1 Fiii lui Levi: Gherșon, Chehat și Merari.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 Și fiii lui Chehat: Amram, Ițehar și Hebron și Uziel.

And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel.

3 Și copiii lui Amram: Aaron și Moise și Miriam. De asemenea fiii lui Aaron: Nadab și Abihu, Eleazar și Itamar.

And the children of Amram, Aaron, and Moses and Miriam. And the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 Eleazar a născut pe Fineas, Fineas a născut pe Abișua,

Eleazar begate Phinehas. Phinehas begate Abishua,

5 Și Abișua a născut pe Buchi și Buchi a născut pe Uzi,

And Abishua begate Bukki, and Bukki begate Vzzi,

6 Și Uzi a născut pe Zerahia și Zerahia a născut pe Meraiot,

And Vzzi begate Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begate Meraioth.

7 Meraiot a născut pe Amaria și Amaria a născut pe Ahitub,

Meraioth begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,

8 Și Ahitub a născut pe Țadoc și Țadoc a născut pe Ahimaaț,

And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Ahimaaz,

9 Și Ahimaaț a născut pe Azaria și Azaria a născut pe Iohanan,

And Ahimaaz begate Azariah, and Azariah begate Iohanan,

10 Și Iohanan a născut pe Azaria, (el este cel care a făcut serviciul de preot în templul pe care Solomon l-a construit în Ierusalim);

12 Și Ahitub a născut pe Țadoc și Țadoc a născut pe Șalum,

And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Shallum,

13 Și Șalum a născut pe Hilchia și Hilchia a născut pe Azaria,

And Shallum begate Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begate Azariah,

14 Și Azaria a născut pe Seraia și Seraia a născut pe Iehoțadac,

And Azariah begate Seraiah, and Seraiah begate Iehozadak,

15 Și Iehoțadac a mers în captivitate, când DOMNUL a dus pe Iuda și Ierusalimul prin mâna lui Nebucadnețar.

And Iehozadak departed when the Lord caried away into captiuitie Iudah and Ierusalem by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar.

16 Fiii lui Levi: Gherșom, Chehat și Merari.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

17 Și acestea sunt numele fiilor lui Gherșom: Libni și Șimei.

And these be the names of the sonnes of Gershom, Libni, and Shimei.

18 Și fiii lui Chehat au fost: Amram și Ițehar și Hebron și Uziel.

And the sonnes of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Vzziel.

19 Fiii lui Merari: Mahli și Muși. Și acestea sunt familiile leviților conform părinților lor.

The sonnes of Merari, Mahli and Mushi: and these are the families of Leui concerning their fathers.

20 Din Gherșom: Libni, fiul său; Iahat, fiul său; Zima, fiul său;

Of Gershom, Libni his sonne, Iahath his sonne, Zimmah his sonne,

21 Ioah, fiul său; Ido, fiul său; Zerah, fiul său; Ieaterai, fiul său.

22 Fiii lui Chehat: Aminadab, fiul său; Core, fiul său; Asir, fiul său;

The sonnes of Kohath, Aminadab his sonne, Korah his sonne, Assir his sonne,

23 Elcana, fiul său; și Ebiasaf, fiul său; și Asir, fiul său;

Elkanah his sonne, and Ebiasaph his sonne, and Assir his sonne,

24 Tahat, fiul său; Uriel, fiul său; Ozia, fiul său; și Șaul, fiul său.

Tahath his sonne, Vriel his sonne, Vzziah his sonne, and Shaul his sonne,

25 Și fiii lui Elcana: Amasai și Ahimot.

And the sonnes of Elkanah, Amasai, and Ahimoth.

Elkanah. the sonnes of Elkanah, Zophai his sonne, and Nahath his sonne,

27 Eliab, fiul său; Ieroham, fiul său; Elcana, fiul său.

28 Și fiii lui Samuel: întâiul născut Vașni și al doilea Abia.

And the sonnes of Shemuel, the eldest Vashni, then Abiah.

29 Fiii lui Merari: Mahli; Libni, fiul său; Șimei, fiul său; Uza fiul său;

The sonnes of Merari were Mahli, Libni his sonne, Shimei his sonne, Vzzah his sonne,

30 Șimei, fiul său; Haghia, fiul său; Asaia, fiul său.

Shimea his sonne, Haggiah his sonne, Asaiah his sonne.

31 Și aceștia sunt cei pe care David i-a pus peste serviciul cântării în casa DOMNULUI, după ce chivotul s-a odihnit.

And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest.

32 Iar ei au servit înaintea locului de așezare a tabernacolului întâlnirii, cu cântare, până când Solomon a construit casa DOMNULUI în Ierusalim; și apoi au făcut serviciul lor conform rândului lor.

And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome.

33 Și aceștia sunt cei care au servit cu copiii lor. Dintre fiii Chehatiților: Heman un cântăreț, fiul lui Ioel, fiul lui Șemuel,

And these ministred with their children: of the sonnes of Kohath, Heman a singer, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Shemuel,

34 Fiul lui Elcana, fiul lui Ieroham, fiul lui Eliel, fiul lui Toah,

The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Eliel, the sonne of Toah,

35 Fiul lui Țuf, fiul lui Elcana, fiul lui Mahat, fiul lui Amasai,

The sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai,

36 Fiul lui Elcana, fiul lui Ioel, fiul lui Azaria, fiul lui Țefania,

The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Zephaniah,

37 Fiul lui Tahat, fiul lui Asir, fiul lui Ebiasaf, fiul lui Core,

The sonne of Tahath, the sonne of Assir, the sonne of Ebiasaph, the sonne of Korah,

38 Fiul lui Ițehar, fiul lui Chehat, fiul lui Levi, fiul lui Israel.

The sonne of Izhar, the sonne of Kohath, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Israel.

39 Și fratele său Asaf, care a stat la dreapta lui, adică Asaf fiul lui Berechia, fiul lui Șimea,

And his brother Asaph stoode on his right hand: and Asaph was the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Shimea,

40 Fiul lui Mihail, fiul lui Baaseia, fiul lui Malchia,

The sonne of Michael, the sonne of Baaseiah, the sonne of Malchiah,

41 Fiul lui Etni, fiul lui Zerah, fiul lui Adaia,

The sonne of Ethni, the sonne of Zerah, the sonne of Adaiah,

42 Fiul lui Etan, fiul lui Zima, fiul lui Șimei,

The sonne of Ethan, the sonne of Zimmah, the sonne of Shimei,

43 Fiul lui Iahat, fiul lui Gherșom, fiul lui Levi.

The sonne of Iahath, the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Leui.

44 Și frații lor, fiii lui Merari, au stat la stânga: Etan, fiul lui Chiși, fiul lui Abdi, fiul lui Maluc,

And their brethren the sonnes of Merari were on the left hand, euen Ethan the sonne of Kishi, the sonne of Abdi, the sonne of Malluch,

45 Fiul lui Hașabia, fiul lui Amația, fiul lui Hilchia,

The sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Amaziah, the sonne of Hilkiah,

46 Fiul lui Amți, fiul lui Bani, fiul lui Șemer,

The sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Shamer,

47 Fiul lui Mahli, fiul lui Muși, fiul lui Merari, fiul lui Levi.

The sonne of Mahli, the sonne of Mushi, the sonne of Merari, the sonne of Leui.

48 De asemenea frații lor, leviții, erau rânduiți pentru tot felul de servicii ale tabernacolului casei lui Dumnezeu.

And their brethren the Leuites were appointed vnto all the seruice of the Tabernacle of the house of God,

49 Dar Aaron și fiii săi au oferit pe altarul ofrandei arse și pe altarul de tămâiere și erau rânduiți pentru toată lucrarea locului preasfânt și pentru a face ispășire pentru Israel, conform cu tot ceea ce Moise, servitorul lui Dumnezeu, poruncise.

But Aaron and his sonnes burnt incense vpon the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all that was to do in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the seruant of God had commanded.

50 Și aceștia sunt fiii lui Aaron: Eleazar, fiul său; Fineas, fiul său; Abișua, fiul său;

These are also the sonnes of Aaron, Eleazar his sonne, Phinehas his sonne, Abishua his sonne,

51 Buchi, fiul său; Uzi, fiul său; Zerahia, fiul său;

Bukki his sonne, Vzzi his sonne, Zerahiah his sonne,

52 Meraiot, fiul său; Amaria, fiul său; Ahitub, fiul său;

Meraioth his sonne, Amariah his sonne, Ahitub his sonne,

53 Țadoc, fiul său; Ahimaaț, fiul său.

Zadok his sonne, and Ahimaaz his sonne.

54 Și acestea sunt locuințele lor prin toate cetățuile lor în ținuturile lor, ale fiilor lui Aaron, ale familiilor Chehatiților; căci al lor a fost sorțul.

And these are the dwelling places of them throughout their townes and coastes, euen of the sonnes of Aaron for the familie of the Kohathites, for the lot was theirs.

So they gaue them Hebron in the lande of Iudah and the suburbes thereof rounde about it.

But the fielde of the citie, and the villages thereof they gaue to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh.

57 Și fiilor lui Aaron le-au dat cetățile lui Iuda, adică, Hebron, cetatea de scăpare și Libna cu împrejurimile ei și Iatir și Eștemoa, cu împrejurimile lor,

And to the sonnes of Aaron they gaue the cities of Iudah for refuge, euen Hebron and Libna with their suburbes, and Iattir, and Eshtemoa with their suburbes,

58 Și Hilen cu împrejurimile ei, Debir cu împrejurimile ei,

And Hilen with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,

59 Și Așan cu împrejurimile ei și Bet-Șemeș cu împrejurimile ei;

And Ashan and her suburbes, and Bethshemesh and her suburbes:

60 Și din tribul lui Beniamin: Gheba cu împrejurimile ei și Alemet cu împrejurimile ei și Anatot cu împrejurimile ei. Toate cetățile lor pentru toate familiile lor erau treisprezece cetăți.

And of the tribe of Beniamin, Geba and her suburbes, and Alemeth with her suburbes, and Anathoth with her suburbes: all their cities were thirteene cities by their families.

61 Și fiilor lui Chehat, rămași din familia acelui trib, li s-au dat prin sorț, zece cetăți, din jumătatea tribului, adică, din jumătatea tribului lui Manase;

And vnto the sonnes of Kohath the remnant of the familie of the tribe, euen of the halfe tribe of the halfe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities.

62 Și fiilor lui Gherșom, prin toate familiile lor, din tribul lui Isahar și din tribul lui Așer și din tribul lui Neftali și din tribul lui Manase în Basan, treisprezece cetăți.

And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.

63 Fiilor lui Merari le-a fost dat prin sorț, prin toate familiile lor, din tribul lui Ruben și din tribul lui Gad și din tribul lui Zabulon, douăsprezece cetăți.

Vnto the sonnes of Merari according to their families out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, by lot twelue cities.

64 Și copiii lui Israel au dat leviților aceste cetăți cu toate împrejurimile lor.

Thus the children of Israel gaue to the Leuites cities with their suburbes.

65 Și le-au dat prin sorț din tribul copiilor lui Iuda și din tribul copiilor lui Simeon și din tribul copiilor lui Beniamin, aceste cetăți, care sunt numite pe numele lor.

And they gaue by lot out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Beniamin, these cities, which they called by their names.

66 Și rămășița familiilor fiilor lui Chehat avea cetăți din ținuturile lor din tribul lui Efraim.

And they of the families of the sonnes of Kohath, had cities and their coastes out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Și le-au dat, dintre cetățile de scăpare, Sihem în muntele Efraim cu împrejurimile ei; au dat de asemenea Ghezer cu împrejurimile ei,

And they gaue vnto them cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and her suburbes, and Gezer and her suburbes,

68 Și Iochmeam cu împrejurimile ei și Bet-Horon cu împrejurimile ei,

Iokmeam also and her suburbes, and Bethhoron with her suburbes,

69 Și Aialon cu împrejurimile ei și Gat-Rimon cu împrejurimile ei;

And Aialon and her suburbes, and Gath Rimmon and her suburbes,

70 Și din jumătatea tribului lui Manase: Aner cu împrejurimile ei și Bileam cu împrejurimile ei, pentru familia din rămășița fiilor lui Chehat.

And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Aner and her suburbes, and Bileam and her suburbes, for the families of the remnant of the sonnes of Kohath.

71 Fiilor lui Gherșom li s-au dat din familia jumătății tribului lui Manase, Golan în Basan cu împrejurimile ei și Aștarot cu împrejurimile ei;

Vnto the sonnes of Gershom out of the familie of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and her suburbes, and Ashtaroth with her suburbes,

72 Și din tribul lui Isahar: Chedeș cu împrejurimile ei, Dabarat cu împrejurimile ei;

And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh and her suburbes, Daberath and her suburbes,

73 Și Ramot cu împrejurimile ei și Anem cu împrejurimile ei;

Ramoth also and her suburbes, and Anem with her suburbes,

74 Și din tribul lui Așer: Mașal cu împrejurimile ei și Abdon cu împrejurimile ei;

And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal and her suburbes, and Abdon and her suburbes,

75 Și Hucoc cu împrejurimile ei și Rehob cu împrejurimile ei;

And Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbes,

76 Și din tribul lui Neftali: Chedeș, în Galileea, cu împrejurimile ei și Hamon cu împrejurimile ei și Chiriataim cu împrejurimile ei.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilea and her suburbes, and Hammon and her suburbes, and Kiriathaim and her suburbes.

77 Restului copiilor lui Merari le-a fost dat din tribul lui Zabulon: Rimon cu împrejurimile ei, Tabor cu împrejurimile ei;

Vnto the rest of the children of Merari were giuen out of ye tribe of Zebulun Rimmon and her suburbes, Tabor and her suburbes,

78 Și de partea cealaltă a Iordanului lângă Ierihon, pe partea de est a Iordanului, le-a fost dat din a tribului lui Ruben, Bețer în pustiu cu împrejurimile ei și Iahța cu împrejurimile ei,

And on the other side Iorden by Iericho, euen on the Eastside of Iorden, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wildernesse with her suburbes, and Iahzah with her suburbes,

79 Chedemot, de asemenea, cu împrejurimile ei și Mefaat cu împrejurimile ei;

And Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes,

80 Și din tribul lui Gad: Ramot în Galaad cu împrejurimile ei și Mahanaim cu împrejurimile ei,

And out of the tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,

81 Și Hesbon cu împrejurimile ei și Iaezer cu împrejurimile ei.

And Heshbon with her suburbes, and Iaazer with her suburbes.
