Salmos 76

1 Para o músico chefe. Em instrumentos de corda. Um Salmo de Asaph. Uma canção. In Judah, Deus é conhecido. Seu nome é ótimo em Israel.

TO THE OVERSEER. WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. A PSALM OF ASAPH. A SONG. God [is] known in Judah, His Name [is] great in Israel.

2 Seu tabernáculo também está em Salem. Sua morada em Zion.

And His dwelling place is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion.

3 Lá ele quebrou as flechas flamejantes do arco, o escudo, e a espada, e as armas de guerra. (Selah)

There He has shattered arrows of a bow, Shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)

4 Glorious é você, e excelente, mais do que montanhas de caça.

You [are] bright, majestic above hills of prey.

5 Valiant os homens mentem saqueados, eles dormiram seu último sono. Nenhum dos homens de guerra pode levantar as mãos.

The mighty of heart have spoiled themselves, They have slept their sleep, And none of the men of might found their hands.

From Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse have been fast asleep.

You, fearful [are] You, And who stands before You, Since You have been angry?

8 Você pronunciou o julgamento do céu. A terra temia, e se calava,

You have sounded judgment from the heavens, Earth has feared, and has been still,

9 quando Deus se levantou para julgar, para salvar todos os aflitos da terra. (Selah)

In the rising of God to judgment, To save all the humble of earth. (Selah)

10 Certamente, a ira do homem o elogia. Os sobreviventes de sua ira são reprimidos.

For the fierceness of man praises You, You gird on the remnant of fierceness.

11 Faça os votos a Javé seu Deus, e cumpra-os! Que todos os seus vizinhos tragam presentes a ele que deve ser temido.

Vow and complete to your God YHWH, All you surrounding Him, They bring presents to the Fearful One.

12 Ele cortará o espírito dos príncipes. Ele é temido pelos reis da terra.

He gathers the spirit of leaders, Fearful to the kings of earth!
