Salmos 92

1 Um salmo. Uma canção para o dia de sábado. It é uma coisa boa para se dar graças a Javé, para cantar louvores ao seu nome, Most High,

A Psalm [or] Song for the sabbath day. [It is a] good [thing] to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.

2 para proclamar sua amorosa gentileza pela manhã, e sua fidelidade a cada noite,

To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.

3 com o alaúde de dez cordas, com a harpa, e com a melodia da lira.

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

4 Para você, Yahweh, me fez feliz através de seu trabalho. Eu triunfarei no trabalho de suas mãos.

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5 Como são grandes seus trabalhos, Yahweh! Seus pensamentos são muito profundos.

O LORD, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts are very deep.

6 Um homem sem sentido não sabe, nem um tolo entende isto:

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7 though o perverso brota como a grama, e todos os malfeitores florescem, eles serão destruídos para sempre.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8 Mas você, Yahweh, está no alto para sempre mais.

But thou, LORD, [art most] high for evermore.

9 Pois eis que seus inimigos, Yahweh, pois eis que seus inimigos perecerão. Todos os malfeitores serão dispersos.

For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10 Mas você exaltou meu chifre como o do boi selvagem. Sou ungido com óleo fresco.

But my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11 Meu olho também viu meus inimigos. Meus ouvidos já ouviram falar dos inimigos perversos que se levantam contra mim.

My eye also shall see [my desire] on my enemies, [and] my ears shall hear [my desire] of the wicked that rise up against me.

12 Os justos devem florescer como a palmeira. Ele crescerá como um cedro no Líbano.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 They são plantadas na casa de Yahweh. Eles florescerão nos tribunais de nosso Deus.

Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 Eles ainda produzirão frutas na velhice. Eles estarão cheios de seiva e verdes,

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 para mostrar que Yahweh é íntegro. Ele é meu rochedo, e não há nele nenhuma injustiça.

To show that the LORD [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him.
