Galal, fiul lui Iedutun și Berechia, fiul lui Așa, fiul lui Elcana, care au locuit în satele netofatiților.
and Abdia, son of Samia, son of Galaal, son of Idithun, and Barachia son of Ossa, son of Helcana—who lived in the villages of the Notephatites.
17 Și portarii erau: Șalum și Acub și Talmon și Ahiman și frații lor: Șalum era mai marele,
The doorkeepers; Salom, Acum, Telmon, and Diman, and their brethren; Salom [was] the chief;
18 Care până atunci au așteptat în poarta împăratului spre est, ei erau portari în cetele copiilor lui Levi.
and [he waited] hitherto in the king's gate eastward: these [are] the gates of the companies of the sons of Levi.

And Sellum the son of Core, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core, and his brethren belonging to the house of his father, the Corites [were] over the works of the service, keeping the watches of the tabernacle, and their fathers over the camp of the Lord, keeping the entrance.
20 Și Fineas, fiul lui Eleazar, a fost odinioară conducător peste ei și DOMNUL a fost cu el.
And Phinees son of Eleazar was head over them before the Lord, and these [were] with him.
21 Și Zaharia, fiul lui Meșelemia, era portar al ușii tabernacolului întâlnirii.
Zacharias the son of Mosollami [was] keeper of the door of the tabernacle of witness.

All the chosen porters in the gates [were] two hundred and twelve, these [were] in their courts, [this was] their distribution: these David and Samuel the seer established in their charge.

And these and their sons [were] over the gates in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the tabernacle, to keep watch.
24 Portarii erau spre cele patru vânturi: spre est, vest, nord și sud.
The gates were towards the four winds, eastward, westward, northward, southward.
25 Și frații lor, care erau în satele lor, veneau pentru șapte zile, din când în când, cu ei.
And their brethren [were] in their courts, to enter in weekly from time to time with these.
26 Fiindcă acești leviți, cei patru portari mai mari, erau în serviciul lor rânduit și erau peste cămările și trezoreriile casei lui Dumnezeu.
For four strong [men] have the charge of the gates; and the Levites were over the chambers, and they keep watch over the treasures of the house of God.
27 Și au locuit de jur împrejurul casei lui Dumnezeu, deoarece sarcina era asupra lor și deschiderea acesteia le aparținea în fiecare dimineață.
For the charge [was] upon them, and these [were] charged with the keys to open the doors of the temple every morning.
28 Și unii dintre ei aveau sarcina servirii vaselor, ca să le aducă înăuntru și să le scoată după număr.
And [some] of them [were appointed] over the vessels of service, that they should carry them in by number, and carry them out by number.
29 Unii dintre ei de asemenea erau rânduiți să supravegheze vasele și toate uneltele sanctuarului și floarea făinii și vinul și untdelemnul și tămâia și mirodeniile.
And [some] of them [were] appointed over the furniture, and over all the holy vessels, and over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Și unii dintre fiii preoților făceau unguent din mirodenii.
And some of the priests were makers of the ointment, and [appointed to prepare] the spices.
31 Și Matitia, unul dintre leviți, care era întâiul născut al lui Șalum coreitul, avea serviciul rânduit peste lucrurile ce erau făcute în tigăi.
And Matthathias of the Levites, (he [was] the firstborn of Salom the Corite, ) [was set] in charge over the sacrifices of meat-offering of the pan belonging to the high priest.
32 Și alții dintre frații lor, dintre fiii chehatiților, erau peste pâinile punerii înainte, să le pregătească în fiecare sabat.
And Banaias the Caathite, from amongst their brethren, [was set] over the show bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 Și aceștia sunt cântăreții, mai mari ai părinților leviților, care rămâneau în cămări dar erau liberi, căci erau angajați în acea lucrare zi și noapte.
And these [were] the singers, heads of families of the Levites, [to whom were] established daily courses, for they were employed in the services day and night.
34 Acești mai mari părinți dintre leviți erau mai mari prin toate generațiile lor; aceștia au locuit la Ierusalim.
These [were] the heads of the families of the Levites according to their generations; these chiefs lived in Jerusalem.
35 Și în Gabaon a locuit tatăl lui Gabaon, Ieiel, numele soției lui era Maaca;
And Jeel the father of Gabaon lived in Gabaon; and his wife's name [was] Moocha.
36 Și întâiul său născut Abdon, apoi Țur și Chiș și Baal și Ner și Nadab,
And his firstborn son [was] Abdon, and [he had] Sur, and Kis, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Și Ghedor și Ahio și Zaharia și Miclot.
and Gedur and [his] brother, and Zacchur, and Makeloth.
38 Și Miclot a născut pe Șimeam. Și au locuit de asemenea cu frații lor la Ierusalim în fața fraților lor.
And Makeloth begot Samaa: and these lived in the midst of their brethren in Jerusalem, [even] in the midst of their brethren.
39 Și Ner a născut pe Chiș; și Chiș a născut pe Saul; și Saul a născut pe Ionatan și pe Malchi-Șua și pe Abinadab și pe Eșbaal.
And Ner begot Kis, and Kis begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Aminadab, and Asabal.
40 Și fiul lui Ionatan era Merib-Baal; și Merib-Baal a născut pe Mica.
And the son of Jonathan [was] Meribaal: and Meribaal begot Micha.
41 Și fiii lui Mica erau: Piton și Melec și Tahrea și Ahaz.
And the sons of Micha [were] Phithon and Malach, and Tharach.
42 Și Ahaz a născut pe Iaera; și Iaera a născut pe Alemet și pe Azmavet și pe Zimri; și Zimri a născut pe Moța;
And Achaz begot Jada: and Jada begot Galemeth, and Gazmoth, and Zambri; and Zambri begot Massa.
43 Și Moța a născut pe Binea; și Refaia, fiul său; Eleasa, fiul său; Ațel, fiul său.
And Massa begot Baana, and Rhaphaia [was] his son, Elasa his son, Esel his son.
44 Și Ațel a avut șase fii, a căror nume sunt acestea: Azricam, Bocru și Ismael și Șearia și Obadia și Hanan; aceștia erau fiii lui Ațel.
And Esel had six sons, and these [were] their names; Esricam his firstborn, and Ismael, and Saraia, and Abdia, and Anan, and Asa: these [were] the sons of Esel.
