1 Uma contemplação de Ethan, o Ezrahite. I vai cantar para sempre a bondade amorosa de Javé. Com minha boca, darei a conhecer sua fidelidade a todas as gerações.
An Instructive Psalm, by Ethan the Ezrahite. The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh, age-abidingly will I sing, To generation after generation, will I make known thy faithfulness with my mouth.
2 Eu realmente declaro: “O amor permanece firme para sempre”. Vocês estabeleceram os céus. Sua fidelidade está neles”.
For I said, To times age-abiding, shall lovingkindness be built up, As for the heavens, thou wilt establish thy faithfulness therein.
3 “Eu fiz um convênio com o escolhido, Eu jurei a David, meu servo,
I have solemnised a covenant, for my chosen one, I have sworn unto David my servant:
4 'Eu estabelecerei sua descendência para sempre, e construa seu trono para todas as gerações”. (Selah)
Unto times age-abiding, will I establish thy seed, And will build up, unto generation after generation, thy throne. (Selah)
5 Os céus louvarão suas maravilhas, Yahweh, sua fidelidade também na assembléia dos santos.
So shall the heavens praise thy wondrousness, O Yahweh, —Yea, thy faithfulness, in the convocation of holy ones.
6 Para quem nos céus pode ser comparado com Yahweh? Quem entre os filhos dos seres celestes é como Yahweh,
For whom, in the skies, can one compare unto Yahweh? [Or] can one liken unto Yahweh, among the sons of the mighty?
7 um Deus muito impressionante no conselho dos santos, a ser temido acima de todos aqueles que estão ao seu redor?
A GOD inspiring awe in the circle of the holy ones, exceedingly, And to be reverenced above all who are round about him.
8 Yahweh, Deus dos Exércitos, que é um poderoso, como você? Sim, sua fidelidade está ao seu redor.
O Yahweh, God of hosts! Who, like thee, is mighty, O Yah! With thy faithfulness round about thee:
9 Você governa o orgulho do mar. Quando suas ondas se levantam, você as acalma.
Thou, rulest over the swelling of the sea, When the rolling waves thereof lift themselves, Thou, dost bid them be still:
10 Você quebrou Rahab em pedaços, como um dos mortos. Você espalhou seus inimigos com seu poderoso braço.
Thou, hast crushed—as one slain—Rahab, With thy strong arm, hast thou scattered thy foes.
11 Os céus são seus. A terra também é sua, o mundo e sua plenitude. Você os fundou.
Thine, are the heavens, Yea, thine, the earth, The world and the fulness thereof, Thou, didst found them;
12 Você criou o norte e o sul. Tabor e Hermon regozijam-se em seu nome.
The north and the south, Thou, didst create them, —Tabor and Hermon, with thy Name, shall shout for joy:
13 Você tem um braço poderoso. Sua mão é forte, e sua mão direita é exaltada.
Thine is an arm with might, Strong is thy hand, High is thy right hand;
14 Righteousness e a justiça são o fundamento de seu trono. A bondade amorosa e a verdade estão diante de seu rosto.
Righteousness and justice, are the establishing of thy throne, Lovingkindness and faithfulness, go before thy face.
15 Blessed são as pessoas que aprendem a aclamar você. Eles caminham à luz de sua presença, Yahweh.
How happy are the people who know the joyful sound! O Yahweh! in the light of thy countenance, shall they firmly march along;
16 Em seu nome, eles se alegram o dia inteiro. Em sua retidão, eles são exaltados.
In thy Name, shall they exult all the day, And, in thy righteousness, shall they be exalted.
17 Pois você é a glória de sua força. Em seu favor, nossa buzina será exaltada.
For, the beauty of their strength, thou art, And, in thine acceptance, shall our horns be exalted.
18 Pois nosso escudo pertence a Yahweh, nosso rei para o Santo de Israel.
For, to Yahweh, belongeth our Shield, And, to the Holy One of Israel, belongeth our King.
19 Depois você falou em visão a seus santos, e disse: “Eu dei força ao guerreiro. Eu exaltei um jovem do povo.
Then spakest thou in vision of thy men of lovingkindness, and saidst—I have laid help upon a mighty one, I have exalted one chosen from among the people;
20 Encontrei David, meu criado. Eu o ungi com meu óleo sagrado,
I have found David my servant, With mine own holy oil, have I anointed him;
21 com quem minha mão deve ser estabelecida. Meu braço também o fortalecerá.
With whom my hand shall be firm, Yea, mine arm, shall strengthen him;
22 Nenhum inimigo irá tributá-lo. Nenhum homem perverso o oprimirá.
No foe shall make exactions on him, Nor shall, a son of perversity, humiliate him;
23 Vou derrotar seus adversários antes dele, e atingir aqueles que o odeiam.
And I will shatter, from before him, his adversaries, And, them who hate him, will I smite;
24 Mas minha fidelidade e minha bondade amorosa estarão com ele. Em meu nome, sua buzina será exaltada.
And, my faithfulness and my lovingkindness, shall be with him, And, in my Name, exalted shall be his horn;
25 Eu colocarei sua mão também sobre o mar, e sua mão direita sobre os rios.
And I will set, in the sea, his hand, And, in the rivers, his right hand;
26 Ele vai me chamar: 'Você é meu Pai', meu Deus, e a rocha da minha salvação”!
He, shall cry out unto me, My Father, thou art, My GOD, and my Rock of Salvation!
27 Também vou nomeá-lo meu primogênito, o mais alto dos reis da terra.
Yea, I, will appoint him, firstborn, Most High to the kings of the earth!
28 Vou manter para sempre mais minha bondade amorosa por ele. Meu convênio permanecerá firme com ele.
Age-abidingly, will I keep for him my lovingkindness, And, my covenant, hath been made steadfast for him;
29 I também fará sua descendência durar para sempre, e seu trono como os dias do céu.
Therefore will I appoint, to futurity, his seed, And his throne as the days of the heavens.
30 Se seus filhos abandonarem minha lei, e não entrem nas minhas portarias;
If his sons forsake my law, And, in my regulations, do not walk;
31 se eles violarem meus estatutos, e não guardem meus mandamentos;
If, my statutes, they profane, And, my commandments, do not keep:
32 então punirei seu pecado com a vara, e sua iniqüidade com listras.
Then will I punish, with a rod, their transgression; And, with stripes, their iniquity:
33 But Não lhe tirarei completamente minha bondade amorosa, nem permitir que a minha fidelidade falhe.
But, my lovingkindness, will I not frustrate from them, Neither will I falsify my faithfulness;
34 Eu não quebrarei meu pacto, nem alterar o que meus lábios pronunciaram.
I will not violate my covenant, And that which hath proceeded out of my lips, will I not alter:
35 Once Eu jurei por minha santidade, Eu não vou mentir para David.
One thing, have I sworn by my holiness, Verily, to David, will I not lie;
36 Sua descendência perdurará para sempre, seu trono como o sol diante de mim.
His seed, age-abidingly, shall remain, And, his throne, be like the sun before me;
37 Será estabelecido para sempre como a lua, a testemunha fiel no céu”. (Selah)
Like the moon, shall it be established unto times age-abiding, And, a witness, in the skies, hath been made sure. (Selah)
38 But você rejeitou e desdenhou. Você tem se zangado com seu ungido.
Yet, thou thyself, hast cast off, and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine Anointed One!
39 Você renunciou ao convênio de seu servo. Você sujou a coroa dele no pó.
Thou hast cast down the covenant of thy Servant, Thou hast profaned, to the earth, his crown;
40 Você quebrou todas as sebes dele. Você arruinou seus bastiões.
Thou hast broken down all his defenses, Thou hast laid his fortresses in ruins;
41 Todos os que passam pelo caminho o roubam. Ele se tornou uma reprovação para seus vizinhos.
All the passers by the way, have plundered him, He hath become a reproach to his neighbours;
42 Você exaltou a mão direita de seus adversários. Você fez todos os inimigos dele se regozijarem.
Thou hast raised the right hand of his adversaries, Thou hast gladdened all his enemies;
43 Yes, você vira para trás o fio da espada dele, e não o apoiaram em batalha.
Yea thou hast turned the edge of his sword, Neither hast thou caused him to stand in the battle;
44 Você terminou o seu esplendor, e atirou seu trono ao chão.
Thou hast brought to an end his splendour, And, his throne—to the ground, hast thou hurled;
45 Você encurtou os dias de sua juventude. Você o cobriu de vergonha. (Selah)
Thou hast shortened the days of his youths, —Thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)
46 How long, Yahweh? Você vai se esconder para sempre? Sua ira vai queimar como fogo?
How long, O Yahweh, Wilt thou hide thyself utterly? Shall thine indignation, burn like fire?
47 Remember como meu tempo é curto, para que vaidade você criou todos os filhos dos homens!
Remember how short-lived, I, am, Wherefore, in vain, hast thou created all the sons of Adam?
48 Que homem é aquele que deve viver e não ver a morte, quem libertará sua alma do poder do Sheol? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
Who is the man that shall live, and not see death? That can deliver his soul from the hand of hades. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
49 Lord, onde estão suas antigas e amorosas gentilezas, o que você jurou a David em sua fidelidade?
Where are thy former lovingkindnesses, O My Lord? Thou didst swear unto David, in thy faithfulness!
50 Remember, Senhor, a reprovação de seus servos, como carrego no coração os escárnios de todos os povos poderosos,
Remember, O My Lord, the reproach of thy servants, I have carried in my bosom the insult of the peoples:
51 com o qual seus inimigos têm zombado, Yahweh, com os quais eles zombaram dos passos de seu ungido.
In that thy foes have reproached, O Yahweh, In that they have reproached the footsteps of thine Anointed One!
52 Blessed ser Yahweh para sempre mais. Amém, e Amém.
Blessed be Yahweh to times age-abiding, Amen, and Amen!
