Zacarias 3

1 Ele me mostrou Josué, o sumo sacerdote de pé diante do anjo de Yahweh, e Satanás de pé à sua direita para ser seu adversário.

And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.

2 Javé disse a Satanás: “Javé te repreende, Satanás! Sim, Javé, que escolheu Jerusalém, repreende-o! Isto não é um pau em chamas arrancado do fogo”?

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 Agora Josué estava vestido com roupas sujas, e estava de pé diante do anjo.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.

4 Ele respondeu e falou aos que estavam diante dele, dizendo: “Tirem as vestes imundas dele”. A ele disse: “Eis que fiz passar de ti a tua iniqüidade, e te vestirei com roupas ricas”.

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel.

5 Eu disse: “Deixe-os colocar um turbante limpo em sua cabeça”. Então eles colocaram um turbante limpo em sua cabeça, e o vestiram; e o anjo de Yahweh estava esperando.

And I said, Let them set a clean mitre upon his head. So they set a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of Jehovah was standing by.

6 O anjo de Yahweh assegurou Josué, dizendo:

And the angel of Jehovah protested unto Joshua, saying,

7 “Yahweh dos Exércitos diz: 'Se você caminhar em meus caminhos, e se seguir minhas instruções, então você também julgará minha casa, e também manterá meus tribunais, e eu lhe darei um lugar de acesso entre estes que ficam a postos.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place of access among these that stand by.

8 Ouça agora, Josué, o sumo sacerdote, você e seus companheiros que se sentam diante de você, pois são homens que são um sinal; pois, eis que eu farei sair meu servo, o Ramo.

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

9 Pois eis a pedra que pus diante de Josué: sobre uma pedra estão sete olhos; eis que gravarei sua inscrição', diz Javé dos Exércitos, 'e removerei a iniqüidade daquela terra em um dia'.

For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; upon one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 Naquele dia', diz Javé dos Exércitos, 'você convidará cada homem seu próximo sob a videira e sob a figueira'”.

In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree.
