1 Дэ кодыя вряма императоро Августо чинда упхэнимо, соб тэ пэрэдинэ и тэ зачинэ, скици манушэн джювэл пав всавири римско пхув.
It came to pass then in the days those went out a decree from Caesar Augustus to register all the world.
2 Када сля англуно упхэнимо пала кода, соб тэ пэрэдинэ и тэ зачинэ манушэн, кодэла вряматар, кала Квиринии ачиля раеґа дэ Сирия.
This (*k*) registration first took place when is governing Syria Quirinius.
3 И всавэрэ мануша джянас тэ зачинэпэ, кожно дэ пэхкоро форо.
And were going all to be registered, each to the (their own *N(k)O*) city.
4 Тунчи и Иосифо Назаретостар, саво ачел дэ Галилея, джиля дэ Иудея, дэ форо Давидохкоро, Вифлеемо, колэсти со вов сля Давидохкэрэ родостар.
Went up then also Joseph from Galilee out of [the] town of Nazareth to Judea to [the] City of David which is called Bethlehem, because of being him from [the] house and family of David,
5 Иосифо джиля, соб лэ тэ зачинэн, їтханэ Марияґа, лэхкиря тэрняґа, сави сля пхари.
to register with Mary who [was] betrothed to him (wife *k*) she being with child.
6 Дэ Вифлеемо авиля вряма, кала лати трэбуни сля тэ бэнё.
It came to pass then in their being them there were fulfilled the days of the giving birth of her,
7 Тай бэня пэхкэрэ англунэ Чявэ, закхувда Лэ дэ похтан тай тховда дэ граждо, колэсти со дэ цэр важ акхардэн манушэн на сля лэнди тхан.
And she brought forth the son of her the firstborn and wrapped in swaddling cloths him and she laid Him in (*k*) a manger, because not there was for them a place in the inn.
8 Надур сле чукняря, савэ чяравэнас пэ маля пэхкэрэн бакрэн и бузнен и прыдыкхэнас пала лэн ратяґа.
And shepherds were in the region same lodging in the fields and keeping watch by night over the flock of them.
9 И акэ, ачиля англа лэндэ ангело Раехкоро, и слава Дэвлэстар, сар баро одуд, дэня пэ лэндэ. И бари дар облиля лэн.
And (behold *KO*) an angel of [the] Lord stood by them, and [the] glory of [the] Lord shone around them, and they feared [with] fear great.
10 Нэ ангело пхэнда лэнди: — На даран! Мэ пхэнава тумэнди пала бари лош, сави авэла всавэрэ манушэнди.
And said to them the angel; Not do fear; behold for I bring good news to you [of] joy great which will be to all the people
11 Акана бэняпэ тумэнди дэ форо Давидохкоро Фирисари, Саво исин Рай Христосо.
For has been born to you today a Savior who is Christ [the] Lord in [the] City of David.
12 И акэ тумэнди шпэра: тумэ аракхэна Чяворэ, закхувдэ дэ похтан, Саво пашлёл дэ граждо.
And this [is] to you the sign: You will find a baby swaddled (and *no*) lying in (*k*) a manger.
13 Тунчи упралимастар авиле фартэ бут ангелонэн, савэ ваздэне бари слава Дэвлэсти тай пхэнэнас:
And suddenly there came with the angel a multitude of [the] host (heavenly *NK(o)*) praising God and saying:
14 — Слава Дэвлэсти пэ упралима, а пэ пхуя пачя манушэнди, важ савэн ковлиля Дэвлэхкоро їло!
Glory in [the] highest to God, and on earth peace among men (of good-will. *N(k)O*)
15 Кала ангелуря ваздэнепэ лэндар упрэ, чукняря пхэндэ екх екхэсти: — Авэн дэ Вифлеемо, дыкхаґа, со котэ стердапэ, пала со амэнди пхэнда Рай.
And it came to pass as they were departing from them into the heaven the angels, (and *ko*) the (men *ko*) shepherds (were speaking *N(k)O*) to one another; Let us go through indeed until Bethlehem and let us see declaration this that having happened which the Lord has made known to us.
16 Вонэ сиго авиле дэ форо Вифлеемо и аракхле Мария, Иосифо тай Чяворэ, Саво пашлёлас дэ граждо.
And they came having hurried and they found both Mary and Joseph and the baby lying in the manger.
17 Ай кала дыкхле Лэ, тунчи розпхэндэ лэнди вса, со вонэ ашундэ пала Чяворэ.
Having seen now (they made known *N(k)O*) concerning the declaration which having been told to them concerning Child this.
18 Всавэрэ, ко шундэ лэн, дэнас дыво лавэнди, савэ пхэндэ чукняря.
And all those having heard they marveled concerning the [things] having been spoken by the shepherds to them.
19 Ай Мария стховэлас кадэла лава дэ пэхкэрэ їлэ тай думисарэлас пала лэн.
But Mary all was treasuring up declarations these pondering [them] in the heart of her.
20 Тунчи чукняря рисиле павпалэ, ашарэнас Дэвлэ и ваздэнас Лэсти слава пала кода, со дыкхле и со лэнди сля пхэндо.
And (returned *N(k)O*) the shepherds glorifying and praising God for all things which they had heard and seen even as it was said to them.
21 Пэ охто диво, кала авиля вряма тэ обчинэ Чяворэ, Лэсти дэне Лав Исусо. Кадэва Лав дэня Лэсти ангело, кала дэй Исусохкири инте на сля пхари.
And when were fulfilled days eight to circumcise (Him *no*) (the child *K*) then was called the name of Him Jesus, which He had been called by the angel before conceiving He in the womb.
22 Авиля вряма, кала Мария тай Иосифо жужардэпэ пав Моисеехкэрэ Упхэнима, тай тунчи вонэ лиджялдэ Чяворэ дэ Ерусалимо, соб тэ свэнтисарэ Лэ Раести.
And when were fulfilled the days of the purification of them according to the law of Moses, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present to the Lord
23 Сар чиндо дэ Дэвлэхкэрэ Упхэнима: «Чяворэ, саво бэняпэ англуно, трэбуни тэ свэнтисарэ Раести».
even as it has been written in [the] law of [the] Lord that Every male opening a womb holy to the Lord will be called;
24 И тэ анэ свэнто жэртва, дон ґолубонэн чи дон ґолубонэнгэрэ пуицен, сар пхэндо дэ Упхэнима Раехкэрэ.
and to offer a sacrifice according to that said in (the *no*) law of [the] Lord; A pair of turtle doves or two young pigeons.
25 Тунчи джювда дэ Ерусалимо екх мануш, савэ акхарэнас Симеоно. Вов сля дэвликуно тай жужэ їлэґа и дожутярэлас, со Дэвэл подрицарэла Израиле, тай Свэнто Фано сля пэ лэстэ.
And behold a man there was in Jerusalem whose name [was] Simeon and man this [was] righteous and devout waiting for [the] consolation of Israel; and [the] Spirit was Holy upon him.
26 Свэнто Фано пхэнда лэсти, со вов на мэрэла ды кодэлэ, сар на удыкхэла Христо Дэвлэхкэрэ.
And it was to him revealed by the Spirit Holy not to see death before than (when *no*) he may see the Christ of [the] Lord
27 Лэ лиджялда Свэнто Фано дэ храмо, кала дад и дэй андэ Чяворэ Исусо, соб тэ стерэ вса, сар трэбуни пав Упхэнима.
And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and in the [time when] bringing in the parents the child Jesus for the [thing] [were] doing they according to that accustomed by the law for Him,
28 Симеоно лиля Чяворэ пэ вастэн, ваздэня слава Дэвлэсти тай пхэнда:
then he himself received Him into the arms (of him *ko*) and blessed God and said:
29 — Акана отмукэх Ту, Дэвла, Хулае, Тирэ бутярнэ и дэх лэсти пачя кади, сар Ту и пхэндан.
Now You dismiss the servant of You, Lord, according to the declaration of You in peace
30 Колэсти со дыкхле мурэ якха фирисаримо Тиро,
for have seen the eyes of mine the salvation of You
31 саво Ту лачярдан англа всавэрэн манушэн.
which You have prepared before [the] face of all the peoples,
32 Вов — одуд, саво дэла душлимо важ всавэрэ народуря и анэла слава Тирэ манушэнди, Израилести.
a light for revelation of [the] Gentiles and glory of [the] people of You of Israel.
33 Дад и дэй прылиле пала дыво лава, савэ Симеоно пхэнда пала Чяворэ.
And were (the *no*) (father *N(K)O*) of Him and the mother marveling at the [things] being spoken concerning Him.
34 Тунчи Симеоно пхэнда бахталэ лава лэнди тай дэдуманя Марияти, Исусохкиря дати: — Важ Кадэлэ Чяворэ, Саво пашлёл катэ, бут манушэн дэ Израили тэлэдэна и бут ваздэнапэ. И тути еджиняти чюри заджяла дэ їлэ.
And blessed them Simeon and said to Mary the mother of Him: Behold this [Child] is appointed for [the] falling and rising up of many in Israel and for a sign spoken against.
35 Вов авэла сар шпэра, сави бут мануша на прылэна. И оттерэлапэ вса чёрахано, со мануша рицарэн пэстэ дэ їлэн.
and of you also of her the soul will go through a sword — so that maybe may be revealed of many hearts [the] thoughts.
36 Катэ кади ж сля и англунарька Анна, чей Фануилохкири, Асирохкэрэ родостар. Вой сля манушни дэ пуранэн бэршэн, сави выджиля паларом тэрня чяґа и пэхкэрэ ромэґа проджювда эфта бэрш.
And there was Anna a prophetess, daughter of Phanuel, of [the] tribe of Asher; she having advanced in years great, having lived with a husband years seven from the marriage of herself;
37 Тунчи латэ муля ром, и вой джювда еджини охтодэша штар бэрш. Диво и рят вой терэлас бути важ Дэвлэ, сля дэ мангима и посто и на уджялас храмостар.
and she [was] a widow (until *N(k)O*) years eighty [and] four who not was departing (from *k*) the temple with fastings and prayers serving night and day;
38 Дэ кодыя вряма вой поджиля и ачиля тэ ашарэ Дэвлэ. Тай розпхэнэлас пала Чяворэ всавэрэнди, савэ дожутярэнас фирисаримо важ Ерусалимо.
And (this *k*) she at that hour having come up she was giving praise (to God *N(K)O*) and was speaking concerning Him to all those waiting for [the] redemption (in *k*) of Jerusalem.
39 Кала Мария и Иосифо стердэ Чяворэґа вса пав Упхэнима Раехкэрэ, тунчи рисиле павпалэ дэ Галилея, дэ пэхкоро форо Назарето.
And when they had performed (everything *N(k)O*) according to the law of [the] Lord, (they returned *N(k)O*) to Galilee to (the *k*) town (of themselves *N(k)O*) Nazareth.
40 Чяворо ж барёлас тай бэршэнца прылэлас бари годи и зор, тай Дэвлэхкоро мищимо сля Лэґа.
And the Child was continuing to grow and He was being strengthened (in spirit *K*) being filled (with wisdom, *N(k)O*) and [the] grace of God was upon Him.
41 Исусохкэрэ дад и дэй кожно бэрш пхирэнас пэ Патради дэ Ерусалимо.
And were going the parents of Him every year to Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover.
42 И кала Лэсти сля дэшудуй бэрш, вонэ джиле дэ Ерусалимо пэ сырботори, сар сля прылито.
And when He was years [old] twelve (when were going up *N(k)O*) they (into Jerusalem *KO*) according to the custom of the Feast
43 А кала проджиля сырботори и вонэ рисявэнас цэрэ, Чяворо Исусо ачиляпэ дэ Ерусалимо, нэ дад и дэй на додыкхле када.
and when having completed the days in the returning of them remained behind Jesus the boy in Jerusalem, But not (knew *N(k)O*) (the parents *NO*) (Joseph and the mother *K*) of Him.
44 Нэ думисардэ, со Вов джял аврэ манушэнца. Кала ж проджиле екх диво дромэґа, тунчи ачиле тэ родэ Лэ машкар пэхкэрэн манушэн и джянглэн.
Having supposed now Him to be in their company they went a day’s journey and were seeking Him among the relatives and (in *k*) the acquaintances.
45 Тай на аракхле Лэ, тунчи рисиле дэ Ерусалимо и родэнас Лэ котэ.
and not having found (Him *k*) they returned to Jerusalem (searching *N(k)O*) Him.
46 Кала проджиле трин дивэ, аракхле Лэ дэ храмо. Вов бэшэлас сиклимаренца, шунэлас лэн тай пхучелас лэндэ.
And it came to pass after days three they found Him in the temple sitting in [the] midst of the teachers both hearing them and questioning them.
47 Всавэрэ шунэнас Лэ тай дэнас дыво Лэхкэрэ годяти тай лавэнди.
Were amazed then all those hearing Him at the understanding and at the answers of Him.
48 Кала дад и дэй удыкхле Лэ, прылиле када пала баро дыво. Тунчи Лэхкири дэй пхэнда Лэсти: — Чяворо! Со Ту стердан амэнца? Мэ тай дад Тиро родаґас Тут баря дукхаґа дэ їлэн.
And having seen Him they were astonished, and said to Him the mother of Him: Child why You did to us thus? Behold the father of You and I myself and I myself distressing (were seeking *NK(o)*) You.
49 Вов пхэнда лэнди: — Пэ со тумэ родэнас Ман? Чи на джянэн тумэ, со Манди трэбуни тэ авэ дэ цэр Мурэ Дадэстэ?
And He said to them; Why [is it] for you were seeking Me? Surely you knew that in the [house] of the Father of Mine it behooves to be Me?
50 Нэ вонэ на полиле, пала со Вов пхэнда.
And they themselves not understood the declaration that He spoke to them.
51 Вов рисиля лэнца дэ Назарето тай сля кандуно лэнди. Лэхкири ж дэй стидэлас кодэла лава дэ пэхкэрэ їлэ.
And He went down with them and He came to Nazareth and He was subject to them. And the mother of Him was treasuring up all declaration (these *ko*) in the heart of her.
52 Исусо барёлас, и Лэхкири годи ачелас барэдэр, а Дэвэл и мануша камэнас Лэ вса будэр и будэр.
And Jesus was continuing to advance (in *n*) (*no*) wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.
