Salmos 95

1 Oh venha, vamos cantar para Yahweh. Vamos gritar em voz alta para a rocha de nossa salvação!

Come, let vs reioyce vnto the Lord: let vs sing aloude vnto the rocke of our saluation.

2 Venha antes de sua presença com a ação de graças. Vamos exaltá-lo com canções!

Let vs come before his face with praise: let vs sing loude vnto him with Psalmes.

3 Pois Yahweh é um grande Deus, um grande rei acima de todos os deuses.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.

4 Em sua mão estão os lugares profundos da terra. As alturas das montanhas também são dele.

In whose hande are the deepe places of the earth, and the heightes of the mountaines are his:

5 O mar é dele, e ele o fez. Suas mãos formaram a terra seca.

To whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land.

6 Oh venha, vamos adorar e curvar-nos. Vamos ajoelhar-nos diante de Yahweh, nosso Criador,

Come, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.

7 pois ele é nosso Deus. Nós somos o povo de seu pasto, e as ovelhas ao seu cuidado. Hoje, oh que você ouviria a voz dele!

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheepe of his hande: to day, if ye will heare his voyce,

8 Não endureça seu coração, como no Meribah, como no dia do Massah no deserto,

Harden not your heart, as in Meribah, and as in the day of Massah in the wildernesse.

9 quando seus pais me tentaram, me testou, e viu meu trabalho.

Where your fathers tempted me, proued me, though they had seene my worke.

10 Durante quarenta longos anos fiquei de luto com essa geração, e disse: “Eles são um povo que erra em seu coração”. Eles não conheceram meus caminhos”.

Fourtie yeeres haue I contended with this generation, and said, They are a people that erre in heart, for they haue not knowen my wayes.

11 Portanto, jurei em minha ira, “Eles não vão entrar no meu descanso”.

Wherefore I sware in my wrath, saying, Surely they shall not enter into my rest.
