Salmos 80
1 Para o músico chefe. Ao som de “The Lilies of the Covenant”. Um Salmo de Asaph. Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, você que lidera José como um rebanho, você que se senta por cima do querubim, brilha.
To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim Eduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest [between] the cherubim, shine forth.
2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, e Manasseh, despertem sua força! Venha nos salvar!
Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come [and] save us.
3 Turn nós novamente, Deus. Porque seu rosto brilha, e seremos salvos.
Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4 Yahweh Deus dos Exércitos, por quanto tempo você vai ficar com raiva contra a oração de seu povo?
O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 Você os alimentou com o pão de lágrimas, e lhes deu lágrimas para beber em grande medida.
Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6 Você nos faz uma fonte de controvérsia para nossos vizinhos. Nossos inimigos riem entre si.
Thou makest us a strife to our neighbors: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Transforme-nos novamente, Deus dos Exércitos. Porque seu rosto brilha, e seremos salvos.
Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
8 Você trouxe uma videira para fora do Egito. Você expulsou as nações, e a plantou.
Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9 Você limpou o terreno para isso. Criou raízes profundas, e encheu a terra.
Thou preparedst [room] before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
10 As montanhas foram cobertas com sua sombra. Seus ramos eram como os cedros de Deus.
The hills were covered with the shade of it, and its boughs [were like] the goodly cedars.
11 Enviou suas filiais para o mar, seus rebentos para o rio.
She sent out her boughs to the sea, and her branches to the river.
12 Why você derrubou suas paredes, para que todos aqueles que passarem pelo caminho o arrancem?
Why hast thou [then] broke down her hedges, so that all they who pass by the way do pluck her?
13 O javali fora da floresta o assola. Os animais selvagens do campo se alimentam dele.
The boar from the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
14 Turn novamente, imploramos a você, Deus dos Exércitos. Olhe do céu, e veja, e visite esta videira,
Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 o estoque que sua mão direita plantou, o ramo que você fez forte para si mesmo. O
And the vineyard which thy right hand planted, and the branch [that] thou madest strong for thyself.
16 It está queimado com fogo. É cortado. Eles perecem com sua repreensão.
[It is] burnt with fire, [it is] cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Let sua mão esteja com o homem de sua mão direita, sobre o filho do homem que você fez forte para si mesmo.
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man [whom] thou madest strong for thyself.
18 Portanto, não vamos nos afastar de você. Reviva-nos, e nós chamaremos seu nome.
So will we not go back from thee: revive us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 Transforme-nos novamente, Yahweh Deus dos Exércitos. Porque seu rosto brilhará, e nós seremos salvos.
Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
