Salmos 9
1 Para o músico chefe. Ajustado para “A Morte do Filho”. Um Salmo de David. I vai agradecer a Iavé com todo o meu coração. Vou falar de todos os seus maravilhosos trabalhos.
“To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
2 Ficarei feliz e me regozijarei com vocês. Cantarei louvores ao seu nome, ó Altíssimo.
I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
3 When meus inimigos voltam para trás, eles tropeçam e perecem em sua presença.
When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
4 Pois você tem mantido minha justa causa. Você se senta no trono julgando com retidão.
For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
5 Você repreendeu as nações. Você destruiu os ímpios. Você apagou o nome deles para todo o sempre.
Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
6 O inimigo é ultrapassado por uma ruína sem fim. A própria memória das cidades que você derrubou pereceu.
O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
7 Mas Yahweh reina para sempre. Ele preparou seu trono para o julgamento.
But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
8 Ele julgará o mundo com retidão. Ele administrará o julgamento aos povos em plena retidão.
And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
9 Yahweh será também uma torre alta para os oprimidos; uma torre alta em tempos de problemas.
The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
10 Aqueles que conhecem seu nome depositarão sua confiança em você, para você, Yahweh, não abandonou aqueles que o procuram.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
11 Sing elogia a Yahweh, que mora em Zion, e declarar entre o povo o que ele fez.
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
12 Para aquele que vingar o sangue, lembra-se deles. Ele não esquece o grito dos aflitos.
For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
13 Tenha piedade de mim, Yahweh. Veja minha aflição por aqueles que me odeiam, e me levantem dos portões da morte,
Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 para que eu possa mostrar todos os seus elogios. Regozijar-me-ei com a sua salvação nos portões da filha de Sião.
In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
15 As nações se afundaram no poço que fizeram. Na rede que eles esconderam, seu próprio pé é levado.
Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
16 Yahweh deu-se a conhecer. Ele executou o julgamento. O perverso é enganado pelo trabalho de suas próprias mãos. A meditação. (Selah)
The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
17 Os ímpios devem voltar para o Sheol, mesmo todas as nações que se esquecem de Deus. (Sheol h7585)
The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol h7585)
18 Para os necessitados não deve ser sempre esquecido, nem a esperança dos pobres perece para sempre.
For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Arise, Yahweh! Não deixe o homem prevalecer. Deixe que as nações sejam julgadas à sua vista.
Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
20 Put eles com medo, Yahweh. Deixe as nações saberem que elas são apenas homens. (Selah)
Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
