Zacarias 4

1 O anjo que falou comigo veio novamente e me despertou, como um homem que é despertado de seu sono.

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

2 Ele me disse: “O que você vê?”. Eu disse: “Eu vi, e eis que uma lâmpada está toda de ouro, com sua tigela em cima, e suas sete lâmpadas em cima; há sete tubos para cada uma das lâmpadas que estão em cima dela;

And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I see, and behold, a lamp-stand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps thereon, seven [lamps] and seven pipes to the lamps, which are upon the top thereof;

3 e duas oliveiras ao lado dela, uma do lado direito da tigela, e outra do lado esquerdo dela”.

and two olive-trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl, and the other on the left of it.

4 Eu respondi e falei com o anjo que falou comigo, dizendo: “O que é isto, meu senhor”?

And I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

5 Então o anjo que falou comigo me respondeu: “Você não sabe o que é isso?”. Eu disse: “Não, meu senhor”.

And the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

6 Então ele respondeu e falou comigo, dizendo: “Esta é a palavra de Javé para Zerubbabel, dizendo: 'Não pelo poder, nem pelo poder, mas pelo meu Espírito', diz Javé dos Exércitos.

And he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts.

7 Quem é você, grande montanha? Antes de Zorobabel você é uma planície; e ele fará sair a pedra de toque com gritos de 'Graça, graça, a ela'”.

Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou dost become] a plain; and he shall bring forth the head-stone with shoutings: Grace, grace unto it!

8 Além disso, a palavra de Javé veio até mim, dizendo:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

9 “As mãos de Zerubbabel lançaram os alicerces desta casa. Suas mãos também a terminarão; e você saberá que Javé dos Exércitos me enviou a você”.

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; and his hands shall finish it: and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you.

10 De fato, quem despreza o dia das pequenas coisas? Pois estes sete se alegrarão, e verão a linha de prumo na mão de Zerubabel. Estes são os olhos de Javé, que correm para frente e para trás em toda a terra”.

For who hath despised the day of small things? Yea, they shall rejoice [even] those seven — and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel: these are the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro in the whole earth.

11 Depois perguntei-lhe: “O que são estas duas oliveiras no lado direito da bancada e no lado esquerdo da mesma”?

And I answered and said unto him, What are these two olive-trees on the right of the lamp-stand and on its left?

12 Perguntei-lhe pela segunda vez: “O que são esses dois ramos de oliveira, que estão ao lado dos dois bicos dourados que derramam o óleo dourado de si mesmos?

And I answered the second time and said unto him, What are the two olive-branches which are beside the two golden tubes that empty the gold out of themselves?

13 Ele me respondeu: “Você não sabe o que é isso?” Eu disse: “Não, meu senhor”.

And he spoke to me, saying, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

14 Então ele disse: “Estes são os dois ungidos que estão ao lado do Senhor de toda a terra”.

And he said, These are the two sons of oil, that stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
