1 Aceștia sunt fiii lui Israel: Ruben, Simeon, Levi și Iuda, Isahar și Zabulon,
These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dan, Iosif și Beniamin, Neftali, Gad și Așer.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Fiii lui Iuda: Er și Onan și Șela, aceștia trei i-au fost născuți din fiica lui Șua canaanita. Și Er, întâiul născut al lui Iuda, era rău înaintea vederii DOMNULUI; iar el l-a ucis.
The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of YHWH; and he slew him.
4 Și Tamar nora lui i-a născut pe Farez și pe Zerah. Toți fiii lui Iuda au fost cinci.
And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5 Fiii lui Farez: Hețron și Hamul.
The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
6 Și fiii lui Zerah: Zimri și Etan și Heman și Calcol și Dara, în total: cinci.
And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
7 Și fiii lui Carmi: Acar, tulburătorul lui Israel, care a încălcat legea în ceea ce era blestemat.
And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
8 Și fiii lui Etan: Azaria.
And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 Și Ram a născut pe Aminadab; și Aminadab a născut pe Nahșon, prinț al copiilor lui Iuda;
And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11 Și Nahșon a născut pe Salma și Salma a născut pe Boaz,
And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12 Și Boaz a născut pe Obed și Obed a născut pe Isai,
And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
13 Și Isai a născut pe întâiul născut al său Eliab și pe Abinadab, al doilea și pe Șimea, al treilea,
And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14 Pe Netaneel, al patrulea, pe Radai, al cincilea,

17 Și Abigail a născut pe Amasa; și tatăl lui Amasa a fost Ieter, ismaelitul.
And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
18 Și Caleb fiul lui Hețron a născut copii din Azuba soția lui și din Ieriot, aceștia sunt fiii ei: Ieșer și Șobab și Ardon.
And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Și după ce Azuba a murit, Caleb a luat-o la el pe Efrata, care i-a născut pe Hur.
And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20 Și Hur a născut pe Uri și Uri a născut pe Bețaleel.
And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21 Și după aceasta Hețron a intrat la fiica lui Machir tatăl lui Galaad, cu care s-a căsătorit când el era în vârstă de șaizeci de ani; și i-a născut pe Segub;
And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
22 Și Segub a născut pe Iair, care a avut douăzeci și trei de cetăți în țara lui Galaad,
And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23 Și Hețron a luat Gheșurul și Aramul, cu orașele din Iair, de la ei, cu Chenatul și orașele acestuia, chiar șaizeci de cetăți. Toate acestea au aparținut fiilor lui Machir, tatăl lui Galaad;
And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24 Și după ce Hețron a murit în Caleb-Efrata, atunci Abia, soția lui Hețron, i-a născut pe Așhur, tatăl lui Tecoa.
And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25 Și fiii lui Ierahmeel, întâiul născut din Hețron, au fost: Ram întâiul născut și Buna și Oren și Oțem și Ahiia.
And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26 Ierahmeel a avut de asemenea o altă soție, a cărei nume a fost Atara; ea a fost mama lui Onam.
Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 Și fiii lui Ram întâiul născut al lui Ierahmeel au fost: Maaț și Iamin și Echer.
And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 Și fiii lui Onam au fost: Șamai și Iada. Și fiii lui Șamai: Nadab și Abișur.
And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.
29 Și numele soției lui Abișur a fost Abihail și i-a născut pe Ahban și pe Molid.
And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30 Și fiii lui Nadab: Seled și Apaim; dar Seled a murit fără copii.
And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31 Și fiii lui Apaim: Ișei. Și fiii lui Ișei: Șeșan. Și copiii lui Șeșan: Ahlai.
And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
32 Și fiii lui Iada, fiul lui Șamai: Ieter și Ionatan; și Ieter a murit fără copii.
And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33 Și fiii lui Ionatan: Pelet și Zaza. Aceștia au fost fiii lui Ierahmeel.
And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Și Șeșan nu a avut fii, ci fiice. Și Șeșan a avut un servitor, un egiptean, a cărui nume era Iarha.
Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35 Și Șeșan a dat pe fiica sa lui Iarha servitorul său, de soție; și ea i-a născut pe Atai.
And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
36 Și Atai a născut pe Natan și Natan a născut pe Zabad,
And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37 Și Zabad a născut pe Eflal și Eflal a născut pe Obed,
And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38 Și Obed a născut pe Iehu și Iehu a născut pe Azaria,
And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,
39 Și Azaria a născut pe Haleț și Haleț a născut pe Elasa,
And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40 Și Elasa a născut pe Sismai și Sismai a născut pe Șalum,
And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,
41 Și Șalum a născut pe Iecamia și Iecamia a născut pe Elișama.

And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 Și Șema a născut pe Raham, tatăl lui Iorcheam; și Rechem a născut pe Șamai.
And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.
45 Și fiul lui Șamai a fost Maon; și Maon a fost tatăl lui Bet-Țur.
And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
46 Și Efa, concubina lui Caleb, a născut pe Haran și pe Moța și pe Gazez; și Haran a născut pe Gazez.
And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.
47 Și fiii lui Iahdai: Reghem și Iotam și Gheșan și Pelet și Efa și Șaaf.
And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Concubina lui Caleb, Maaca, a născut pe Șeber și pe Tirhana.
Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.
49 Ea a născut de asemenea pe Șaaf, tatăl lui Madmana; Șeva, tatăl lui Mahbena și tatăl lui Ghibea; și fiica lui Caleb a fost Acsa.
She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50 Aceștia au fost fiii lui Caleb, fiul lui Hur, întâiul născut al lui Efrata; Șobal tatăl lui Chiriat-Iearim,
These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,
51 Salma tatăl lui Betleem, Haref tatăl lui Bet-Gader.
Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 Și Șobal, tatăl lui Chiriat-Iearim, a avut fii: Haroe și jumătate din menuhotiți.
And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.
53 Și familiile lui Chiriat-Iearim: ietriții și putiții și șumatiții și mișraiții; din ei au venit țoreatiții și eștaoliții.
And the families of Kirjath-jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54 Fiii lui Salma: Betleem și netofatiții, Atarot, casa lui Ioab și jumătate din menuhotiți, țoriții.
The sons of Salma; Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.
55 Și familiile scribilor care locuiau la Iaebeț: tiratiții, șimeatiții și sucatiții. Aceștia sunt cheniții care au ieșit din Hamat, tatăl casei lui Rehab.
And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
