And then Segub conceived Jair, and he possessed twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

And he seized Geshur and Aram, towns of Jair, and Kenath and its villages, sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir, father of Gilead.

26 Ierahmeel a avut de asemenea o altă soție, a cărei nume a fost Atara; ea a fost mama lui Onam.
Jerahmeel also married another wife, named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.

Then too, the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

And Onam had sons: Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 Și numele soției lui Abișur a fost Abihail și i-a născut pe Ahban și pe Molid.
Truly, the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, who bore to him Ahban and Molid.
30 Și fiii lui Nadab: Seled și Apaim; dar Seled a murit fără copii.
Now the sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim. And Seled died without children.
31 Și fiii lui Apaim: Ișei. Și fiii lui Ișei: Șeșan. Și copiii lui Șeșan: Ahlai.
Truly, the son of Appaim was Ishi. And Ishi conceived Sheshan. Then Sheshan conceived Ahlai.
32 Și fiii lui Iada, fiul lui Șamai: Ieter și Ionatan; și Ieter a murit fără copii.
But the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai, were Jether and Jonathan. Then Jether also died without children.
33 Și fiii lui Ionatan: Pelet și Zaza. Aceștia au fost fiii lui Ierahmeel.
And Jonathan conceived Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Și Șeșan nu a avut fii, ci fiice. Și Șeșan a avut un servitor, un egiptean, a cărui nume era Iarha.
Now Sheshan did not have sons, but only daughters, and an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

And so he gave to him his daughter as wife, who bore to him Attai.

Now Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez. And Haran conceived Gazez.
47 Și fiii lui Iahdai: Reghem și Iotam și Gheșan și Pelet și Efa și Șaaf.
And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Concubina lui Caleb, Maaca, a născut pe Șeber și pe Tirhana.

These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratha: Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;

Salma, the father of Bethlehem; Hareph, the father of Bethgader.
